2 Corinthians 1:22 NKJV says: “Who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.”
The Holy Spirit is available to work in you and through you, and for others because you care. You have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, hopefully and prayerfully. And if you haven’t, you can right now. But if you have, have compassion on those who have not yet believed. And pray for them. Go to them with God’s glorious Gospel. It is God who has “sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.” Have you ever bought something, and they said, “This is guaranteed,” and you wonder how much it is really guaranteed? How strong is the guarantee? How reliable is the guarantee? Well, this guarantee is a promise directly from God. The Holy Spirit in our hearts as believers makes us available to serve the Lord effectively, and consistently, if we will pray, read God’s Word, and go with others to those who need to know the Lord. Will you do this? God’s Holy Spirit works in the hearts of believers.
