Welcome to Little Bracket of Horrors. The pod that puts the fight in fright!
In this episode we do everything we can to avoid the sick demented grasp of Art the Clown. This 2018, Damien Leone movie is straight and to the point. You want gore? You got it. You want a twisted evil looing clown? Boom! Consider it done, buddy! I think that covers anything that you could ever want in a movie.
So join the LBOH crew as we duck, dive, and dodge our way away from Art. We wouldn't want to meet the same demise as our poor, Dawn. Regardless of her annoying selfie taking habits.
Welcome back. I'm Derek.
SPEAKER_02I'm Shelly.
SPEAKER_05And I am Matt. And we are little bracket of whores. It has been a while. We've had almost a month off or something. It's been a minute. And it's been a hot, it's been a hot month. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And a minute.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, there you go. Sentimental been a month. Got it. Yep, we all know that song. Beautiful. TikTok is wonderful.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, we all had vacations back to back to back and time with family.
SPEAKER_06So concerts, all that stuff. Yeah, concerts. Yeah. I would see Leonard Skinner. It's fucking awesome. I don't care.
SPEAKER_05Did uh was the were they reanimated from the dead theater? Yes, they were. Yeah, that's cool. I would go see that. Yeah. I would pay for that. Like Tupac? Yeah. Where Tupac came back?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, they were hologrammed it. Yeah. That was a great concert.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. But uh let's let's go ahead and kick it off how we always do. Uh you guys watch anything scary or anything scary happen?
SPEAKER_06I haven't had anything scary happen. I know we're getting ready to go to Halloween horror nights. Oh, yeah. I need to start watching the movies because they have those uh different homes, houses, I guess. Homes.
SPEAKER_02Little little haunted haunts.
SPEAKER_06Remember, I'm the new guy. So yeah, I'm look- I I need to watch some of the movies that are that are going to be displayed there.
SPEAKER_02So I was gonna say it's funny that you say that. I actually found a TikTok this morning on the Tic Tac and uh someone gave the order of what six music videos to watch for the weekend.
SPEAKER_05Oh, good, because I don't know any of his stuff. I actually like the weekend.
SPEAKER_02I know it's some of the songs that he referenced, like blinding lights, um because the the speculation is that the house will have six of his songs and they'll work through these music videos, which are kind of horror-related.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I know he had that concept album where it was like he was getting plastic surgery and it was just he performed at I think it was the last Super Bowl or the one before.
SPEAKER_02And he was at the end of the movie awards, I think.
SPEAKER_06Oh he wasn't the last Super Bowl, it was the Super Bowl previous to it. Okay, but yeah, cool. Because the last one was with Snoop Dogg and Eminem and the Show. Oh, yeah, the one that we just read. So it must have been the other one. Yeah, cool.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So I got that list this morning. So I plan on going through it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah. I know the Blum House is uh the Black Phone and then I think Freaky. Freaky.
SPEAKER_02Oh, and I had did say freaky. That's the one with Vince Vaughn, right? Yes, yeah.
SPEAKER_05I see that. I have not seen it? I've seen that, yeah. I I want to watch it just for reference. I have not seen Black Phone. Black phone.
SPEAKER_06Vince Vaughn's pretty funny too, so yeah, it should be it's probably like a core key.
SPEAKER_05It wasn't bad.
SPEAKER_02I mean, all the blum houses are usually pretty solid. Yeah. Except Happy Death Day 2. I can do without the one.
SPEAKER_05Alright, guys, let's get into it. First segment Dig Up Up the Bones. And this Matt just introduces the movie we watched and gives a brief little synopsis. So, Matt, take it away.
SPEAKER_06Alright, so Terrifier, it's uh it's a 2016 horror thriller slasher film. The runtime is about an hour and 22 minutes. Rotten Tomatoes gives it a whopping 60%. Uh, it was released in March 15th, 2018 by director Damien Leon. So it's starring David Howard Thornton, Thornton, sorry, as Art the Clown, Jenna Kennell as Tara Hayes, Samantha Scoffidi is Veronica, Katherine Cochran is Don, uh Katie McGuire as Monica Brown. There there's so this was the pr I guess this there's a couple a couple um terrifier, or not art the clown movies. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02There's like a short film, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Short film and then and then it was this. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05All Hollows Eve was just like an anthology. Yeah, he was in it, and uh then they did terrifier too and then terrifying out too is coming out as full.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, so yep, that's what I have. Hallows Eve was 2013, The Terrifier, 2016, and then The Terrifier 2, 2022. Yeah, music was by Paul Wiley, it was distributed by Dead Central Presents, an epic pitcher grow. I hope I said that right. All right. So the box office, I couldn't seem to find anything on the box office. I was really trying to look for I looked it up. Did you?
SPEAKER_05So this was made for 35,000.
SPEAKER_06It was made for so so yeah, that was the cost and the budget, but I wonder what the box office was.
SPEAKER_02I don't did it ever it never gross was to box office, I don't think.
SPEAKER_06Maybe that's why. Yeah, it never went to the theaters. I think it just released a streaming platform. I don't know.
SPEAKER_02I think it was more widely distributed. Like I think when it originally came out, it might have been on like Shutter and more like um, you know, top tier streaming services. Now it's just on like Tubi. Yeah, yeah. Which to me is in like is kind of like a mid-tier or lower tier. Sure.
SPEAKER_06Sounds about right.
SPEAKER_02There were tiers.
SPEAKER_06Sounds about right. I don't know, I couldn't see this being in an actual movie theater.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I don't think it was.
SPEAKER_06Anyways, I wish it was, right? So uh so yeah, yeah. The cost was uh was uh about 35. I think their budget was a hundred K, but their their cost was only 35. So good. Just makes you think you can actually make a movie.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_06There you go. So the uh Terrifier is about a crazy clown stalks and tries to kill three women in a wretched old apartment building on Halloween night. And that's it. That's it. That's it.
SPEAKER_05You got one line. That's it. That's all I got. What else is there? Uh uh so much, but anyways, we're gonna get into it. And our next segment called Feasting Fiends. And this we just discuss the topics of overall pros, overall cons in the movie, favorite lines, most enjoyable characters, and most annoying characters, and then we finish off with favorite kills slash scares.
SPEAKER_06So, Matt, you want to take the pros? Sure, why not? Um, so uh I thought this was a great slasher film. Haven't seen a lot of them, um, but I thought this was a good one. Um, I really liked uh Art the Clown as as kind of the mime sort of clown. Yeah. I mean I thought he did a really good job.
SPEAKER_05Well, it's funny because uh the guy who plays Art David, he has uh a background being mime. So he utilized that a lot that's all the character that he played.
SPEAKER_06Very cool, yeah. Very cool. So yeah, I just I just I just liked it. Again, the you know, wasn't I'm I'm big on backdrops and and the background and stuff. It was it was okay.
SPEAKER_05It wasn't anything stellar, but I thought that I thought that I don't know if it was if it was a lighting and stuff, but like it was very bold looking for being like independent. It wasn't really it it wasn't grainy. I thought the shots were like you know, colorful, yeah, and uh, you know, it kind of pulled you into into the story visually. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06The the different scenes in the in the apartment and stuff. I mean, you know, it was it was okay, just then like grab me. So yeah, that's but I guess that would be a con. So anyway.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so well, slow your roll. Yeah, slow down.
SPEAKER_05I just get excited, it's been so long. All right, Shelly, what about you? Pros.
SPEAKER_02So I first I need to start off by I um have met many of the people in this movie. Yep. Last October we had David and Damien and Jenna and Catherine all at Spooky Empire.
SPEAKER_06Oh, that's awesome. Very cool.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, don't tell any of them I've never seen it. So this was actually my first watch. I even did a live um during 2020. We got had David come on a live for Spooky Empire with um a great guy named Rick Rick Schraszinski. He went runs a shop called 13X Studios, and he's actually in Terrifier 2.
SPEAKER_05Oh, great.
SPEAKER_02So he's got a great relationship with the Terrifier family, and nice um, you know, I know one of their uh handlers slash managers, Jen, and uh she even saw that I never saw it and you know came for me a little bit. Um this was my first watch, and you know, I was pleasantly surprised. I had heard some gross things about it, but like to me it wasn't that bad.
SPEAKER_05Okay.
SPEAKER_02So um for pros, I definitely I said art all day. Um, he was fantastic to give a meme, non-talking killer clown so much personality. I thought it was a master class. Yeah, he's he didn't say a darn thing, but he showed everything in his face and he was the best actor of the whole thing.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I mean, and he said nothing, right?
SPEAKER_02Exactly. Uh big fan of the practical effects in the movie. Anytime they can do practical effects, yeah.
SPEAKER_06That's I think I think that's my favorite part. It's just yeah, it's very cool.
SPEAKER_02When you don't have to CJ CGI it and you can see the blood squirts and things getting cut, and it's just it's cool to me. And then I just for my third pro, I really enjoyed the whole pizza shop scene from the girls entering to art coming in, his expressions to two pizza dudes, and then to ultimately their demise. Yeah. I thought that was I thought that was a great little like whole segment of the movie. It was complete from start to finish.
SPEAKER_05I really enjoyed uh the part with Dawn when she was trying to take the selfie with them. That scene was cool.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and like they had some good jump scares during that scene um later on, you know, after the girls left. But uh yeah, so I really enjoyed the pizza scene. So those are my things.
SPEAKER_06No, that that I agree. The pizza shop was the best. Was the best I mean when they when he was killing the killing the uh the cook, yeah, it was like relentless. It was like not it wasn't just like slam dead, you know. That's it. No, there's a cut off the fingers, cut, you know, jabbing uh uh razor in the side of his face. It was just non-stop.
SPEAKER_02And then like the the bathroom scene too. Oh, the shit everywhere. What he did in the bathroom.
SPEAKER_05I could I could smell that scene.
SPEAKER_02I was like, oh, straight out of a haunted house.
SPEAKER_06I wonder why that was why that was in there. Like, was that just to like get they had to kick him out? Yeah, I guess so.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it was just or a reason to kick him out, yeah. They do.
SPEAKER_07Maybe that was it. But yeah, that loves to spread shit around. That's his thing.
SPEAKER_05But that scene that scene was what doesn't who is not drawing pictures on the wall with their shit?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_05Who does not go to a restaurant and doesn't smear their shit everywhere?
SPEAKER_02But uh guilty! Sorry, I'm totally kidding. I don't do it.
SPEAKER_05I like that we have to preface that. Oh, we're totally kidding. We don't like to smear shit. Like, what kind of world we do we live in? That's great. But that scene to just you know add to it, but that was a scene that when I first first watched this, it kicked it off for me where I was like, oh, they're not holding back. This is gonna be pretty gory and violent, and it made me excited for the rest of it. So, tip of the hat to that scene. Yeah, perfect. All right, so my pros. Uh for me, this movie is just candy where there's like there's not a lot of substance, there's not, you know, all these award-winning, you know, acting performances. Sure. It's just a scary-looking dude murdering these people in a violent way. Done. And I love it. That's it. And then I think I you know, I think there's a saying, and then the complete saying is keep it simple, stupid, give me all the sweet gore. There you go. But anyways, uh, and then just like Shelly, I enjoyed the practical effects, and I did enjoy um the music done by Paul Wiley. I just thought it was chaotic and bombastic enough to like you know, it was a violent, chaotic movie, so it really added to that and gave it that full feel. So music as well. Nice, I agree. So moving on, let's do cons. Shelly, got your cons?
SPEAKER_02I sure do. So, um, contrary to maybe some of what we said that we like, I thought there was a lot of lulls in the movie. Um, like when Tara goes into the building when after she uses the bathroom, then she's just like walking around the building. Yeah. Um, what are we doing? Yeah, what are we doing?
SPEAKER_05Did she uh did she realize that Dawn wasn't in the car? Did was it like a stream?
SPEAKER_02No, she heard something. No, she heard like a cat meow.
SPEAKER_05Oh, yeah, okay. Yeah, that's right. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But it just dragged. Oh yeah, let's get to the kills. Come on, what are we doing?
SPEAKER_06Well then that introduced the the cat lady. Crazy cat lady, literally the character. Yeah, that was but it yeah, I'm with you there. It was a lot of a lot of space in between meeting the cat lady. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um acting was 50-50 for me. It was not anything to write home about.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Uh I guess like I love art, obviously. Yeah, yeah. But like anyone who wasn't art just weren't like they just were blah. I could have probably done it.
SPEAKER_04Sure. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So it's just okay. And I thought the cutaways could have been a little bit more smooth, and I thought I actually thought the soundtrack wasn't soundtrack. Soundtrack.
SPEAKER_03Just Southern Dale.
SPEAKER_02I thought the cutaways could be a little bit more smooth, and the soundtrack was not memorable to me, actually. I don't remember the sound music at all.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, I I would have loved art to have like a theme song, kind of like you know, any killer like Freddie has like that dreamy music.
SPEAKER_05Daws had like when he's like coming in the scene and sneaking up. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I would have loved to have art. And maybe, maybe he did, and I just didn't catch it, but like to me, he didn't have like music to be like, oh, art's coming.
SPEAKER_06That's why, that's why you're the pro.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. That's such a great idea. That is a great point. That would have added something, but yeah, it was it was just that random noise music remote.
SPEAKER_02So and then my last con was there's no lines. No lines, there's literally no dialogue. Oh, yeah. And the dialogue that was there, it's hard to pick through. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. I uh, you know, there's a lot of like foreshadowing in some of the lines, but uh yeah, I'll I'll get into that when I get my favorite line. But Matt, what about you? What do you have for cons?
SPEAKER_06Did you are you are you? Yeah, I'm not good.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I'm good.
SPEAKER_06Um so I I've kind of given up on the acting ability on a lot of these horror movies. So that used to be one of my cons, was always like, well, the acting wasn't I I don't think I'm gonna find any stellar performance other than mother that we did uh you know, our last one. But yeah, the acting, I'm just okay, put that aside. Now I I loved art. I thought his his acting and his and his mind work was was amazing, but I almost felt like I wanted to hear his voice a little bit. Just one I know like a scream, like every time he got hurt, he just went, yeah, he just mimed his. I would have to hear a little scream. Yeah, it's something. I know it's but that's not it wasn't really like it wasn't that much of a con for me. But I mean, again, the performances, I just throw that to the wayside because I know I'm never gonna get a great performance. So so that was probably the only thing I really I really could think that was a con. Again, it was a slasher movie. There wasn't like I just blood right off like that's just what I wanted anyway. So I was actually uh you know happy with happy with everything else, other than just maybe say art ouch.
SPEAKER_05I don't know, maybe wouldn't he get stabbed in the toe or in the back or something?
SPEAKER_06Didn't he get it in the back too or something?
SPEAKER_05I think it was Mike the Exterminator or someone.
SPEAKER_03He got stabbed. I think she stabbed she stabbed him in the back. He stabbed a lot, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, he got stabbed in the in the lower rib. And then he got stabbed in the back, I thought, with uh with a piece of wood or something like that. Probably. Yeah, anyways. Yeah, he got some loving. So anyways, uh he got he got some loving too. All right, how about you, Derek? What are your cons there, buddy?
SPEAKER_05So my cons were I didn't like how uh with Tara, uh with Tara. Tara. What is the matter with you guys?
SPEAKER_02None of us can talk.
SPEAKER_07We got a southern bell over here, and I don't know what the hell you are.
SPEAKER_02Quick little fun story though.
SPEAKER_07Go ahead.
SPEAKER_02We were talking about this movie, me and a couple friends, and um the the one, my friend's fiance suddenly goes, Oh, you guys are watching turfer?
SPEAKER_03And we were like, what?
SPEAKER_02Excuse me, what? He's like, Yeah, turfer turfer. I'm like, you mean terrifier? So I gotta give him a hard time. Apparently, he thought there was like a syllable on the syllable or something. I don't know.
SPEAKER_03Interesting.
SPEAKER_02So he added an accent to it, and I'm like, no, nope, it is just terrifier.
SPEAKER_07There you go. Say that again?
SPEAKER_02Turfer?
SPEAKER_05Turfer.
SPEAKER_02So we've been we've been calling it terror.
SPEAKER_05Oh man. Turf. That was pretty good. Yeah, yeah. So uh Tara.
SPEAKER_02It's actually Lisa C's fiance that you can. I knew it. Oh, it was Jolly Roger.
SPEAKER_05Jolly Roger. I knew it. How dare. How dare. But uh, yeah, with with uh with Tara, uh he just all of a sudden busted out a gun. Like he had a bag full of toys. And like it from what we saw before that, he really liked working with his hands. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Now I see it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05See, I'm in it too. I'm in it. A lot of eye gouging. Yes. So I just thought it was kind of weird, and it took me out of it a little bit that he busted out a gun, but then he did go ballistic on her on her head with it eventually. Oh, yeah. So I was like, all right, at least he's still like sadistic and over the top with it. But I was just like, I did not enjoy the sudden gunplay.
SPEAKER_02I did think it was fucking hilarious when he did pull the gun out, and he was he, but he kind of was like, fuck this. This is getting too hard.
SPEAKER_03That's true.
SPEAKER_02Here's a gun, bam.
SPEAKER_07Boom. Fucking done with the face.
SPEAKER_02He literally made that face. He was like, Oh god, okay, fine.
SPEAKER_07Now I gotta use the gun. That's true.
SPEAKER_02You made me pull out the gun. Look what you've made me do.
SPEAKER_05That's awesome. Oh, but that was it. That was the only con. That was my only con. That was my only con. The gun. Yeah, the gun play.
SPEAKER_02So uh and I only watch the movie once. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05All right, so let's move on to favorite lines. I'm gonna give it to Shelly first.
SPEAKER_02Well, I get to go first because there's not many. Yes, there's like five.
SPEAKER_05All right, go ahead.
SPEAKER_02I usually go for meaningful lines. Obviously, I'm not gonna get that here.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So I went with what I thought was hilarious. And um, ET Roman goes, How can you eat a greasy croissant while you're cutting up dead bodies? And the coroner says, Sweetheart, I've been doing this 22 years, all right? Once you've seen an eight-month-old microwave to death, everything else is just old hat.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02A little bit of a visual there, but uh it was one of the best lines to me because there wasn't many to pick from.
SPEAKER_05I it was almost I almost grabbed that as one of mine, but I I chose a different one. But yeah, that was uh visually uh picturing that is uh pretty pretty uh sad and disgusting. All right, Matt, what about you, favorite?
SPEAKER_06All right, so this this has to do with the cat lady.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_06In her uh exchange with uh Mike the Exterminator. So uh Cat Lady goes, Yes, that's what I've been saying. You need to call the police right away because he's right downstairs and he's probably going to kill you too. If you don't get somebody down here right away, Mike the Exterminator says, What the fuck are you talking about? Cat Lady says, The clown with the white face and the little black hat, he thinks what he's doing is funny because he's laughing, but I know it's not funny because they're all dead. I just thought that was funny. I know it's not funny because they're dead. Oh, I guess so. I don't know. It's not stupid line. It's not funny because they're dead.
SPEAKER_02Well, there's no meaningful lines in this movie. Right, right.
SPEAKER_06So trying to yeah. So trying to trying to oh, and then Mike tells her to get the hell away or whatever. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, and then he gets bashed over the head.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah. Mike the exterminator. Turfer.
SPEAKER_05Turfer Turfer. And then turfer too is coming out later this year. How about you, Derek? What do you got? Alright, so mine was the scene between Don and Tara. Uh, this is uh after Don snaps a selfie with art in the pizzeria. And Tara and Tara says, uh, what the hell is wrong with you? And Don says, What? Did you think he was gonna hack me up into little pieces or something? Foreshadowing.
SPEAKER_04Foreshadowing.
SPEAKER_05Holy cow, Don. You have no idea what you're about to do. You have no idea. So that was my favorite line. Poor Don. Congrats. Yeah. I'm uh I'm doing the champion dance. I think it's a dance.
SPEAKER_06I don't know. You can make it a dance. It's an arm shake. I don't dance.
SPEAKER_05I don't move my hips. I just move my arms.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that's a better one. The wave with your arm. That's a good one. Snap.
SPEAKER_05But yeah, let's move on, guys. Uh, most enjoyable characters. Uh Shelly, go ahead.
SPEAKER_00I think we're all gonna have the same thing. I think it's the same thing. Yeah, really. So we are we gonna do that.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, it's just a one, two, three. One. Let's all talk at once. Oh, yeah. I like the all talking at once thing. That's always fun. But one, two, three.
SPEAKER_05Art the clown. That's right.
SPEAKER_02Art, obviously.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, he was so good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So, I mean, since we all have the most enjoyable, we could I could probably talk on and on about the things he did in this movie.
SPEAKER_04But please do.
SPEAKER_02Let's do our least favorite then. Okay. Because it's probably a little bit more meat.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Tara and Dawn.
SPEAKER_06Oh, Tara and Dawn. Okay, go ahead. So we had Tara in there.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I mean, I just thought they were flat. They were flat, no personality. Like the cat lady had more personality than both of them combined.
SPEAKER_07That's interesting. Cat lady was also a terrible actress, too. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But yeah. I also put the pizza guys as one of my favorite characters. I thought they were great. I really like the pizza scene. Yeah, the pizza wasn't good. But yeah, I had turned on. I just didn't think like even when she was in the chair strapped up, I was like, give me more, dude.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Anyways.
SPEAKER_05So I for actually most annoying character, I I wanted to say none because like in a film like this, even though like the acting is flat, they're all kind of the same. But it but they're all serving a purpose just to be mutilated. Right. Like that's that's what this movie is. It's for like any like You're just here for the gore.
SPEAKER_06I'm with you.
SPEAKER_05But I actually said if I had to choose, I would have chose the cat lady. I don't she didn't really bring anything to the movie other than to be have her her lady accessories cut up and utilized by art.
SPEAKER_02And that's all she needed to bring. And and and that she was justified.
SPEAKER_05But I was just like, before that happened, I was like, well, who is this lady and why is she here? So that was the only if I had to choose, I would have chose the cat lady. She just confused me and came out of nowhere. But what about you, Matt? Annoying?
SPEAKER_06I said Dawn. Dawn was annoying. Yeah, with the selfies and then she I mean party girl stuff. Yeah, right. I mean, again, acting in this is not superb. She fell in line with just about everyone else, I guess, but she was just that annoying friend that you're just like, shut, shut up. Like, just stop. Yeah. You're like you're making an ass of yourself. So that was all. All right. Uh, did we want to jump back to and talk about art at all?
SPEAKER_02I mean, I could go on and on. I mean, it's just great. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Do it. Do it. Yeah, let's go for it.
SPEAKER_02No, I mean, he just really was a great slasher.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. I think so.
SPEAKER_02Had it, you know, all the kills were different. He didn't keep killing someone the same way, obviously.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. With a gun. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But even when he didn't have like he had a gun and then he didn't, and it was still like he was finding different ways to kill these people. I mean, it was like he was relentless when it came to like trying to kill someone. Like he was gonna kill he was gonna make it happen.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So I just thought, all in all, very well-rounded character.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I agree. I think I think my my favorite thing about him was uh, you know, how he was a sadistic maniac and doing these brutal uh killings. But then like there was a lot of funny stuff because he would pull it, you know. So I thought like he was just so perfectly played and perfectly done that uh I just you know he he was the best. I just loved him and I'm I'm totally excited for Terrifier too to see what he does in it. Yeah. So that was I was just I loved him.
SPEAKER_06But Matt, yeah, what about you?
SPEAKER_05You want to add a little bit more to the art love?
SPEAKER_06Um no, I just again having I mean you could tell the guy the guy was talented with had some type of thing with the mime background or something. I mean, you know, I'm trying to think of uh of a a famous mime person, but I don't I don't know, a lot of famous mime. Like uh Charlie Chaplin. Charlie Chaplin.
SPEAKER_02I guess yeah.
SPEAKER_06I mean he was it was a lot of silent movie where it was just a lot of physical acting and stuff. Just like his facial expressions, and like you said, you know, his his like clown little like you know, smiling and waving his hands to his side, like we're like ta-da, like you know, that kind of stuff. I just thought it was really great. I mean, art did an awesome job, and like I said, for my cons, I said, you know, it would have been nice to hear his voice, but then maybe not, because then that would just ruin it.
SPEAKER_02So yeah, I mean the actual if you've ever got a chance to talk with David, yeah, you would not think he was art the clown. Yeah, he doesn't sound like he doesn't have like a super deep voice or anything. And I mean no like disrespect my sense, but like you would not match his voice to art in the least. Yeah, I mean not like that, it's not like that at all. It's not like that, but like you wouldn't think like I mean he's a tall guy, but yeah, just but his voice doesn't, he's a great guy, he's very nice. Yeah, um his but like if you heard him and then said like that's him, like it'd be hard to like correlate it, but yeah, which is great. I mean, it means that he did an amazing job.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. When I so I went to Spooky and I watched the Q ⁇ A, like he was hilarious, which made total sense that you know art had this like funny side to him with all the mime stuff. But there so there's like two scenes I wanted like to just highlight his clown abilities. But when he we when he was chasing uh Vicky at the end and he tried to grab her like hair through the uh through the door in the garage, and he just bust out his little clown horn out of nowhere and just goes. I was dying laughing. Yeah, and then also in the end of that scene, after he busts through the door with the truck and he's just sitting listening to like clown jazz, and he's just like clicking his fingers and just like doo-wapping the car. Yeah, like I I just loved it. Like he was such a maniac, but then like you know, he was a clown.
SPEAKER_06So, you know, just a high much love to art the clown.
SPEAKER_05Absolutely. So let's move on, guys. Favorite kills slash scares. Shelly, take it away.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so I really enjoyed Dawn's kill, and a lot of people said it was very graphic and gross, and you know, we we sawed through her punani.
SPEAKER_06Um straight down the middle, yeah. Right down the middle. Yeah, all the way.
SPEAKER_02He somehow with that rusty saw got through the skull somehow. I don't know.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it was a fast cut too. That pitch was sharp. Even though they're rusty tools, they're very sharp, very sharp.
SPEAKER_02Very sharp, rusty tools. So I really enjoyed that kill. As far as scare, I did get a jump scare when the pizza guy's hand got cut off. Oh, okay. It did like shock me. So that I did get one jump scare. Uh and I think there was another one in the pizza scene where I was like, oh, can't remember what it is now.
SPEAKER_05But when he got stabbed in the cheek with like that maybe that knife. Yeah, it was pretty good.
SPEAKER_06Uh yeah, yeah. Scalpel or whatever. But yeah, yeah, it was because it was relentless, like I was saying, it was like relentless. It wasn't just a cut the hand or he just kept going. He kept going with them all. Stabbing them different ways, yeah. Yeah, and like you said, the the practical practical effects in the movie is just it's it's awesome when you can see that just blood. It's not CGI, it's like it's there on them. That's that's awesome. I I liked it. I liked this slasher movie. I I thought it was really good. Yeah. Sorry, I didn't mean to step on you.
SPEAKER_02No, no, I was done. Go ahead. Why don't you go with your female scare?
SPEAKER_06Same, same thing when Dawn gets right down the middle. Um, I I mean it wasn't it wasn't like uh it was just cringing. It was like, oh, yeah, like you're just kind of like it wasn't a shock or anything like that, but it's just like, oh man, like just and watching her still, you know, wiggling and she's alive and stuff, and he's and he's going right down the middle. And then her entrails like plop on the floor. Yeah. Oh man, this is going on for a very long time. It was a lot, yeah. There was a it wasn't like a quick little thing, it was uh it was there was some duration to it. So yeah.
SPEAKER_05Oh yeah, and it was yeah, it was it was so good. But I actually so I chose uh for my favorite kill uh was the murder slash mutilation of the cat lady, and I just thought it was creative, not brand for art to scalper and cut off her boobies and like wear them and try. Oh, yeah, yeah. He tried to trick Vicky into thinking that she found, you know, Tara, but uh it was just it was funny to watch him waddle around.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so here's the thing.
SPEAKER_05He was talk to he was talk to, right?
SPEAKER_02I didn't I didn't well here's the thing I didn't note that one as a kill because you actually don't see the cat lady get killed. All you see is her skinned reaching for Vicky. Yeah, and then Vicky realizes there's someone else here who she he thought she thought it was terror. Yeah, yeah. And it was turfer, it was art in the movie Turfer. Um, it was art.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And and then he ideally buffalo bill the bigger. Buffalo bill is way, yeah. Like wearing a skin suit. Yeah. But then like me and my sister, we talked about it. We thought it was hilarious too, because he was like, Well, you can't see me, but the way he did waddle around.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it was like he was it was like he was tucked and he was buffalo billed.
SPEAKER_02That was a really skinny bottle body, excuse me.
SPEAKER_05It doesn't have childbearing hips, all right. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Let's rewind. It was a really skinny body, so I'm wondering if it was a female.
SPEAKER_06Oh.
SPEAKER_05But art's pretty, I mean, like he had a female body double in that in that scene.
SPEAKER_02I don't know.
SPEAKER_05Interesting.
SPEAKER_02And there's nothing, I mean, I didn't Google it to see anything.
SPEAKER_06I didn't see I didn't know.
SPEAKER_02I didn't see anything in trivia or facts.
SPEAKER_06Maybe they're not like when I when I looked through facts, there wasn't any really felt yeah, had curves.
SPEAKER_02And he's he's a pretty skinny dude. He's a skinny dude, but I think he wouldn't have like curves at his hips. Oh wow. I don't know.
SPEAKER_06I would have to if you ever if you ever uh meet him again, maybe you guys.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, we'll have to ask about the next panel at He was tucked. But I think that's that's fair to say that's not it necessarily a kill scene. Yeah. But I still like I just I had to talk about that scene. I just mentioned it after the fact.
SPEAKER_02If you didn't mention it, but I had a feeling someone was gonna say it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Great, great. All right. I say we move on to Finland Cut. In this, I just reveal the ending of the film, and then we discuss and give it ratings of one to five stabs. One stab, atrocious, no redeeming value, waste of time. Two stabs, bad, forgettable, poorly done, three stabs, mixed feelings, mediocre, okay. Four stabs, good, interesting, enjoyable, and then five stabs, masterpiece, excellent, perfect. So Vicky, Tara's sister, shows up to pick up Tara and Don, but enters the building when she can't find them outside. Upon calling Don's phone and hearing it ring from the basement, she investigates and finds Dawn still hanging by her feet, cut in half from joy trail or gaunch to her head, depending on if you're a New York ripper or a ginger snaps fan. Horrified, she runs away only to hear a woman scream from another part of the building. And she finds what she believes is an injured Terra on the floor. But it's actually Art who has severely mutilated the cat lady and is wearing her lady accessories. Art attacks Vicki, but she runs and hides in a shitty cabinet. Art finds her and torments her in the cabinet, and he only leaves when Mike's co-worker Will shows up and honks the truck horn.
SPEAKER_07Beep beep Thank you for that.
SPEAKER_05Finds Will, and decapitates him in an extremely gnarly manner. With Art distracted, Vicky leaves her shitty cabinet fortress and tries to escape while Art decides to take a little spin on his tiny little clown bike. The Catmask game continues, and Art finds and attacks her with some plastic wrap to suffocate her, and Vicky, showing her superwoman strength, rips it and stabs Art in the foot with a spike. Fleeing, Vicky finds Tara vandalized and dead. Crying and sobbing on the floor, we see Art, surprisingly, sneak up on with a makeshift cat of nine tails, but Mike arrives and suddenly knocks out Art unconscious with his bug exterminator backpack. The two flee and call 911, but before they can escape, Art appears and kills Mike by smashing in his skull with his big goofy clown shoes. Vicky retreats into a garage and Art rams through the door with a pickup truck, causing further injury to Vicky. As she lies helpless, Art begins to eat her face. Police arrive, but Art shoots himself in the mouth with a gun before the officers can apprehend him. Art's body is taken to a morgue along with the bodies of the deceased victims, and when the medical examiner unzips Art's body bag, Art reanimates and strangles him to death. One year later, Vicky is released from the hospital after her rehabilitation from the injuries inflicted by Art, and she is revealed to be the severely disfigured woman from the film's opening scene that killed the superficial news anchor. She was she was so mutilated in the face. She looked like uh what was the silence of lambs dude that was all cut up in the face?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I don't know, but he shocked like that guy.
SPEAKER_06Was that Anthony Hopkins?
SPEAKER_01No, she was another guy that he was a victim of Anthony Hopkins.
SPEAKER_06That sounds like what the hell's her name from the movie.
SPEAKER_05Oh, uh Clarice? No, yeah, but Jodie Foster.
SPEAKER_01No, but there's an old No, there's another guy that talks like Dash.
SPEAKER_05Also sounds like Caitlin Jenner. A little bit. Yeah, perfect.
SPEAKER_01She's got a completely mundicated face.
SPEAKER_05Actually, it sounds like South Park's uh version of Caitlyn Jenner.
SPEAKER_01And Jodie Foster comes to visit him to learn why Hannibal had done that to him.
SPEAKER_07Nice job. Acting!
unknownI'm an actor!
SPEAKER_05Desbian. So yeah, that was the end of the movie. How did you guys feel about the ending?
SPEAKER_02Okay, so like I don't know if they played in All Hollows Eve, but like there was no indication that this was a supernatural being.
SPEAKER_05Right, right. He he did in in All Hollows Eve, he he did break like the third wall a little bit and come out of the story that he was in.
SPEAKER_02But they don't tell like there's no indication except like this guy keeps getting stabbed and he's fine. Also, he fucking blew his brains out.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And his face isn't even like mutilated. Maybe he wears a mask now, kind of like Jason Forheys.
SPEAKER_05Maybe just the back side has got a tiny little hole in it.
SPEAKER_02So so on uh like if you stick a gun in your mouth, like just the brains, or I think that's I don't think about the logistics of blowing your brains out.
SPEAKER_06We need to talk to a coroner to figure that one out. So um in I so on my uh on my fun facts, um, I found in uh All Hallows Eve, it was made clear throughout the film that Art the Clown was supernatural and not just a human in a clown suit. It's not clear in this film until the end that art has some suit supernatural presence. So I guess in all Hallows Eve, it there's some I've never seen it, so I don't know.
SPEAKER_05But there's no indication in this before that because it's all very much you know what's happening in present time is what's going on. There's no one there's nothing, you know, anywhere else.
SPEAKER_02And unless you're like an indie fan of Damien Leon's and know about all Hallows Eve, yeah, there like maybe like maybe that's another pro or con is like you could have like maybe set up or gave us a little backstory of art.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I don't know, maybe you thought it was cool to have him just reanimate like he did, and now we're on to Terrifier 2, turfer too.
SPEAKER_06Turfer, turfer.
SPEAKER_02But anyways, uh yeah, I just to me I was like that it's not possible. He's dead. Yeah, but I knew as soon as we went to the coroners that something would happen, obviously. Yeah, we don't need to do this, like yeah.
SPEAKER_06Why are we why are we following where the where the uh villain bodies go? Yeah, okay, there's something gonna happen, right?
SPEAKER_05How did you feel about like I g I guess it was kind of a surprise that uh Vicky was the girl from the beginning who was a good thing? Oh, I knew that is easy.
SPEAKER_02I knew yeah, I knew it was a preface. Yeah, I figured that out pretty quickly.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I didn't think Vicky would be the final girl. I I kind of figured it might be Tara for a minute that she was the girl in the beginning. Yeah, but then as soon as Tara died, obviously now I need a new final girl. Yeah, right. And I knew I knew it was gonna be Vicky.
SPEAKER_06So so another one thing I found is a spoiler, and it says that at the beginning of the film in Monica's dressing room, there's a sign which reads, The end is just a new beginning. This is a foreshadowing, the ending revealing that this first scene in fact takes place after all the other events depicted in the film.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_06And that the unnamed deformed girl being interviewed is the final girl uh Victoria, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Right, and I and I figured that out too with and I read that fact as well. But like as soon as we went to the girls walking down the street in their Halloween costumes, I was like, I knew enough about the movie to know that the someone had to be that girl from the first shot, and they're clearly fine right now.
SPEAKER_06So I was surprised that that um Tara Tara, right. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I thought I thought that she was gonna be like the final, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02We all do, yeah.
SPEAKER_06I I thought I'm like, well, she's gonna be, but no, I was like, oh my gosh, it's well when you have random guns, you can really just kill someone.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah, when you have that ability.
SPEAKER_02Watch her kill, actually, we didn't talk about this, but the blood went out of her head.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, being shot in the head with a gun.
SPEAKER_02And then we were like, does that actually happen to be a shot in the head? But the blood the blood was like blah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. That's a sound main. Uh, you guys ready for stabs? Let's do it. Stabby stabs. Maddie, give us your stabby. Stabby Maddie. Stabby Maddie. That's gonna be your podcast nickname, stabby.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, stabby Maddie. Um that's uh that's my new horror movie coming out with it in 2026. Who's playing you? You. You're playing me.
SPEAKER_05I'm a terrible actor. Dun dun dun. Shooting for the stars for the stars, right?
SPEAKER_06And uh Shelly's gonna be the uh the final girl. I'm the final girl.
SPEAKER_05Sick.
SPEAKER_06Sick, bruh. Yeah. I don't know yet. I haven't written it.
SPEAKER_02I gotta No, it's called Stabby Maddie. It's just gonna be run around stabbing people.
SPEAKER_03They're gonna play the packet.
SPEAKER_07That's it. Yeah, packet.
SPEAKER_02Just stab and I'm going.
SPEAKER_06Um so I I liked I liked it. I um I thought it was great. I mean, you know, it it is what it is. It wasn't like some phenomenal acting movie or anything like that, but um, we've gone through that. I wanted to give it more, um, but but I'm still waiting for something a little bit better. So I gave it a 3.5.
SPEAKER_05A 3.5?
SPEAKER_063.5.
SPEAKER_05That point is so the period is so crucial.
SPEAKER_0635, you're giving it a 35.
SPEAKER_0135 versus 3.
SPEAKER_0635. Yeah. So I gave it a 3.5 just because I I liked it a lot, but I I'm sure there's something better out there. I thought Art the Clown was amazing. Um, I actually want to go and check out the other ones, so I'm I'm gonna do that.
SPEAKER_05All Hall of Ziv is is available on TV. It's I actually I feel it's it's a strong contender for me to be better than terrifier. Oh, really? But it's also like an anthology, so there's a lot of different stuff going on. And it's it's it's a cool setup. So I would check it out. I'll check it out for sure. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Shade. Shade. I as well gave it 3.5 word nice. Uh it was better than mediocre, and I think that is better than mediocre. Thanks to art. Um thanks to art, yeah. It loses some for overall where it could have be better, but I mean a close four. I'm a close four. Yeah, yeah. 3.9. Can I give it a 3.9?
SPEAKER_05Does that why not? What's what's the deal? If we're giving 3.5s, what's a 3.9? All right. It's a good flow.
SPEAKER_07Slightly better than a 3.5, only not as good as a 4.0.
SPEAKER_05We're not quite a 4-4. 3.9. But yeah. So for me, it was just solid B. There you go. Yeah, there you go. But uh, for me, it was just, you know, a solid, gory movie with a great scary character, like I said in the beginning. And, you know, they kept it simple. I wasn't looking for too much in it, so I gave it four stabs. Nice. Okay, so that's it. Next up is Voices from Beyond. But in this Shelly just goes through uh our social media posts and shares your guys' uh thoughts on the film. So, Shelly, take it away.
SPEAKER_02Yes, as always, you can find us on the Facebook and Instagram under our name of our podcast, Little Bracket of Horrors. Alright, so we have our voices from Beyond, as always. We kick it off with Lisa C. Now, I know I said I love slasher movies, but this is just way over the top. Plot was okay. The actor who played Art the Clown did a very good job being creepy as hell. The chainsaw scene, somehow I think maybe she needs to watch this again. Chainsaw because she thought it was a chainsaw. Hacksaw.
SPEAKER_06Was she watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre? Maybe.
SPEAKER_02Maybe.
SPEAKER_06Oh, Lisa.
SPEAKER_02The chainsaw scene just did me in. I give it a two and a half out of five. Now, can you please pull high tension already?
SPEAKER_05I agree a hundred percent.
SPEAKER_04All right, go ahead.
SPEAKER_02Courtney L said yes. If I remember correctly, the acting was kind of cheesy, but art and his torture killing scenes were super disturbing. I met David Howard Thornton at Spooky. He was so nice, so it all balances out, I guess. I don't know. LOL.
SPEAKER_07I don't know.
SPEAKER_03Thanks, Courtney. That's pretty great. That's cool. That's great.
SPEAKER_02Um, Corey Kay said didn't care for it, but there was a moment that I loved. It was the scene where the clown pulls out a gun from nowhere.
SPEAKER_03I couldn't stop laughing. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we have to agree there. Sherry F. Last night I finally watched Terrifier. Terrifer. I can't help myself. Sherry F. Uh, last night I finally watched Terrifier for the first time. Well, I was not actually terrified, I was highly amused. I give props to the director writer for trying to go old school slasher, but it just fell flat. What I did enjoy was art and his silly antics. Legit funny when he crushed in the guy's head and cracked himself up. And Buffalo Bill art is a mood.
SPEAKER_05Yes. Yes.
SPEAKER_02Which we didn't even talk about the scene where he does stomp on the exterminator's head.
SPEAKER_05I I I just talked about a tiny in the end in the uh in the final cut. But yeah, that was a that was a great kill.
SPEAKER_02But then Art just like sat there and mimed laughed his head off while Vicky's standing there, like, what the fuck? Yeah. But yeah, great scene. So those are our voices from Ron. Thanks, everybody. As always, we love your comments. Keep them coming. We love to hear from you.
SPEAKER_05Thank you very much. Thank you guys. Matt, you got any more interesting stuff you want to talk about? I got a couple things.
SPEAKER_02Please give us some fun facts, Matt.
SPEAKER_06So I don't know if you knew this or not. Do tell. But the ambulance that drives past Dawn and she's listening to the radio broadcast in the car was unplanned. Uh Jenna, who played uh Tara, insisted on remaining tied up in between takes of the scene so that she would feel psychologically as if she were tied up when filming. Oh, and that's murdering.
SPEAKER_02Did you yeah, I read the IMDV facts as well, Matt. Hey, come on.
SPEAKER_05We're doing it so people don't have to.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, so you already mentioned how it was based off of the short film Terrifier from 2011. Well, uh the jack-o' lantern shown in the pizza parlor is CGI.
SPEAKER_05You said Jack O'Lantern.
SPEAKER_06Jack O'Lantern. Just shut the fuck up and let me finish this. Stuff. Anyways, Damien put it on there because he wanted it to seem more Halloweeny ish.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay. Well, and and to his point, I it's not until like the coroner says like it's Halloween night or something like that. Does someone actually mention it's Halloween? Yeah. Um I don't think the girls even mention a Halloween radio.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. On the radio. Maybe in the radio it says when they're talking about someone is out killing wearing a clown outfit.
SPEAKER_06But that was that was after the she was in the yeah.
SPEAKER_05It was when uh Vicky was coming to pick up the girls. Yeah. But that's when it was like, hey, it's Halloween night.
SPEAKER_06So yeah. Yeah. And then the pizza scene too, it wasn't even originally supposed to be at a at a uh pizza joint. Supposed to be at a burger joint because he didn't realize the two actresses were vegetarian. Yeah, they're vegetarians.
SPEAKER_02So they couldn't eat burgers. Yeah. Well, I mean, they could have made them veggies. But I I appreciate that. This is true.
SPEAKER_06But I I I appreciate that for days. I think that's cool. They could have gone to Burger King and got the what a burger. The Impossible Whopper Burger. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Impossible Whopper.
SPEAKER_06And uh uh Jenna also had uh two doubles for the film. So that's two double cheeseburgers. Two double cheeseburgers, no onions, no onions.
SPEAKER_02And I want to say, Jenna, if I remember correctly, has since shaved her head. So when she was at the convention, it was seeing her in the movie. I was like, oh gosh, yeah, you look completely different with hair.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So yeah.
SPEAKER_06So that's it. That's all I got for uh fun. For fun facts. That's awesome.
SPEAKER_05Good job. It's time to move on to wheel. And this Matt's gonna spin the wheel for the movie that we'll be watching next. But before we do that, we need to read off the list of current movies and pick from the Frankenstein Monster hat. So we have to replace Terrifier for the Turfer. Turfer first. Turfer's gotta go. So Shelly, dig in there.
SPEAKER_07Get in that bag. Get in that bag. Get in there. Get in the bag. Get it in the bag, Shelly.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Alright, I got something.
SPEAKER_07Just got a movie. Oh boy.
SPEAKER_02I got something. What are we doing? City of the Dead. City? Supernatural. City of the Dead. 1961.
SPEAKER_051961. 61, Derek? 1961. It's a if this is what I think it is. I think I've seen this. It's the year you were born. What?
SPEAKER_02I'm a grandmother.
SPEAKER_05So do you have it replaced on the wheel mat?
SPEAKER_06Yes, I do.
SPEAKER_05And then uh go ahead and Rita Suffer. Alright.
SPEAKER_06Alright. So we got the Cabin in the Wood, Itchy the Killer. I did it. You did it that time. High tension. Knight of the Living Dead. The newly entered City of the Dead. Wolf Cop, Sinister, Tucker and Dale, Nasferatu, and Thirst. Thirst. Perfect. Alright. So let us let us chant. Let us chant to the wheel of death. Let us chant to the Almighty Wheel of Death.
SPEAKER_02Wheel of Death. Wheel of Death. Wheel of Death.
SPEAKER_06So the Great Wheel has spoken, and we shall be watching Sinister.
SPEAKER_01Sinister.
SPEAKER_06Sinister. It's a sinister. So let's see Sinister, maybe.
SPEAKER_05Where Sinister is showing.
SPEAKER_02On it.
SPEAKER_06Showing it somewhere on a TV.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna say Tubi. This has got the great Ethan Hawk in it. Ooh. We love us some Ethan Hawk. And I think the the bad guy is called the Boogeyman.
SPEAKER_02Ooh, so this is a hard one. It looks like it is currently not really streaming anywhere. You can rent it, or it looks like it might be on Peacock if you have a Peacock subscription.
SPEAKER_06Ooh, hooray for me.
SPEAKER_05I think yeah, so I have a peacock, Peacock subscription. And Derek's password is so if everybody would like to watch So if if you guys have Peacock, you can watch it there. But yeah, that looks it looks like But it looks pretty cheap to rent.
SPEAKER_02If you do want to join us or you've seen it before, maybe you can buy it on Amazon.
SPEAKER_06But it's it's also on Disney Plus.
SPEAKER_02It's a dollar ninety-nine to rent on Apple. So like you want to do it.
SPEAKER_06Stop being a bunch of cheap bastards and just watch the name. It's much sinister.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_06I was just kidding about Disney, by the way.
SPEAKER_05It's not on there.
SPEAKER_02I wish.
SPEAKER_05So our next episode is going to be dropping August 31st. SPEAKER_05Because what are those what are those things that I guess like news anchors do like to get themselves ready? Like they exercise warm up your tongue. Yeah, they get it ready. Whatever those are called, that's that's one of those.
SPEAKER_02Baby boys bouncing.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. The human torch was denied a bank loan. Wait, I don't think that was.
SPEAKER_02Milk was a bad choice.
SPEAKER_06Alright, so time out. My name is Matt, and I'm here to say I love little bracket horse in a major way. And sometimes we just hang around and get groovy. Charlie's not talking to me. I'm reading an article. I'm just kidding. Lisa, do I need to pay attention to you while you're talking about it? Yeah, please. I needed I'm a lead singer of a band. Of course I need attention. Please. Did you get your wawa there? I did. I sim ma wa wa i sim ma wa wa i sim ma wa wa i s. That's that was an Ian. Ian song. We used to do that. Because he would say my water. Because he would say, Can I have ice in my wawa? So we would go i sim wa wa i sim ma wa wa i and then we would do Ian Ian I-A-N, Ian, Ian, I and we didn't do it.
SPEAKER_05It wasn't like that quick. E- I'd be a N. I got okay. Get her. I'm trying to hurry it up because you're so we at the beginning we we burnt through about four minutes of just fucking off.
SPEAKER_06And now we're burning another five. Yeah, but we're at 37. I'm just kidding.
SPEAKER_05So we're we're like, you know.
SPEAKER_06Alright, can you bring yourself back to that? What do you mean? Get like get yourself to where you're gonna read that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I'll just I'll give you a nod when it stop doing that. I'll start reading that. That was delicious. Let me get some water again. Look, look, look, look, look, look. I'm Derek. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_07Don't do that ever again. Alright. I have to wait for you to stop laughing. I was just gonna be like, hey everybody, I'm Derek. I'm gonna I'm gonna be you. What? It'll throw them off. They'll think that I'm you. Stop. Because I do a great impression of you.
SPEAKER_06Stop. Fucking read it. Alright. What do you want to do? Any fun facts?
SPEAKER_02Well, that's didn't you run through? You have more? You ran through and that's after that.
SPEAKER_06That's right. I have the schedule in front of me. I've got I've got to fix mine. No, wait. So yeah. No, I I have it right. I'm an asshole. That's all. I have Shelly's comments. You have it written, you're an asshole. You are Shelly's comment. Matt, why are you an asshole?
SPEAKER_05I'm so sorry.
SPEAKER_02It's fine.
SPEAKER_06Stop it.
SPEAKER_02It's fine. It's like I'm not even here.
SPEAKER_06All right, Shelly, what do you got?
SPEAKER_05Hold on. I gotta do the thing.
