In each Wellness Musketeers podcast , we cut through the confusion surrounding health and wellness issues to uncover what truly helps us live a better life . I'm really happy to introduce Pearl Kubell , your guide on a transformative journey of the mind . As a certified yoga instructor who completed the Life Power Yoga Teacher Training Program developed by Johnny Kest , Pearl brings a deep understanding of the healing power of yoga to her soothing yoga nidra sessions . Nidra , meaning conscious yogic sleep , is a guided meditation practice that takes you to deep relaxation while remaining fully aware . Through her skillful guidance and compassionate presence , Pearl invites you to release tension , find inner peace and awaken your true potential . Thank you for being here with me . My name is Pearl and I am here to share with you a 15-minute yoga nidra practice to strengthen your self-love , forgiveness and acceptance . You are invited now to take a comfortable position , lying on your back . You may wish to do so on a cozy couch , a soft recliner or , more traditionally , on a yoga mat . You may consider using a pillow like it prop , or perhaps a bolster underneath your knees to maintain a comfortable position throughout your practice . As your yoga nidra practice begins to deepen , you may notice that these props will no longer serve you . Until then , please make yourself comfortable with all the support you need the raptus . There will be moments of comfort and of discomfort . Welcome all these sensations as a messenger and allow them to move through you , acknowledging their presence without judgment or resistance . Remember that during all states of consciousness , the abundant benefit of yoga nidra will be received and that throughout this experience , there will be pauses for breath and reflection throughout the journey . Before we continue on Now , let's take three natural breaths together Inhale through your nose . Exhale side out of your mouth . Inhale and exhale . Breathe in and breathe out Throughout this practice . Wherever there is a pause , let your attention come back to your natural breath . There is no need to change anything . Yoga tells us that we are exactly where we're supposed to be and exactly how we're supposed to be . So be as you are , while remaining awake during this practice is your choice .

I encourage you to explore the power of conscious awareness as you navigate the depths of this experience . Trust that you are fully supported by the Earth beneath you , feel her gentle embrace like a cozy cocoon , grounding and nurturing you with every breath . Allow yourself to sink deeper into this sanctuary where warmth and comfort abound . Embrace this sacred space as a refuge of acceptance . Release any expectations or self-judgment and simply be as you are . You are perfect in your essence , worthy of love and forgiveness . All these words should resonate deep within you . Allow these words to resonate deeply within you , soothing any wounds and kindling the frame of self-compassion that resides in your heart . As we journey through this yoga and intro practice together , know that you are held in a space of unconditional love and tenderness . May you discover the beauty and strength that lies within , and may you emerge from this experience with a renewed sense of self-love , forgiveness and acceptance . To begin , gently , bring your attention to your breath and observe the quality of your breath without judgment . Resist the urge to change it in any way . Notice is it short or deep , hired or soft , loud or quiet , slow or sad . Notice these things as a loving obsession . Yoga teaches us that we are exactly where we're supposed to be and exactly who we're supposed to be . There is no other way Our journey begins . Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a mass and ancient forest . As you open your eyes in your mind's eye , take in the magnificent sight of towering trees stretching towards the heavens . Notice how the sunlight filters through the dense foliage , casting a gentle glow over the forest floor . Feel a sense of pain and reverence for the wisdom and strength held within these woods . Now shift your attention to your sense of touch . Feel the coolness of the earth beneath your feet , as if you were standing on a carpet of moss and falling lead . Sense the grounding energy rising up through the soles of your feet , connecting you to the nurturing embrace of the earth . Allow yourself to feel supported , knowing that the earth wields you in her loving arm . Bring your attention to your breath . Let's take three breaths together here Inhale , exhale .

Inhale , exhale , breathe in and out as you stand in this forest . Become aware of the soft , whispering breath rushing against your skin . Feel the delicate caress as it rustles through the lead , creating a symphony of natural sound . Let the breeze carry away any residual tension or negative , leaving you feeling lighter and more at peace In this tranquil setting . Let your sense of smell awake . Breathe in deeply and take in the rich , earthy fragrance of the forest . Allow the scent to envelop , awakening your intuition and deepening your connection to your inner wisdom . With each breath , feel yourself becoming more attuned to your authentic self . Embrace all parts of who you truly are as you continue to breathe . Draw your attention to the sound that's around you . Listen to the melodies of the forest the gentle chirping of bird , distant rustle of animals lying through the undergrowth , and perhaps a soothing baffle of a nearby street .

These sounds are a reminder that life is ever slowing and you are part of this beautiful tapestry of existence . Let peace sounds quiet your mind , allowing a deep sense of serenity to wash over you . Now turn your attention inward , wish luck on your journey and the choices you've made in the past . Recognize that everything you did was an act of survival driven by the circumstances and challenges you face . Understand that you did what you needed to do at the time and release any lingering feelings of shame or guilt . Visualize a warm , golden light radiating from the core of the earth , rising up and enveloping you in its gentle embrace Feelers . Light permeate every cell of your body , serving and healing any wounds . As you bathe in this healing light , allow forgiveness to flow through you , washing away any self-judgment . Embrace yourself with compassion behind them , knowing that you are deserving of love and forgiveness . Let's take three breaths together Breathe in and out . Breathe in and out . In and out .

Now imagine the serene , crystal clear stream flowing by . Approach it and nail down , dipping your hands into the water . Feel its corners against your skin . Cop your hands , allowing the water to collect within them . Hold this one , infusing it with your intention to forgive and accept yourself unconditionally . As you release the water back into the stream , you should merge with the current , symbolizing your willingness to reach God and lose . Take a few moments to bask in the healing energy of self-forgiveness and acceptance . Allow this energy to permeate every aspect of your being , from deep within your soul all the way to the surface of your physical body . Know that you have the power to release the burdens of the past and embrace a future filled with self-love and acceptance . Let's breathe together and fit through three breaths Inhale and exhale .

As you stand by the stream , take a moment to reflect on the lessons you have learned from your past experiences , guys , that each choice , whether perceived as right or wrong , has contributed to your growth and resilience . Allow yourself to feel gratitude for the strength and wisdom that has emerged from those moments . Now imagine the vibrant colors of the forest surrounding you . Notice the various shades of green , warm hues of sunlight and the vibrant outflowers that dot the landscape . Let these colors symbolize the richness and diversity of your life journey , embracing both the light and dark moments to equal reverence . Extend your wings to your sense of taste . July's a nourishing fruit or herb appearing before you . Take a bite or sip , nourishing it . Flavor , allowing it to represent the sweetness , soft forgiveness and excitement .
