Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ

Colossians 3:14 NKJV says: “But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”

The Bible says God is love. And remember the great verse that more people know than any other New Testament scripture is John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” And this is above all things. This is the love that God bestowed, allowing His Son Jesus Christ to be born of the Virgin Mary, to live perfectly, to be tempted but never to yield to the temptation, so that we can have the bond of perfection when we put on the love of God, and when we present God’s love to others and let them know that God sent His Son to live perfectly and then to die, to be buried and to rise again. And now we, by believing on Him, can share our faith in Him with others who do not yet know Him, but who could know Him if someone would tell them how.
