In this episode, we welcomed back Dr. Jose Ramirez, recently appointed Chief Academic Officer and Provost of SJSM. Dr. Ramirez shared with us some reasons why medical students struggle in the program, particularly in the Basic Science part of the program. We also discuss what the school has done recently to improve the quality of education. Finally, Dr. Ramirez offers some great suggestions and brings up several tools students can use to be successful in their studies.
