Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ

Listen to John 6:40 NKJV: “And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up the last day.”

That’s God’s Word. It’s a promise. It’s something that you and I need to understand. God says wonderful things in His Word that give us guidance and direction and instructions. Listen again: “And this is the will of Him who sent Me.”  Jesus is speaking. “That everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life.” And then after that promise: “And I will raise him up at that last day.” “Him” meaning you and me, and others who have believed or will believe on the Lord Jesus. God loves you. Jesus lived perfectly, born of the Virgin Mary, fathered by God, tempted but never yielded, preached, taught, touched, and promised that He’s coming again. Today can be the day of salvation for you, and for whomever will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and be willing to confess Him before others. It’s a very precise formula: Admit you’ve sinned. Believe on Christ. Tell others about Him. God loves you. Jesus died so you could live.
