SPEAKER_08It don't come around no more. Sittin was time to floatin' at the window. Sing you moving on the birds, singin' all my songs on the desktop free.
SPEAKER_20Give them a call at 251-264-2498. They offer mobile patrol services of churches, businesses, gated communities, condominiums, beach resorts, yacht clubs, and so much more. 251-264-2498. Call today and you will sleep better tonight. And good morning. Happy Thursday to you. We've almost made it to another weekend. For some of us, that doesn't really mean a whole lot because we work seven days a week. At least it feels that way. I'm Rick McCann behind the microphone here at the Blue Ran Media Studios, once again, broadcasting live on this Thursday morning, the 19th day of March. Hope that you enjoyed your St. Patty's Day. Maybe even see the parade someplace along the way. But we are cruising right into the weekend, and the temperatures are warming up, and it's my favorite time of year. Of course, so is fall, but we have a lot happening, and we're telling you all about it on today's program. Of course, we're gonna play you some brand new music out of Nashville. Now, this guy, Ryan Martin, he's got a good sound. Young, uh, you know, I think he's back, you know, in uh he's he's new, but I think he's back in the old days. I think he's uh taking a hit or two from old-style country, but he's still got a good V to him. Also, of course, we got the extended weather. I'll tell you about some things happening in the news and so much more. Remember, you can always contact us day or night at helpdesk at bluermedia.com. Or if you're an indie singer, you can send us your indie song. You can also report news anytime. SPEAKER_18We need everybody's help to get there as fast as we can. So when you see the lights, move to the right.
SPEAKER_05Should have known better than taking back to Abilene. Put him right back in her arms. I wasn't a match for that kind of spark. She's from Texas, I can tell by the way. He's two stepping round the room. And judging by the smile that's written on his face. There's nothing I can do. It doesn't take a crystal ball to see. A cowboy always finds a way to sleep, drinking jack all by myself. He's choosing Texas, I can tell I guess he forgot about the smoky mountain rain. The bowl hanging tunes, the Memphis Bluesley used to say He always loved Emore by morning. I should have taken that as a warning. She's from Texas, I can tell by the way. He's too stepping round the room. Judging by the smile that's written off his face. There's nothing I can do. It doesn't take a crystal seat. A cowboy always finds a way to leave. Drinking drunk all by myself. Where are we spent on a Canin out cry? Cause that for you can't wear with every mouth. I don't know that his mind wasn't never gonna change. Cause his heart still belongs to the last star stay. She's from Texas, I can tell by the way. He's two stepping round the room. And judging by the smile that's trickin' on his face. There's nothing I can do. A cowboy always finds a way to leave. Drinking jackal by myself. He's choosing Texas, I can tell Drinking Jack all by myself. He's choosing Texas, I can tell. Come on, baby. Just when I thought I got him a spawn can you do that?
SPEAKER_13I'm gonna leave. Maybe someday when I can give up this time.
SPEAKER_03Not the same way we change that with fly.
SPEAKER_13One of the two three days.
SPEAKER_11Used to brush the hair back to make me feel like someone.
SPEAKER_25Tell me where to be going. You were my best friend, I wanna only love.
SPEAKER_11You don't touch me anymore.
SPEAKER_25Never say the words hello.
SPEAKER_03The sun's gone down since you got gone. I bet you think I'm still sitting here alone. All tore up like a whiskey label, staring at the key that you left on the table. Hate to tell you, baby, but you got it wrong. I am missing you like crazy. Keeping big Completely. I'm doing alright, fuck the stay five minutes, live my mouth. Let me friends, put it on my lip, track on the back. But I don't care. Never come back. I got friends like that. About this time you and I be tangled up. Yeah, but that's alright, the spires ain't keeping me warm enough. I got a wife burden with that. When it gets down the highest, just fill it back up. I'm a booze, but I got bugs. Give me a left, Jack on my right. Don't let smoke on a Friday night. I got the hell, but I don't care. I got friends like that.
unknownYeah, I got friends like that.
SPEAKER_20Broadcasting live from the beautiful Gulf Coast of Alabama, it's Highway 98. We've got your favorite new hits, some of those good old hits, indie music, gospel, bluegrass, and so much more here on Highway 98. Does your company, church, business, or school need to get your employees certified in first aid CPR and saving a life? Well, guess what? Armored jackets here on the Gulf Coast. Call them today at 251-234-2498. They will bring the train to you wherever you five one two three four two four nine eight. You haven't read it. Not just locally in the world. You know, I've been here since 1989. And I gotta tell you, when I came down, it was quiet. You were from making a little bit of flavor. Oh no, if you're from here or you've been here quite some time. It was really no big deal. And it was called the redneck river to be honest with you. Every year the money that's made the major continues to ride and have for the day because that's how you pay for it. You know, if you have a business, and you're not making any revenue, you can't pay your employees, you can't buy stuff that you need. And that's just how it goes. The attraction to the Gulf Coast is I mean, multi-tiered, not just the beaches. There's more activities, more things to do, things like other uh tourist attractions, overmobile, and you know, people are not just looking to the beaches, they're going to Golf Islands, they're going to Mobile, they're going through all our region. And going towards Lord Beach Tourism by the President Michelle Russell. The information here is the nation or imagination. And one of the other key elements that people are talking about is a brand new Herbert. Honestly.
SPEAKER_06Oh no, I think it's still a great place for my short field breaks, so the dick make a shiver slow down. And I just ride midnight saw and I turn the bye around. Bloody miss the ass one don't give a hang on a hell of a fact. But my remedy for handle thin a time.
SPEAKER_23Just take a step out of the work.
SPEAKER_06I don't know the hands of time. When I need to find forgiveness, I find a little small town. Afterwards, I like to put my ill bowls off on a ball.
SPEAKER_07We take our licks like text is toe. We say thanks.
SPEAKER_06We focus our hands.
SPEAKER_07Tuesdays gone, great friends.
SPEAKER_09Somebody's gotta drink beer at a cash on the bar. Somebody's gotta drive a truck with a little bit of rust. Yes, somebody's gotta do. Might as well be us.
SPEAKER_03Where's the walls born in between the highways? Babies Bible, Bible, Belt, and the King James. Now everybody is one way, and I look like we did.
SPEAKER_09With the bubble I fanced. Round it and we wanna hold it with boys go up and do what their daddy does, cause somebody's got to do it.
SPEAKER_01Rip currents cause an estimated 100 deaths each year in the United States. In 2021, five of these deaths were on the Gulf Coast. Rip currents are the number one ruther-related killer at the beaches along the northern Gulf Coast. The number of rip current fatalities on these beaches is more than the fatalities of flooding, tornadoes, lightning, and tropical storms or hurricanes combined. Learn the facts. Before heading out to the beach, check current beach conditions and know what each flag means. Always swim near a lifeguard. Rip currents are narrow currents that flow away from the beach. If you notice you're being pulled away from the beach and are swimming and getting tired, you may be in a rip current. Think of it like a treadmill that you can't turn off. You want to step to the side of it, don't swim against the current, try to swim across it in a direction following the shoreline. Rip currents do not pull you under, but may take you as far out as a football field so people can tire quickly. The most important thing is to stay calm. If you can't escape the current, float or calmly tread water. Wave for help if you can. Rip current's strength eventually subsides and may even take you closer to shore. If you see someone caught in a rip current, call 911 or get a lifeguard and throw something that floats towards the victim. For more information, please visit www.visitalbeaches.com slash safety.
SPEAKER_20We play all the new hits. And some of those slightly used, but ever so good used ones too. Here on Coastal Alabama's Highway 98 Radio. And once again, I've got your extended weather forecast coming up right here from Blue Ray Media. And I'll tell you, it's looking mighty fine as far as I'm concerned. For the rest of the day, we're gonna have Sunshine Zero percent for the rest of the Thursday.
SPEAKER_03I hardly ever thank you. Lady It ain't all sunshine when you cross my mind, I start missing you like crazy.
SPEAKER_15I try to number the pain, but there ain't no damn way. I end up in that place, and I'm just one whiskey away, and I don't mind if I do drink up the nerve to show up at your house. If you wanna know the truth, it's killing me not holding you right now. I want memory awake from falling all the way apart. Cause I might still love you.
SPEAKER_03Hope you don't mind if I almost quit drinking for while I quit thinking about you. I got a little sleep for some nights. I can't control it. Sometimes I give in because not having you.
SPEAKER_15When I give in to the advice, no the road rise. Girl, I know that's when start missing again. And I don't mind if I drink up the nerve and show price. If you want to know the truth, it's killing me not holding you right. Hope you don't mind if I do need you to pick me up now.
SPEAKER_03Covered in a good bottom dust. You're the only thing to get me through.
SPEAKER_05Well, I don't mind if you do Drank a little too much and show up at my house. Be nice to hear the truth. Is it killing you, not holding me right now? It falling enemy is the only thing you think is gonna get you through. Then I don't mind if you do. I don't mind.
SPEAKER_21On the westbound beach town, golden state highway drive. Out the window, and the other end. I could live right even this moment for the rest of my life.
SPEAKER_22Cause time won't slow down, so it's time we go now. Changer rising up from Calolina called sky. Say goodnight to the Colorado rain.
SPEAKER_21Scout and love. I can say forever, but forever ain't long enough tonight. Oh songs I wanna ride about you. Say all that we wanna say and do all we wanna do.
SPEAKER_03So it's time we go now.
SPEAKER_22Share the risings of the Catalina coastline, Jeep around the way to stand. See if we can't be doing mountain sunrise.
SPEAKER_03Sneaking night to the colour rain.

SPEAKER_02A farmer and a teacher, a hooker and a preacher, riding on a midnight bus bound for Mexico. One was headed for vacation, one for higher education, and two of them were searching for lost souls. That driver never ever stops, stop sign. Eighteen wheelers can't stop on a line. There are three wooden cross on the right side of the highway. I guess it's not what you take when you leave this world behind you. It's what you leave behind you when you don't. A home an eighty acres. Faith and love for growing things in his young son's heart. And that teacher left her wisdom in the minds of lots of children, did her best to give them all a better start. And that preacher expert can't you see the promised land. There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the power. When you leave this world behind What to leave behind you when you told That's the story that I preach to told last Monday. Now I guess we know it's not what you take when you leave this world behind. It's what you leave behind you when you go.

And I heard you back in town in a crowd of strangers and lovers. Someone told me that you were coming. So I should probably go to bed. I should probably turn off my phone. I should quill out of my head. I should probably leave alone. Cause I know in the morning I'll be calling. Saying sorry for the things I said. So I should probably go to bed. So I don't undo the God over you that it took so long to find. Cause all it would take is seeing your face and not forget. I should probably go to bed. I should probably turn off my phone. Blame it on texting. Don't blame it on me. And you can say what you wanna say about my instability. Blame it on texting. Don't blame it on me.
SPEAKER_00The Federal Aviation Administration wants you to fly your drone responsibly. Avoid flying your drone in your underair.
SPEAKER_25Hand me down shack, bugs ever hanging in that crack window. I got a screen door for TV. Only AC I got is ACDC. Last year's dear frying on an old slope.
SPEAKER_03Some might say I'm a rubbing, but I'm a long, long way from bumin' it. I'm young and free like a wind in a livel tree. There's cold in the sun when I wake up. A little bit of liquor in my coffee cup. I got boots on the floor and overhead on my wall.
SPEAKER_25And don't take much at all. Got a pretty girl, drives me here while works at a joint called the bonfire. She loves rockin' this little shack in the woods. When the song gets to settin' and the stars appear, lighting up the sky like a chandelier. Get wrapped in a blanket like a movie from Hollywood.
SPEAKER_03Some might say I'ma rubbin' it. I'm a long, long way from bummining. I'm young and free like the wind in a lava tree. There's cold in the sun and away, girl. A little bit of liquid in the coffee girl. Got the boots on the floor and all the way on the wall. Don't say much.
SPEAKER_25Some men say I'm a rough, but I'm a long, long way from dominant.
SPEAKER_03I'm young and free like the wind in a live oak tree. A little bit of liquor in my coffee cup. Got fruits on the floor, and all going on the wall. Don't take much, let's have it all. I've been down up deep, been in the cookie crown, been a little lost, a little found, just looking for the truth. I don't look back, but look good at my head over my show. Make me finally see why everything had to be Let me want no more. I've been settled down for the center. Told a good girl Idiot. I gave her a list of reasons that I really know why I've been on it. Searching, wonder why nothing ain't working. I don't know why I stayed white. Take a woman and roll this don't have left alone. Got your head right on my shoulder Making me finally see why everything I try to be Live me on the morning. One thing I think is your It's difficult to believe but believe it, you must.
SPEAKER_20It's that time again for the field. Every year it becomes more and more calculator.
