PALM SUNDAY…the day Christ rode into Jerusalem on a donkey knowing he would be headed to the cross by the end of the week. Many would praise him on that Sunday 2000 years ago, but by the end of the week would be yelling “Crucify him!”…Why?
Because they missed the reason Jesus was riding in!… He was coming to set them free…not free from Roman oppression…but free from the penalty of sin, free from the bondage of sin and free to live a life transformed by his grace!
Paul tells us in Titus that Grace justifies (saves) us, but it also sanctifies (changes) us!…it teaches us to live godly in this present age, so therefore grace is on display!
Jesus rode in to set us free, so now a healthy church and its people are empowered and driven by grace to live it out!
