SPEAKER_06You could see the pockets flat on tight up. Mossy oak hat Cold Beer bottled on. Peel the label off it. It takes a dirt road to make a girl like that. She certified. County line. She country and she knows it. Everybody in here does too. Body like a river, just a rollin'. Tall boot, steppin' like one, two, one, two. Don't I don't really go in. Roots run deep, but they can't hide. That girl's country and she knows it. She knows she got this country boy tonight.
unknownAlright.
SPEAKER_06The wild turns on when she hears Marina Del Rey. Y'all gets thicker when she's tipping back wine. Song 42 tattooed on a rib cage. Saw it dancing in the dark last night. She certified. County alive. She country, she knows it. Everybody in here does do. Body like a river, just a rollin'. Tall food, steppin' like one, two, one, two. It don't matter where she goes. Roots run deep, but they can't hide. That girl's country and she knows it. She knows she got this country for tonight. No matter what I do, got her every little move from last night on my mind. She's certified. County line. She country and she knows it. Everybody in here does too. Body like a river, just a rollin'. Top foot, stepping line. One, two, one, two. It don't matter what she's going. Roots run deep, but they can't hide. That girl's country and she knows it. She knows she got this country for tonight.
SPEAKER_03All right.
SPEAKER_06She country and she knows it.
SPEAKER_12I was going up. You need to call the professionals at Mobile Bay Public Safety Patrol. Two five one two six four two four nine eight. Mobile patrol. Residential community.
SPEAKER_13Double duty. Double duty. And we might have it again. Real soon.
SPEAKER_06And if we could see right through me, my broken heart still shows. Misery like I never known. There's no getting over you. And time goes by so slow. I'm still the way you left me. A million tears ago. I can't move on and say goodbye. Pride standing in the way. I hang my head and start to cry. Remembering yesterday. I keep your picture by my bed, your smile and my rose. I'm still away you left me. A million tears ago. Back when we were lovers. Back when we were friends before you let you with you never fail. I only know to love. I guess that how it goes. Before you let you with love.
SPEAKER_03I guess that's how it goes.
SPEAKER_06I still in tears a go. I guess that's how it goes. I'm still away you left me. A million tears a go.
SPEAKER_17Now it's my turn for crying. I never earned the love she gave me. One day she just stopped trying. For a moment I dreamed, now I know.
SPEAKER_16Just to do. I fell in love all over.
SPEAKER_06Just to stop the hurt. I wanted her more. I burned the door.
SPEAKER_17I don't know. Just on me.
SPEAKER_04All over all over again.
SPEAKER_06Just seem to sleep.
SPEAKER_07That sounds great, but it's not for me. Yeah, I wanna believe that I'm gonna go where the green grass grows. Why flowers this when the wind blows? The fix is good on earth. I hope, I hope heaven. I hope heavens are going to ask in that old broco. Strawberry line on the radio. Driving those back from nowhere to go. Chasing the sun's hell. Just a mile. Baga face and then everyone on the population slam on holy grounds in these countlines. And everyone have to miss this last.
SPEAKER_13We've got your favorite new hits. Some of those good old hits. Indie music, gospel, bluegrass, and so much more. Here on Highway 98.
SPEAKER_10Rip currents cause an estimated 100 deaths each year in the United States. In 2021, five of these deaths were on the Gulf Coast. Rip currents are the number one ruthery-related killer at the beaches along the northern Gulf Coast. The number of rip current fatalities on these beaches is more than the fatalities of flooding, tornadoes, lightning, and tropical storms or hurricanes combined. Learn the facts. Before heading out to the beach, check current beach conditions and know what each flag means. Always swim near a lifeguard. Rip currents are narrow currents that flow away from the beach. If you notice you're being pulled away from the beach and are swimming and getting tired, you may be in a rip current. Think of it like a treadmill that you can't turn off. You want to step to the side of it, don't swim against the current. Try to swim across it in a direction following the shoreline. Rip currents do not pull you under, but may take you as far out as a football field so people can tire quickly. The most important thing is to stay calm. If you can't escape the current, float or calmly tread water. Wave for help if you can. Rip current's strength eventually subsides and may even take you closer to shore. If you see someone caught in a rip current, call 911 or get a lifeguard and throw something that floats towards the victim. For more information, please visit www.visitalbeaches.com slash safety.

SPEAKER_09I know you see the mess on it. Every scar beneath my skin.
SPEAKER_05God, I'm not okay tonight. I'm barely holding on a thing.
SPEAKER_07My head is shaking in the dark.
SPEAKER_05And hopefully it slipped away. But I'm still calling out a day. Please stand a little rain. Stay in my soul.
SPEAKER_14Feels like it might swallow me whole God.
SPEAKER_05I'm not okay to learn.
SPEAKER_09I've been walking through the vet where the shadows burn.
SPEAKER_14Everything feels like always.
SPEAKER_05But I remember what my mom said when the world fell through the floor.

SPEAKER_06Crackling through a screen door night, Mama humming harmony, Daddy coming home on time From poor flight at half past ten, knowing where I'd always been back when love was simple, true, and time moved patiently. That old familiar middle of the same true different years gone by, same heart, older eyes out cheese. The road I run alone. Something never let you go. No matter how far I roam, it still sounds like home. I grew up fast, learn hard lessons. Burn some nights I can't rewind. Neon signs and empty rooms, tryna quiet what's inside. I ran from what I thought was small, just something I couldn't name. Funny how the further I got, the louder home still rain. Try drowning out that voice inside. Turns out roots don't say goodbye. It still sounds like home to me. Even when I don't deserve the peace, every wrong turn, every mile still knows me by my name. I've been lost, yeah, I've been gone. But that sound keeps pulling me on. No matter how far I'm home, it still sounds like don't care who right, it'll test your soul and test it twice. But what real don't make your band It just waits for you to listen. This songs have ever known Ain't the ones that type the charts, they're the ones that bring it back. Life pulls you apart. It still sounds like home to me, not the noise, but the harmony kind of song you don't forget long after it's been played. I sing Love Outlast the Storm. I see fake human form. No matter how far I roam, it still sounds like home. I ain't proud of every scar, but they taught me who I own. I'm still learning how to stay when leaving feels easier. If I ever lose my way, I know what song I play. It ain't loud, it ain't new, but it saves me too. If the world keeps pulling me apart, I'll follow that sound back to the store. And it still sounds like home to me through the noise, and in between every broken note I've known still fits that melody. I ain't perfect, never was, but I still believe in us. No matter how far I roam, it still sounds like home. It still sounds like comfort.
SPEAKER_15And my demon finally lost behind me, can't even find me in the dark.
SPEAKER_06Your lips are like a kiss, sunshine pouring down the rain.
SPEAKER_15And when you whisper my name, I hear anything.
SPEAKER_06But with the wheels and freight train whipping wheels and freight trains. Like a bullet from a rifle, ain't straight in my heart.
SPEAKER_15Trigger are those echoes in the business Used to hit me so hard.
SPEAKER_06But when you lie by my side in peaceful dreams, moonlight on your face, girl, I can drift away and sleep today I'm with the wheels and freight train beep.
SPEAKER_15Whipple wheels and freight trains. Whipper wheels and freight trains.

And once again, this morning, Monday morning in the Blue Ram Media Studios, sitting here at the news and weather desk, we've got the latest extended weather forecast for you, and it's a hit or miss, but mostly a good hit. I do want to remind you that it's still very dry in our area, and across Baldwin and Mobile counties, and across the state, actually, there have been dozens and dozens and dozens of brush fires and large fires. We, of course, just had one recently uh in the Gulf State Parks and the surrounding areas. Over the weekend, a number of large 40-acre plus fires. So please remember it is dry. Now, as for the rest of the week, today is gonna be mostly cloudy. The high will be right at around 75 degrees during the daytime, 66 degrees in the overnight. We have a slight chance, about 20%, of some sprinkles, not a whole lot more, and winds are coming out of the southwest at about 15 miles per hour. As we head on into Tuesday, it's going to be similar, about 76, 77 degrees will be your high during the daytime. 66 in the overnight. We're gonna have some sunshine, but we're also gonna have some clouds, and as we move into the evening tomorrow, we're gonna see some rain, about 40% chance of rain in our area. Again, nothing major. I don't think there's gonna be any thunderstorms or big skully washers as they used to call them, but we're definitely gonna see some some light rain. 37 to 40 percent, and uh wind coming out of the north northwest at 15 miles per hour. As we move into the midweek, we're gonna see a bigger chance of rain. 77 on Wednesday will be your high 66 during the overnight. We are gonna see rain chances ramping up to about 60%, and the winds coming out of the southeast at about 10 miles per hour. Once again, I don't think there's gonna be any thunderstorms, but we will see those later in the week. Thursday will be similar. We're gonna have 78 degrees as a high 66 in the overnight. We're gonna have some sunshine on Thursday. There's gonna be some clouds moving in, and again, 25 to 30 percent chance of rain happening on Thursday. Winds will be blowing pretty strong from the southeast at about 16 to 18 miles per hour with just a little bit higher. In fact, it could be 20 to 25 percent. Hey, coming up on Friday, we're gonna have kind of a dicey situation. We are going to see some thunderstorms on Friday. It's gonna be 77 degrees as a high. Showers in the morning, isolated thunderstorms arriving in the afternoon. Chances of rain pretty high, right around 60%. The overnight will be a little bit calmer, but the low overnight will be 67 degrees, and we're not gonna see just a few sprinkles, but nothing major. As we move into the weekend, Saturday and Sunday is gonna be a mixed bag. We will have a few sun rays, and we're gonna have some showers both Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The high Saturday about 78 degrees, and the overnight 66. Sunday, the high will be 75 degrees. 58 in the overnight and still some showers moving in. Uh on Monday. The highway 72 the overnight and fifty-three. Rain chances will be ramping up Monday. 50%. As we head back into the midweek, it'll be much funnier, but also chances of rain. When we get back into the studio, I'll have the latest updated weather for you. But just keep in mind if you're burning anything, fresh weed, whatever it might be, it's very dry out there. Make sure you have some water, some type of maybe a dry if you are burning a larger area.
SPEAKER_03I knew what I was both. Sometimes when I'm holding, you're supposed to be.
SPEAKER_06Now I'm free. I'll think of something. And I can't speak. And then what will I do to have that is no show? But I'll find out something I don't know how getting wrong.
SPEAKER_02Imagine you know, but I'm baby still. I'm going to live a town. You decide a little dozen dozen.
SPEAKER_12You need to call the professionals at Mobile Bay Public Safety Patrol. 251-264-249A. Mobile patrols, residential communities, schools, and churches, and businesses. Alarm response. SPEAKER_13You hear me brag often about all of the festivities and negativities that we have going on year round on the Gulf Coast. And I'll tell you what, this is the perfect time of the year. Beautiful weather. Not too hot, not too cool. April Twin Freddy. There's gonna be a lot of things so much more. Of course they have the flower festival. That's April the A gonna drop. April, that's the third. There's gonna be some cool man. Some food there's even gonna be some candy. Maybe even some candy. You can go to the eight long beach, you can go to the radish. People really love that. I like radishes. I might go. It's on Saturday, the April the 18th. From nine until two and long beach. You got nothing else to do. And of course, more things are coming up on the calendar. And we'll be bringing that to you on every single program.
SPEAKER_06You meet a girl in the bar the next thing. You get her laughing, it's too late. Selling your buttons. Three months in, she ain't moving in the next thing. You roll the park, y'all's new plates. There goes the carpet, but the deal hit stakes. Next thing you know, you save the money like never before. Just get it all out of store. Just pray she don't say. Next thing you know, your best man is a half-drunk speech. Some burn on a honeymoon beat. Let's face it next to that array. Two three. Next day, you know. Stay in the cry, you not gotta get it. I didn't have scared to death. Cause next thing you know we're frozen a funny word head. They're just saying how you doin' that day. Nobody's ever called you there. So next thing you know It's first steps, first dates, first cars 11. I'm wondering where they are. Just saying that they seats too far. It's amazing how fast they ever take me. Next thing you know. Next thing you know. Next day you know, get to know your eyes again. More love than you've ever been. With a lot of years, I've remained on the wind. Still sundown. Next thing you know, gotta your kids gave the church. Tell the stories every chance you get about how fast it's life down here.
SPEAKER_05You don't hold my dreams like you did before. Oh, and I will curse your name. Will I hurt the news? That you are back in town, just passing through.
SPEAKER_06There ain't nothing there. Check what you did there.
SPEAKER_05Stop and go and find a doubt.
SPEAKER_06Give another thought once the light the one straight door next big change of thinking.
SPEAKER_05But I ain't got a five for three. Tell me how it is justified.
SPEAKER_06Everything you did I know. Oh, and I've been around this road too many times for you. I think it's best to go. I got one thing left to stay. Do today and best today. Stop it, go to the time. Get another topic on the back to one slam back door. What do we do? That's the change of thinking. Oh, stop anymore. I thought by now I'd have it figured out how not to make the easy things so hard to do. I bet it I'd be further down this road. If I could read the signs that point me to the truth. Never planned on being nothing but a cowboy.
SPEAKER_09Somewhere I picked up the soul guitar.
SPEAKER_06All I can say is that I'm sorry. I get kind of careless with your heart. All the headlights, all the midnights, chasing all that empty, still ain't got it right. All them crazy, all them gypsy. I guess all I'm saying is forgive me if I don't know what I'm doing. I'm still learning to be healed. So far, I've been good at burning bridges. Strike a match and ride right out of town. Bless your heart from never trying to fix me. Quit me, slow me down. All the headlights, all the midnights, chasing all that empty, still ain't got a pride. All them crazy, all them gypsy. I guess all I'm saying is forgive me if I don't know what I'm doing. I'm still learning to be here. All the highways playing out long, rolling out of nowhere with the brakes off, all the crazy and the whiskey, waking up and wondering what hit me. Oh, forgive me, really don't know what I'm doing. Cause I'm still learning to be human. I'm still learning to be human.
SPEAKER_13Are you hiring are you looking for workers? All right now, you can advertise free Coastal Alabama Radio. Your job information, the type of information, the hours, and your kind of information. Absolutely free.
SPEAKER_08She looks about twenty-three. She's running my way with the angels, right next to Jesus. Yes, I slid up, staring at the living room ceiling. And with his last few breaths, he said, I wish you could see. Don't you cry for me? Cause I'm in God's glory, and I can see his face, it's amazing. I know you have doubts, but I see it right now. I promise it's a real key pain. That's the key way to tell me. On the other side On the other side. Better find a way to be up in the rafters. When I have you, grim baby. I got somebody good to name a matter. It's gonna be a lot of sadness, on a lot of happy days. I'll try to think of this moment in this place and he says Don't you cry for me? Cause I'm a God's body, and I can see his face, it's amazing. I know you have doubts, but I see it right now. I promise this real key. I'll be waiting for time for that stuff. Oh my god, it's too late. So healing. And I can see his face in some days. I know you have to see around.
SPEAKER_03I promise his way.
SPEAKER_06Then they rebuilt, talk about tough people. She was four years old when they got the news. It was in her little lungs, it was staged too. Mama spent every night by her bed, and daddy shaved his head. Talk about tough people. There were plenty of times she could have gave up, but she did. Now she falls like hell till she rang that bell in Memphis. There's a whole lot of bad in the world out there. Keep on finding when he thinks it gets too bad. Keep on getting back up when it comes. Keep on keeping your head on hackers. Hard work pays off, good beats evil, and tough times make tough people. It's a single mom working two jobs a day.
SPEAKER_17And a farmer barely getting by needing rain. It's a grandma waiting tables working through the thing. It's a cop on the call, running in coming home.
SPEAKER_06Cause a shooter's in the schoolhouse all day. Came back in a box with a flag on it.
SPEAKER_17It's home, don't it?
SPEAKER_06Talk about tough people.
unknownThere's a whole lot of bad things out there.
SPEAKER_06Oh, tick dog, don't think they're back. The family of people. Yes, y'all make some good people.
SPEAKER_13Well, I wasn't quite ready. I wasn't planning on that music segment to the end so soon. I mean, but it did, and I was in the middle of something. In fact, I was writing down a day for the year twenty thirty three. Remember, on the radio, you can do it.
