BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

Listen to a very complex Scripture. 2 Corinthians 2:15 NKJV: “For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved, and among those who are perishing.” 

Complex? Here’s why: To the Christians, we smell good. To the unsaved, we stink. Because, you see, God makes the difference. And every person’s heart determines whether or not they have believed. And if they haven’t, we don’t smell very good to them. But if they have, then they identify with God’s wonderful fragrance as believers in Christ. And so we need to help people understand that everyone who believes on Christ can smell good, once they too have turned to Jesus from their sins, believed on Him, and told other people about Him. I’m sure there are people in your world in both categories. So whatever you do, be a fragrance that can be used by God for people who need to know Him, and a blessing to those who already know Him. God can make you usable, if you are willing. So stay close to the Lord, stay in His Word, pray consistently. Read the Word of God. Heed the Word of God. Take the Word of God to people who need to know Him whom to know aright is life eternal. Smell good.
