SPEAKER_08Well, you might call me a gambling man. I've never been afraid to roll the dice and take a chance on love. So when she caught my eye and Louisville the first Saturday in May. All it took was just one look at her to change my look. I knew I held the winning number when she wrote it down. And handed it to me and Gabe Wayne. Before the first gate opened, we were nowhere to be found. Just one thought of thank. Getting lucky in Kentucky. Stealing gets it sweet and true. Biggin before the clover time to meet that old women. Getting lucky in Kentucky, we're not missing me a poker now. Every Friday night. Wondering where I am and what I'm up to. Cause these days they know I've never missed a chance to hold a time. I bet the guys down at the extra card still are betting on me too. Big in the four leaf for over time. We won't do nothing wrong. They all think goodbye. Get in lucky and the ducky. Get in lucky and the ducky. Get the lucky and ducky and die.
SPEAKER_04Where are you going your eyes brought over? Who are you with when your mind and solder? Why is it cold when I'm on your shoulder? Who you think you foolin'? Baby, you ain't doing me no favour. Trying to put off the paper baby. Already written close to a face too.
SPEAKER_07And I'm going to stay on the city.
SPEAKER_10Steve, he's rumbling, bubbling, stumbling all over the place. And oh, that can't be good.
SPEAKER_00Look at that sloppy key action. That's gonna draw a penalty. Drinking, driving, possible$1,500 fine, and one year in jail.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, Steve, that was a good call by the ref. One bad decision totally changes the game. You know what just goes to show if you drink and you drive, nobody wins.
SPEAKER_13Slow down. Slow down and move over. And move over. Right. Slow down and move over.
SPEAKER_12Moment away. Over the uh past few months, maybe a little bit longer than that, we have talked about a brand new foundation that we have founded. Uh, my partners and I. It's called the Golf Coast Herald Foundation. It's a nonprofit incorporated right here in the state of Alabama. With this new uh program, we're gonna be assisting all of our first responders, whether that be fire, EMS, or law enforcement, when they are injured in the line of duty. And certainly if they have other crises, uh a few months ago we were on the scene of a police officer's home that was burnt down. Um that's the second time in the last uh year that a police officer's family's home has burned. And uh in situations like that, we're gonna be helping them out. We'll be telling you more about that. Uh press relief has already been sent out a while back, but we're gonna be sending another one coming up very shortly. If you'd like to get involved in that uh very special program, once again nonprofit, please contact helpdesk at bluermedia.com and we'll be able to get you uh some more information on things that you might be able to help out with. And um we also are gonna be starting uh kind of uh another little fight thing with this in there to refine to fire where firefighters are out there for hours sometimes without food or cold or hot drink. And um we're gonna be supplying that. We'll be on theme with them and making sure that they have rest and that they have uh you know fluid and food and things like that. Because I'll tell you what, uh I'm sure many of you never have been inside of a burning home or a building and and you just don't know, but it it's very hot. Uh it takes everything out of you, it takes a lot of strength and equipment at about 70 or 80 pounds in itself, and it's just uh wow, it's just something you just cannot imagine. But we're gonna be telling you more about that as well. Again, contact helpdesk at bluermedia.com if you'd like to get involved or donate once again. Like I said, we are a nonprofit. Contact us at helpdesk at bluermedia.com. We'll tell you how to do all of that, and uh, we'll have a brand new website coming up as well in the next few weeks.
SPEAKER_14Tomorrow I'm gonna leave here. I'm gonna let you go and walk away, like every day I said I would. And tomorrow I'm gonna listen to that voice of reason inside my head, telling me that we're no good.
SPEAKER_17But tonight I'm gonna give in one last time. Rock you strong in these arms and mine, forget all the regrets that are bound to follow We're like firing gas, lean I'm no good for you, you're no good for me.
SPEAKER_12We only bring each other tears and sorrow But tonight I'm gonna love you like this I'll be stronger I'm not gonna break down and call you up when my heart tries out for you And tomorrow you won't believe it But when I pass your house I won't stop No matter how bad I want to But tonight I'm gonna give in one last time Rock you strong these on the mind Forget all the regrets that are bound to follow We like I'm no good for you You know good for me We only bring to nine when we're good you know we're great But there's too much bad for us to play There's anything we were trying to say But tonight I'm gonna give him one last time Rock you strong in these arms and mine Forget all the regrets and are bound to follow We're like fire and dangeline I'm no good for you You're no good for me We only bring each other tears and sorrow But tonight I'm gonna love you like there's no Tomorrow I'm gonna leave here Yeah I'm gonna let you go and walk away like everything I said I would Your home for Christian country And now it's gonna be so good so beautiful Driving in the car or on the app Thanks for listening if he plays a guitar I'll be a good man Go to Alabama is all new Highway 98 Radio And once again this morning I'm sitting right here at our news and weather desk in the Blue Ram Media Studios And I've got your extended weather forecast like always and well it's kind of uh a little bit of a mixed bag, nothing severe, no huge storms, no gully whoppers, as they used to say, but for this Thursday morning, let's start with that. The high today is gonna be 84 degrees, and tonight, the overnight, it's gonna be pretty mild. 60, sunny most of the rest of today. About a flight maybe five to eight percent of the chance of any type of rain coming in our way today. But it is possible, you never know. Along the Gulf Coast, it could rain for five minutes and be sunny the next. So that's just how work. But as far ahead of tomorrow, again the high will once again be eighty degrees, and plenty of sunshine moving in through our area. Wind coming out of the east, southeast at about nine to twelve miles per hour or so. Not too bad. And it's gonna be mild humidity, about eighty-two percent. That's pretty high. And of course, the overnight's gonna be very mild, hardly cloudy, below around 55. Wind will be light and bearable. I mean it could blow this way or that way. For that Friday evening. Now, as we move into Saturday and Sunday, we've got nothing but partly cloudy and partly sunny. For Saturday and Sunday, the high will be around 81 degrees 70 in the overnight. Again, uh mostly sunny or partly cloudy, whichever way you want to call it. There's gonna be some clouds. We do have a slight chance of rain, about ten percent for each day. Wind coming out of the east, southeast, and about ten miles per hour on both days. Now, when we head back to the work week on Monday the 18th, we're looking at a very nice warm day, 82, 84 degrees. Wind coming out of the east-southeast at about 10 to 15 miles per hour. We will have a chance of a slight sprinkle. I'm not even saying a shower because it's only eight to ten percent. It will remain that way overnight, and the overnight hours, seventy-one degrees will be the low. But we still have that chance of a slight sprinkle, winds blowing from the east-southeast once again. Nine to twelve miles per hour. On Tuesday of next week, we're looking at eighty-two to be the high, sixty-nine the low, but we do have a higher chance of rain moving in next week. So we're looking at um eighteen to twenty percent on Tuesday. Wednesday will be partly cloudy. Some sunshine will definitely be there. It'll be eighty-one degrees for the daytime, seventy in the overnight, but once again the rain chances are a little bit higher. 28% for us. Wind blowing eight miles per hour from the southeast. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The temperature is high will be 82, 69 in the overnight. For Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, it'll be partly sunny and partly cloudy, whichever way you want to call it. Rain chance is around twenty five percent. Now, Sunday is when things really ramp up once again for us in the weather department, because Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, that's gonna be the 24, 25th, 26, 27, 28. We've got good chances of scattered thunderstorms. That means a little sunbreak here and there, thunderstorms in between, the high on all days, right around 82 degrees. Of course, I'm gonna have that extended weather forecast for you when we come back in the studio on Monday. That's the way it's looking for us here along the Gulf Coast for the next 10 to 12 days. Right now, you can advertise your business, your product, your company on all of the platforms of Blue Ram media. That includes radio shows, newsletters, and all of our social media. Hundreds and thousands of people collectively visit us every day, and now they can visit with you for just one hundred dollars a month and advertise your product, your business, your company, yourself.

At about 9.05 yesterday morning, the fire rekindled, and fire personnel were once again called out. That's on State Highway 181. And they have several other planned as well. Multiple flights will be added by a Legion and another airline may be coming in soon. A sixth man, Joseph Timmons 22, was found guilty of murder after he and the second man planned to kill Tristan Bohanan and they were charged with first-degree robbery and murder. They say they're also applying for a liquor license so that they can sell beer and liquor. That's your updated breaking news. Remember, send us any news tips at the news desk bluermedia.com.
SPEAKER_01Rip currents cause an estimated 100 deaths each year in the United States. In 2021, five of these deaths were on the Gulf Coast. Rip currents are the number one rudder-related killer at the beaches along the northern Gulf Coast. The number of rip current fatalities on these beaches is more than the fatalities of flooding, tornadoes, lightning, and tropical storms or hurricanes combined. Learn the facts. Before heading out to the beach, check current beach conditions and know what each flag means. Always swim near a lifeguard. Rip currents are narrow currents that flow away from the beach. If you notice you're being pulled away from the beach and are swimming and getting tired, you may be in a rip current. Think of it like a treadmill that you can't turn off. You want to step to the side of it. Don't swim against the current. Try to swim across it in a direction following the shoreline. Rip currents do not pull you under, but may take you as far out as a football field so people can tire quickly. The most important thing is to stay calm. If you can't escape the current, float or calmly tread water. Wave for help if you can. Rip current's strength eventually subsides and may even take you closer to shore. If you see someone caught in a rip current, call 911 or get a lifeguard and throw something that floats towards the victim. For more information, please visit www.visitalbeaches.com slash safety.
SPEAKER_15You turn the key, keep intending to Till I fade from your way. Your head to link straight away, crank your radio. Drop that hammer down to the floor. Just to see how fast you would smile. Think it out. We'll bring for the first time that I'll throw her back. Don't break that bow off my body. Turn it up.
SPEAKER_07Girl, tell my mama here, and I gotta go. He's waiting in the cut. Thus are the dreams of another re exchange. Nine miles an hour and a lovely dreams. Oh she could have only seen The fate's got cuts that it don't want to show. That boy is just a walk away, Joe. Born to be a leaver, tell you how we were true. Destined to deceive her, he's a wrong cat. She's gonna know it in a matter of time.
SPEAKER_12That boy is just a walk away true And just a little while to have a thing pulls into a station and it rubs it clean She's wet Underneath the Texaco She only wanna love and bargain for this She can't help but love for the wheels She's only sent And very easy So she ran this boy is just a bee battle Destiny to the sea babies She's gonna be still somewhere in the road alone on the sun she wakes up too soon and reaches for the home But she'll just keep reaching on the cold heart you revealed one and known That bow is just a walking wager Born to be a leaver tell you from the word Destin to deceiver He's a wrong and every day But it was just another lesson in life That bo was a wage All we want was the wage And as they said in most studios across the world, that's gonna do it for me. I think people say it even if they're not in the studio, but uh Yeah, we've got another show wrapped up here and uh we're so happy that so many of you are enjoying the new show. It's not really new. We've been here for about three and a half years now, so that's not new. We've got almost four hundred programs, yeah, yeah, four hundred almost in the books. And so thank you for listening. Please tell your friends, family, coworkers, and anyone else who will listen really all about the show. They can listen not only live but on demand on more than 40 platforms, and of course we're an iHeart Radio Station, and that just means you can listen streaming 24-7, even the first show that we've done is available to you, so yeah, that's pretty sweet, isn't it? Remember, no matter where you're driving on down the road, the interstate is the county road, the back road, your road, or as they call it there in Port Morgan, our road. Have you heard of that one? It's for real. Our road. Please remember, if you hear sirens see lights, you gotta pull to the right. For all emergency vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, and if they're on the side of the road, tow trucks, hook it up to somebody, you gotta pull to the left. As swiftly and safely as possible. Until the next time, y'all be blessed. Enjoy your weekend. We'll be back here on Monday morning, right here on the radio.
