Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ

“For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy.” 2 Timothy 3:2 NKJV

That’s Paul’s letter, his second letter, to his son in the ministry, Timothy. He’s letting him know the difficulties that are surrounding him, and now in turn, you and me. Lovers of themselves – do you know anybody like that? Lovers of money – are there people in your world that have that circumstance? Boasters – know anybody that says, “here I am, you lucky people”? Proud – “Oh, I can do it. Just tell me what you need and I’ll take care of it.” Blasphemers – those who say the Bible doesn’t count, it’s not real, and on it goes. Disobedient to parents – this is a lifelong set of circumstances for people that need to do better, and need to turn their lives around and obey their parents. Unthankful – know anybody who doesn’t say thanks when they should? Unholy – know anybody who’s doing some things that they shouldn’t? God will forgive if we ask for forgiveness and turn to His Son Jesus Christ.
