SPEAKER_08

Jack Daniels, Black Label, empty dining, room table. Here we go again. Another last resort, so help me, Jesus. The silence, so quiet, it's filling my mind where everything we were that wasn't once again. I fall to pieces. I gave up on a shooting star. It happened to fall down way too far to fix this kind of feeling that I'm feeling. I tried to back you up at church, read every chapter, every verse. But on my prayers, they always hit the ceiling. So I do the only thing that don't make me feel empty. Pull that bottle out and wish upon a whiskey. No chance reading when there's no one listen. Tryna keep my head above the water. I'm always keep drowning in this tennis. I gave up on a shooting star. It have to fall down way too far. To fix this kind of feeling and I'm failing I tried to back view of that church. Well every chapter, every bird, but my prayers they always need to say Show you all the way, but don't make me feel it. Here comes the bird. I love to hate Here's all I'm dying. I'm trying to make you a venture. But I'll be like friends, they always hit the ceiling. Some do the only thing that don't make me feel ill Pull it by all and wish upon a wheel scheme.

SPEAKER_16

SPEAKER_07

Crackling through a screen door night, Moller humin' harmony, daddy coming home on time From poor flight at half past ten, knowin' where I'd always be back when love was simple, true, and time moved patiently. But I still hear what matters most. It still sounds like home to me. That old familiar mill and the same truth, different years gone by, same heart, older eyes I've cheese. The road I roam along. Something never let you go. No matter how far I roam, it still sounds like home.

SPEAKER_08

I grew up fast, learned all the lessons. Burn some nights I can't rewind. Neon signs and empty rooms, tryna quiet what's inside. I ran from what I thought was small, just something I couldn't name. Funny how the further I got, the louder home still rain. Try drowning out that voice inside. Turns out roots don't say goodbye. Even when I don't deserve the peace, every wrong turn, every mile still knows me by my name. I've been lost, yeah, I've been gone. But that sound keeps pulling me on. No matter how far I roam, it still sounds like home.

SPEAKER_07

Son the road, don't care who's right. It'll test your soul and test it twice. But what's real long bigger band? It just waits for you to listen. Ain't the ones that type the charts, they're the ones that bring it back. Life pulls you apart. It still sounds like home to me. Not the noise, but the harmony kinda song you don't forget long after it's been played. I sing Love Outlast the Storm. I sing fate take human form. No matter how far I roam, it still sounds like home.

SPEAKER_08

I ain't proud of every scar, but they taught me who I am. I'm still learning how to stay. When leaving feels easier. If I ever lose my way, I know what song I play. It ain't loud, it ain't new, but it saves me too. If the world keeps pulling me apart, I'll follow that sound back to the stone. It still sounds like home to me through the noise. In the in between, every broken note I've known still fits that melody. I ain't perfect, never was, but I still believe in us. No matter how far I roam, it still sounds like home. It still sounds like home.

SPEAKER_09

Rip currents cause an estimated 100 deaths each year in the United States. In 2021, five of these deaths were on the Gulf Coast. Rip currents are the number one ruthery-related killer at the beaches along the northern Gulf Coast. The number of rip current fatalities on these beaches is more than the fatalities of flooding, tornadoes, lightning, and tropical storms or hurricanes combined. Learn the facts. Before heading out to the beach, check current beach conditions and know what each flag means. Always swim near a lifeguard. Rip currents are narrow currents that flow away from the beach. If you notice you're being pulled away from the beach and are swimming and getting tired, you may be in a rip current. Think of it like a treadmill that you can't turn off. You want to step to the side of it. Don't swim against the current. Try to swim across it in a direction following the shoreline. Rip currents do not pull you under, but may take you as far out as a football field so people can tire quickly. The most important thing is to stay calm. If you can't escape the current, float or calmly tread water. Wave for help if you can. Rip current's strength eventually subsides and may even take you closer to shore. If you see someone caught in a rip current, call 911 or get a lifeguard and throw something that floats towards the victim. For more information, please visit www.visitalbeaches.com slash safety.

Every heartbeat towing the line. Told ourselves as strong as stone. But even bricks can crack when you're alone. We're living in a glass house. Going stone, saying things we don't mean. Cut to the phone, smart to burn it all down somehow.

SPEAKER_20

Yeah, look a fact.

SPEAKER_10

In a glass house.

SPEAKER_02

We used to shine, we used to love.

SPEAKER_20

We're living in a glass house. Throwing stones, saying things we don't make. Put to the phone once mark, burn it all down somehow.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, in a glass house.

SPEAKER_20

I still remember your first smile when every mile was worth a while. But somewhere along this worn outer row, we dropped the love we used to hold. Now every word's alone and God.

SPEAKER_10

If we can lay these stones aside, let's be our God. Maybe we find when we've been missed.

SPEAKER_02

We've got all the things that hold on, try to fix what we've done wrong. The light still shines through the cracks somehow.

SPEAKER_10

Maybe love still.

SPEAKER_20

In this glass house.

SPEAKER_18

They'll just leave you where you lay, broken, beaten on the floor. My dear baby, these words are pouring straight from the Lord. You got a diamond, I got gold. Do we really need much more? Don't be fooled by the voices that we're hearing from the town. Cause all that matters in the end is that we're famous in this house. Open up all the walls, let the wind just blow us out.

SPEAKER_10

Take us away to a place where we couldn't live without just take my head be with me, my dear. Just promise me a life that's green from leaves beneath those.

SPEAKER_18

From the places we have been. Stand here now and just know that these words will never change and push your palms in the mind so our hearts can be the same. When we grow old, we'll find love in every single place. I'll put your flowers in a picture, cause I can't find a vase. But for now, sit with me at the altar of our grace. The sky looks pretty, but I swear to you, it's jealous of your face.

SPEAKER_16

SPEAKER_10

I'm gonna go.

SPEAKER_16

Police, the Magnolia Springs Fire Department, EMS, and others responded to the wreck on County Road 12, also known as Vernon Park Road, between Magnolia Springs and Foley. When firefighters arrived, they found one vehicle upside down, two people trapped, and sadly both of those occupants were deceased. Aliyah, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, has identified those folks as Jefferson B. Davis, 61 of Foley, and Tabitha F. Davis, 57 of Foley. Davis, Jefferson Davis was the driver of a 2014 Maserati, according to police, lost control, unfortunately, and rolled over, and both uh unfortunately succumbed to their injuries. A woman was injured in a Sunday morning fire, house fire in Mobile. Police and fire responded to the 1500 block of Plover Street. One woman was rescued, three others were able to escape the fire, the burning building. Uh, the woman is in good condition, the other three were not injured. Fire department personnel said they believe that an oxygen tank exploded, but don't know how that occurred, and they are currently investigating. A new bill in Alabama will add more authority to police when it comes to enforcing immigration laws. The bill in Montgomery is making its way currently through the legislative process. It's called the Lakin Riley Act, named after a 24-year-old Georgia nursing student that was killed by an undocumented immigrant in 2024. Some police love this, and others say they don't have time, they're understaffed, but it is certain to make its way to the governor's desk soon, according to insiders. Also, in the news, if you have any slightly used life jackets, or you want to go out and buy a few, a program in order to beach needs donations of life jackets. The program that was started through CETO Foundation makes water safety easy because they lend you, your child, the teenager, whoever it might be, a life jacket when they go out into the water and then they return it. Right now the program is uh really in its swing and it just needs more life jackets. You can drop them off at the Orange Beach Fire Rescue Administration building. They ask that they be slightly used or new, and they appreciate it. That's really a a very good program, actually. A woman in theodore was killed during a hit and run. A pedestrian police say was walking across the street in the Theatre Dawes area when someone struck and killed Amanda C. Godwin 34. Authorities say that the vehicle fled and that state troopers are still investigating. If you know anything about this, please call 251-315-0103. Such a tragedy. The wharf concert season is underway. Oh my, what a beautiful sight it is down there, especially on a nice warm uh summer afternoon or evening. You if you haven't been there, you have been missing out. Fourteen concerts have been lined up throughout the year, starting off with Bailey Zimmerman, a country artist, and Tucker Wetmore and McCoy Moore all hitting the stage, coming up in a few days, March 27th at 7 p.m. And then there'll be even some comedians, Weird Al Yankovich and others, will also be taking the stage, and so many other concerts are planned. So get on down there, get your tickets, talking about concerts. Kenny Chesney is coming to Florida Bama. That's right. An exclusive Cyrus XM concert is going to be kicking off April the 18th to celebrate 10 years of his Cyrus XM channel, No Shoes Radio, with this exclusive concert. They're expecting a big crowd. Now they say you need to make plans to get on down there. You do have to submit uh a request. And um, I'll tell you what, I may do that because this is definitely gonna be fun. Baldwin County deputies told us a few days ago that they are investigating an incident that happened in Magnolia Springs where two dogs were shot, one fatally, and the other one had to have one of their legs amputated. This happened, according to the deputies, um a few days ago. They say that generally they um stay in their yard. They don't know who would have done this. Melissa Lacosti was the owner of the dogs. They say she was at work when she was called by a neighbor about gunshots in the area. They do have uh some information from somebody's camera, and they are investigating. A Bosnian war criminal was arrested by federal agents this past week in Mobile County. Authorities say that he's been wanted for almost 30 years. Neighbors say he and his family are quiet, they actually raise chickens and sell their eggs to Walmart and other places, and no one would have expected that you know these were wanted people. The man's name is Hamjah Olacik, and he's wanted for war crimes by the Bosnia government. Currently he's held um locally, but he could be extradited uh out of the country in the next few weeks. A big new industrial complex is coming to Foley, one that's been talked about for quite a while on 121 acres. According to the mayor, this is gonna be at the intersection of Foley Beach Express and the Baldwin Beach Express, a large industrial park, something that they have been looking for quite a while to do. Since 2026, 15.7 million dollars has been distributed through a state program called the Seeds to help communities to bring in businesses and employ workers, and this uh just adds to all of the excitement about the growth of the area. Some don't like it, and others love it, and uh, you know, it is what it is. Remember, when you see news happening any place here along the Gulf Coast, certainly send it to us newsdesk at bluermedia.com.

SPEAKER_08

I'll pull up to the store and hard whatever the hell I want to. I'll buy box of moon pies, flirt with the cashier, yeah, like I was still twenty two. I'll bitch about eighteen dollars for a gallon of gas down at the Texaco when I home. Yeah, someday when I'm old, I'll keep chewing gum in my front pocket and cold doctor pepper in the fridge. I'll let my daughter get mad. See, I'm ruining their supper. Wanna give that stuff to my grandkids? I realize it's something they just don't matter, and how fast it all goes Sunday. You always someday when I'm old, I'll be the only one that remembers you beautiful. Dark hair falling on that pillowcase on the secret wasted on the last week.

I sit at home and wonder why. I feel so all alone every time it'll rains, and summer showers soak the ground.

I watch the rain come pouring down, and I call out your name Every time it'll rain I hang my head upon a diamond, and I don't seem to kill it on Just not making it on my own Every time Sometimes when I close my eyes and pretend that you mean But every time it rains I realize just how long my life is gonna be every time it rains every time I hear the raindrops fall, I may say I don't mind at all But I do Every time it'll rain Every time I try to tell myself That in time I'll find somebody else But it won't be you Every time it rained Every time it rains every time it rained Well I've certainly had a good time today behind the microphone playing you the hits and telling you about that weather and some of the breaking news and events and so forth.
