From Abuse & Addiction to Magazine CEO and Entrepreneur w/ George Rojas

       Welcome back to The Truth About Addiction! In today's episode, I interview founder of Amare Magazine, George Rojas, to uncover how he ended up as CEO of a successful magazine after living a life of crime, abuse and drug addiction. Rojas has overcome so many obstacles in his life, including both mental and sexual abuse as well as drug addiction. At rock bottom, George had a divine intervention and saw that there was a way out of the pain. He credits this moment to his unwavering spiritual connection in a power greater than him and a fierce love for his mother. After a profound moment of clarity, he decided to change his life and focus on empowering others through this platform. In his magazine and life, it is his mission to shine a light on new and upcoming artists, entrepreneurs, and businesses.

      Rojas is now living a life of service and his mission is to help others fulfill their own purpose in life. He currently serves on the board of directors for Vive Recovery Centers, and is the VP of a new publication called Serenity Wellness Magazine. He has created a business model that allows professionals to expand their network. grow their social media, and work with the best advertisers and investors possible.  George is passionate about connecting people and creating change within his community.
