Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ

2 Corinthians 10:14 has a pertinent proposition for you and for me. Listen: “For we are not overextending ourselves, as though our authority did not extend to you, for was to you that we came with the gospel of Christ.”

And that’s what we do every single day: we come to you with God’s glorious Gospel. It’s an open door and a privilege to present the truth – God’s truth from His Word. So today, whoever you are, whatever your circumstance might be, understand that God loves you and He wants you love Him back. How? By first of all, admitting that you have a need. You are a sinner. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. So God wants you to admit that you’ve sinned, to turn to Him from your sins, to receive from Him the gift of God eternal life, when you believe on the Lord Jesus. And then He wants you to tell people. To confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, believing in your heart that God did indeed raise Him from the dead. Will you do that? You can, and this brand new year can be the greatest year of your entire life. There are people waiting for someone like you to tell the truth. Let them know who Jesus is, and that they by believing on Him can live, not just for now, but forever. It would be a wonderful thing for you to begin this year telling people about Jesus.
