Everyone has moments of regret.

Moments where we wish we could rewind time and make a different decision. Psalm 51 gives us a powerful picture of how to respond when we realize we’ve made a mistake.

Written after David’s sin with Bathsheba and the confrontation from the prophet Nathan, this Psalm shows us what genuine repentance looks like.

Instead of hiding or making excuses, David brings his failure honestly before God.
