Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ

Listen carefully to Romans 6:9 NKJV: “Knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.” 

What a wonderful promise that is. You know and I know that Christ died for our sins. He was buried, and He rose again on the third day. And He’s coming back. But as we look at this scripture, as we examine these words from God’s Word, let’s one more time reflect on what the Bible says. Knowing – not hoping, not guessing – knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more.  Death no longer has dominion over Him. What a tremendous promise that is. What a great thing it is to know that God is indeed working in the hearts and minds of every person, every individual who will turn to Him from sin. Who will be willing to share their faith in Him with their family, with their friends, with their world. Yes, it’s a wonderful promise. Christ did die. He was buried. And He rose again. And so because of that, death no longer has dominion over Him. He conquered death once and for all, not only for Himself, but for you and for every other person who will turn from sin to Him, and receive the gift of God eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
