Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ

“Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him.” Romans 6:8 NKJV

What a wonderful promise. What a wonderful hope for every one of us who have turned to Jesus from our sins, who have opened our hearts to Him, who have followed Him, and who have been willing to share our trust, our faith, our belief in Him with those who do not yet know Him, but who could if they would know how … that they should just admit they’ve sinned, believe on the Lord Jesus, and tell their world about Him. What about you? Are you telling other people how to get to heaven? Are you allowing this truth to really penetrate you? Let me repeat it one more time from Romans 6:8: “Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him.” Dying with Christ doesn’t mean that we’ve got to be put on a cross. What it means is that we will apply the death, the burial, and the resurrection of the Lord Jesus in every possible way, and that we will die to self, die to sin, and live abundantly because of the life that is ours in Jesus Christ as personal Savior. I hope that’s happened to you. If it has, wonderful! If it hasn’t, you can do it right now. So let Jesus come into your heart.
