Press Pass - Toxic pirates
Jul 28, 2014
With Marc absent this week, Sean leads Kyle and Anton in talks about the week's big gaming news points. First up, there are some complaints about how Destiny's beta was opened to the public instead of the smaller group of those who had pre-ordered the title. GameStop is also offering extra trade-in credit for The Last of Us when upgrading to the PS4 version. Next, BioWare has teased a new IP with what looks like horror elements and the crew muses about it. Microsoft seems to be interested in VR now, too, with FOVE landing in its sights. Riot Games also made the agenda with its upgraded zero-tolerance policy for toxic players. Crytek's business problems (and its explanations) also drew some attention from our crew while they end the show with discussion about Britain's decision to decriminalize video game piracy.
