Joshua Picklesimer, sports writer for the Bell Ringer, is joined by special guest AU cross-country Coach Jacob Burgamy and Bell Ringer sports editor Carlos Rodriguez and Communication student Patrick Motes on this edition of The Sports Squad. They talk about the AU women and men's cross country teams' season-opening meet in Spartanburg, S.C., on Friday, Sept. 1. season. The men are picked to finish first and the women second in the Peach Belt Conference. Picklesimer also leads a discussion of the AU volleyball team, picked to win the PBC, and the Atlanta Braves, who will travel to Los Angeles to play the Dodgers for a four-game set this weekend in an NL showdown.
