wars"},{"startTime":266.06,"endTime":268.83,"body":"of the 1970s and 1980s,"},{"startTime":268.83,"endTime":270.01,"body":"in which what we have"},{"startTime":270.01,"endTime":273.16,"body":"is we have these"},{"startTime":270.01,"endTime":273.16,"body":"anti-pornography feminists"},{"startTime":273.16,"endTime":276.03,"body":"being pitted against pru pornography,"},{"startTime":276.03,"endTime":280.74,"body":"now commonly referred"},{"startTime":276.03,"endTime":280.74,"body":"to as sex-positive ones."},{"startTime":280.74,"endTime":282.883,"body":"This assumes that had historically,"},{"startTime":282.883,"endTime":287.883,"body":"specific form of pornography"},{"startTime":282.883,"endTime":287.883,"body":"that arose in the 1970s"},{"startTime":288.89,"endTime":292.81,"body":"is the standard by which all"},{"startTime":288.89,"endTime":292.81,"body":"pornography across the ages"},{"startTime":292.81,"endTime":294.64,"body":"should be judged."},{"startTime":294.64,"endTime":298.28,"body":"It assumes that pornography"},{"startTime":294.64,"endTime":298.28,"body":"as it was produced"},{"startTime":298.28,"endTime":302.35,"body":"and consumed in largely"},{"startTime":298.28,"endTime":302.35,"body":"white middle class,"},{"startTime":302.35,"endTime":306.72,"body":"heterosexual America in"},{"startTime":302.35,"endTime":306.72,"body":"the 1970s and the 1980s"},{"startTime":306.72,"endTime":310.66,"body":"with its profoundly misogynist outlook,"},{"startTime":310.66,"endTime":314.73,"body":"is the universal model of the genre."},{"startTime":314.73,"endTime":316.81,"body":"On the contrary, what I"},{"startTime":314.73,"endTime":316.81,"body":"want to do in this talk"},{"startTime":316.81,"endTime":319.7,"body":"is to draw attention to periods of history"},{"startTime":319.7,"endTime":322.44,"body":"and minority genres of smart"},{"startTime":322.44,"endTime":326.08,"body":"that are receptive to a more pornography is the"},{"startTime":409.4,"endTime":413.38,"body":"explicit description"},{"startTime":413.38,"endTime":417.06,"body":"or depiction of sexual organs or practices"},{"startTime":417.06,"endTime":421.76,"body":"with the intention of"},{"startTime":417.06,"endTime":421.76,"body":"arousing sexual Swan."},{"startTime":448.3,"endTime":452.01,"body":"The woman's vulva and breasts"},{"startTime":448.3,"endTime":452.01,"body":"are clearly on display"},{"startTime":452.01,"endTime":457.01,"body":"and Swan's long phallic neck"},{"startTime":452.01,"endTime":457.01,"body":"is poised to penetrate her."},{"startTime":457.4,"endTime":462.09,"body":"Would the painting be art"},{"startTime":457.4,"endTime":462.09,"body":"when viewed in a gallery"},{"startTime":462.09,"endTime":466.16,"body":"or pornography when tacked"},{"startTime":462.09,"endTime":466.16,"body":"to the wall of a Brotham?"},{"startTime":466.16,"endTime":468.343,"body":"I mean, clearly context
