Fälschermuseum,"},{"startTime":53.58,"endTime":56.84,"body":"which translates as the"},{"startTime":53.58,"endTime":56.84,"body":"Museum of Art Director of the Cultural Heritage"},{"startTime":236.44,"endTime":239.5,"body":"Protection and Security at"},{"startTime":236.44,"endTime":239.5,"body":"the Victoria \u0026 Albert Museum."},{"startTime":239.5,"endTime":242.115,"body":"He was absolutely fascinating,"},{"startTime":239.5,"endTime":242.115,"body":"as you can imagine."},{"startTime":242.115,"endTime":244.25,"body":"But what he was saying was that"},{"startTime":244.25,"endTime":248.07,"body":"actually these forgers invest more time"},{"startTime":248.07,"endTime":250.641,"body":"in fabricating all the documents"},{"startTime":250.641,"endTime":252.75,"body":"that they will need to prove"},{"startTime":252.75,"endTime":254.63,"body":"that a Picasso is a Picasso,"},{"startTime":254.63,"endTime":257.36,"body":"than they do sometimes the"},{"startTime":254.63,"endTime":257.36,"body":"actual paintings themselves."},{"startTime":257.36,"endTime":260.99,"body":"And they often forge the documents explaining"},{"startTime":275.75,"endTime":279.147,"body":"was that fakes don't exist on their own."},{"startTime":279.147,"endTime":281.92,"body":"One fake always leads to another fake,"},{"startTime":281.92,"endTime":285.663,"body":"because in order to have"},{"startTime":281.92,"endTime":285.663,"body":"really good documents"},{"startTime":285.663,"endTime":287.96,"body":"to support a fake painting"},{"startTime":287.96,"endTime":290.09,"body":"you need to have access"},{"startTime":287.96,"endTime":290.09,"body":"to whole ecosystems"},{"startTime":290.09,"endTime":292.66,"body":"of people who can"},{"startTime":290.09,"endTime":292.66,"body":"produce fake letterheads,"},{"startTime":292.66,"endTime":295.58,"body":"and so they often exist alongside"},{"startTime":295.58,"endTime":297.56,"body":"lots of other fakes."},{"startTime":297.56,"endTime":300.22,"body":"But what's really fascinating"},{"startTime":297.56,"endTime":300.22,"body":"is that these forgers,"},{"startTime":300.22,"endTime":302.26,"body":"they become kind of experts"},{"startTime":302.26,"endTime":304.66,"body":"at delivering the kinds of evidence"},{"startTime":304.66,"endTime":307.14,"body":"that they think that experts want to see."},{"startTime":307.14,"endTime":309.69,"body":"And I found this really"},{"startTime":307.14,"endTime":309.69,"body":"interesting to learn about."},{"startTime":309.69,"endTime":312.2,"body":"So what we know is that"},{"startTime":312.2,"endTime":315.3,"body":"some experts might"},{"startTime":312.2,"endTime":315.3,"body":"prefer official documents"},{"startTime":315.3,"endTime":317.31,"body":"from the University of Oxford."},{"startTime":317.31,"endTime":319.523,"body":"And so forgers will spend a lot of time"},{"startTime":319.523,"endTime":322.23,"body":"investing in the right types of paper,"},{"startTime":322.23,"endTime":323.24,"body":"the right type of ink,"},{"startTime":323.24,"endTime":324.54,"body":"to be able to forge that,"},{"startTime":324.54,"endTime":327.29,"body":"even before they even start"},{"startTime":324.54,"endTime":327.29,"body":"looking at the painting."},{"startTime":327.29,"endTime":329.582,"body":"So what we start to see is a kind be"},{"startTime":2193.423,"endTime":2197.26,"body":"seen to require governments"},{"startTime":2197.26,"endTime":2200.27,"body":"who are really seen to protect the
