NXspectations vs reality
Jul 29, 2016
This week there is talk around the decline of Xbox One popularity in retail and an upsurge in Ubisoft digital sales. Unfortunately for Ubisoft, this doesn't mean that Vivendi is backing off from it's slow approach to takeover the publisher. Nintendo stock seems to be dropping back to more reasonable levels as investors discover that the video game manufacturer was not directly responsible for Pokemon GO's launch and success. It also comes out that the app has a higher-than-average rejection rate in the USA. CDPR wants to go cross-platform, but Sony is standing in the way and it's also that time of the year where Sean keeps everyone up to speed on the Dota 2 The International prize pool. The latter part of the show means lots of talk about NX rumors and the probability of Windows bullying Steam out of games sales in the future. All this and more on the latest episode of Press Pass!
