meeting in Dubai, where countries have agreed to contribute to a fund to pay"},{"startTime":201.734,"endTime":211.565,"body":"for loss and damage due to climate change."},{"startTime":212.305,"endTime":217.309,"body":"Um, which of course raises the question of how do we tell what is loss"},{"startTime":217.309,"endTime":219.645,"body":"and damage that's due were very lucky we didn't actually end up getting flooding flooded, but, um, plenty"},{"startTime":283.499,"endTime":284.565,"body":"of neighbor neighbors Coursely Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society."},{"startTime":409.165,"endTime":414.285,"body":"And they were talking about another wet winter that occurred in, uh, uh, 1415."},{"startTime":414.905,"endTime":419.031,"body":"Um, and they, this is a quote from the paper, an explanation which has been"},{"startTime":419.031,"endTime":419.306,"body":"most readily accepted by the general public Gresham audiences of the time, for example, um,"},{"startTime":419.306,"endTime":427.285,"body":"and even found favor among a few meteorologists, is the heavy artillery firing in France."},{"startTime":427.905,"endTime":431.805,"body":"Um, and Flanders is the primary cause of the unusual wetness of the winter."},{"startTime":432.385,"endTime":437.645,"body":"So people have looked for explanations for, um, weather events since time immemorial."},{"startTime":437.745,"endTime":441.805,"body":"And of course, if you go further back, you can find that, um, parole led"},{"startTime":441.805,"endTime":442.075,"body":"with ii uh, basically lost the support of the population because of a famine, which"},{"startTime":442.075,"endTime":449.925,"body":"was blamed on
