Joshua Picklesimer, sports writer for the Bell Ringer, is joined by sports editor Carlos Rodriguez and sports writers Rachel Carman and Patrick Motes on this edition of The Sports Squad. The special guest is Avery Jaynes, AU's outstanding cross-country runner who was named Peach Belt Runner of the Week after his performance at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Ala. The Squad also talks about the AU volleyball team, which swept three games in the PBC/Gulf South Crossover last weekend, and the women's golf team, which played in the Badger Invitational in Wisconsin. They'll also talk college football and MLB. The Sports Squad is a production of Augusta University’s Department of Communication and Bell Ringer-Phoenix Media.
