On this edition of The Sports Squad, Bell Ringer Editor in Chief Rodrigo Burgos Avila teams up with co-hosts Sara Adams and Lauren Nelson to recap a massive night for Augusta University basketball, as both the men's and women's teams pulled off statement wins over North Georgia. On the women's side, AU took down a higher-ranked conference opponent in what stands as one of the biggest wins in program history, while the men delivered a huge upset over a No. 24-ranked North Georgia team. From there, the conversation expands to D-l college basketball on both men's and women's sides, breaking down mid-majors and what it takes to make the jump from the D-ll level. The episode closes with NBA talk, touching on the All-Star selections, declining viewership for the All-Star weekend, and potential solutions for the league moving forward.
