Welcome to the Z Michelson Travel Podcast. This podcast is devoted to the travel industry. Z says let your imagination run wild and start dreaming about where you want to go. And dream big, reach for the stars, and if you only get to the moon, at least you enjoyed the trip.
SPEAKER_02Hey, it's Z. Michelson here, and I am sitting here poolside with Mr. Jay Lawrence, who just recently returned from a local trip at Disney World. And all of the fun things that Disney has to offer. Hey Jay, how's it going?
SPEAKER_03Well, you when you say all the things Disney has to offer. You only use a little of it. I would yes. I would be so thin by that time. Speaking of the thin, you know, that the weekend I was there was the one of those running weekends.
SPEAKER_02Oh, it's a marathon.
SPEAKER_03Marathon weekend. And part of the family that I go with, uh, they run in the marathons.
SPEAKER_02Oh, cool. My daughter's father-in-law and her brother-in-law run in the marathons as well.
SPEAKER_03Did they run together?
SPEAKER_02I uh they run together, and but they don't they weren't in this last one. They usually come down in the January cold months.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So did you go see the running?
SPEAKER_03Are you kidding me? They have to get up at three in the morning to the starting gate at the Ebcot parking lot, and they're running in the dark.
SPEAKER_02They are, yeah. Yeah, they're running the dark through the parks.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Over Glendale.
SPEAKER_03I'm thinking about doing the half marathon.
SPEAKER_02So are you training now?
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, I'm in training.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03Of walking.
SPEAKER_02Oh, you're gonna walk the marathon and not run.
DVC Stay At Wilderness Lodge
SPEAKER_03They have walkers, I guess. And you can do it, and but you gotta watch out for the trash lady in the back. Because if the trash lady catches up with you, they kick you out, put you on a bus, and take you back to the starting, I guess.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I didn't know about that.
SPEAKER_03I can't remember who I heard that from, but someone was telling me about that.
SPEAKER_02It's the end of the line type of thing.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02And of course, what did you do there if you didn't go see the truth?
SPEAKER_03We went over on a Thursday. Okay. You know, we live close enough to we we're close enough to Disney that you know, we could drop in anytime. Right, we're locals, but we're there Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03So we got there on on Thursday and we were staying at a DVC resort.
SPEAKER_02Did the vacation club?
SPEAKER_03They DVC Vacation Club with at and we were at the Wilderness Lodge. Oh Copper Creek. Lodge attached to the lodge, the lodge, yes, three buildings down. Where that's where we're at. Yeah, we didn't stay in the cabins. I guess the cabins on the lake, you know. Have you seen those cabins? I have 400 points a night or something. It's ridiculous. So yeah. So we weren't quite set for that.
SPEAKER_02So that's where you went.
Boat To Magic Kingdom Just For The Ride
SPEAKER_03But we were at Copper Creek, yeah. And so uh uh the Thursday, my wife and I we got there and we kind of walked around and got on a boat and took a boat ride over to the Magic Kingdom.
SPEAKER_02So you took the boat to the Magic Kingdom, yeah. Okay, how was the boat ride?
SPEAKER_03Oh, it was phenomenal.
SPEAKER_02Was it long? Was it short? Was it a big boat?
SPEAKER_03It's like 15 uh minutes uh to get to get there. Okay, and yeah, it was just it was a beautiful day. Had a beautiful weekend to get to go there, so it's not exactly a Florida day. You know, it's beautiful.
SPEAKER_02Beautiful, a beautiful day was probably a nice little breeze blowing, not too hot, not too cold.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and so we got to the Magic Kingdom. They said, All ashore, going ashore. Well, we weren't going to the Magic Kingdom, so we stayed on the boat and went back to Wilderness Lodge.
SPEAKER_02So we just kind of did a boat ride. Did a boat ride to enjoy the boat ride.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, my wife loves to be on the boat, so hey, get her on a boat is meant. And you know, have you seen the fact that they're actually running big boats from Wilderness Lodge to no, I haven't seen it.
SPEAKER_02So the Magic King is it the size of the ferries that they yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Wow, and I don't know where they got the ferry, I don't know where that got that, but uh so they're running big boats. So we get back to Wilderness Lodge, and it's basically time to relax, you know. And so we went to the Geyser Bar, Geyser Grill and Bar, which have the little geyser coming out. Well, no, it's it's over there, but you know, you can see Bay Lake, and it's a nice setting.
SPEAKER_02Okay. So it sounds like you went to Disney to relax.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely.
SPEAKER_02Not many people go to Disney to relax. Usually when they go to Disney, they run, running, running.
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah, and I hate to say, you know, that's part of the problem.
SPEAKER_02Right. With you know, that uh you and your wife have passes, so you don't have to do the running, running, running.
SPEAKER_03Running, running, right, right. And like you said, there's so many things to be done.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_03Like you can't do everything in one day.
SPEAKER_02So that's what you did on day one?
SPEAKER_03Day one was Thursday, kind of relaxed, just kind of group it up.
SPEAKER_02Okay. So uh Right, because you were going with her her daughters, yes, and the children, yes, kids, yes, and that's fun.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so Friday morning, I woke up and discovered that oh my goodness, I forgot my medications.
SPEAKER_02Well, can easily go home, but well, exactly.
Epcot Day: Figment And Crowds
SPEAKER_03That's exactly what I did. It's an hour, it was an hour drive for it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03So they went, they ended up going to uh Ebcot.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_03Without you, without me. Okay, can you believe it? They went without me. Mo, but I'm bummed. So I run back and I I have to catch up with them, but they're in the magic cake, not the magic king. They were actually in Epcot and Imagineering.
SPEAKER_02Oh, so that's where you caught up with them back if he back at the Epcot.
SPEAKER_03And so we've got to see Figment and and it's a cute little show. The greatest thing was I've gone on that several times lately, and there's been no line, you know, like like walk right on. This time you had to wait. Wow. There was a line, it was so exciting because you got to wait, and the show was so much better.
SPEAKER_02Really? I can't imagine more. But you know, you went on this now. How were the crowds at Disney?
SPEAKER_03Yes, there were crowds there.
SPEAKER_02Yes, there were crowds.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Of course, they were doing the wine and cheese festival or whatever that's what that was going on at the time.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03So uh on Friday it wasn't as bad as it was on Saturday.
SPEAKER_02Right. Usually the weekends are extremely crowded.
SPEAKER_03Right, right.
SPEAKER_02Um, they also have they don't they call lightning passes now or something similar to that, but you do have to pay for those.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Uh which is a little different from what people might have remembered.
SPEAKER_03Text passes. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So these are a little bit different. You do pay extra and then you get on. Hey, bug. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_02Um, so usually when I go to Disney, if the line is more than an hour, I move on somewhere else. Now, what about you guys?
Music In UK Pavilion And Americana
SPEAKER_03Well, that's what we do too. Okay, we look at those kind of things. So we went, uh you know, one thing I have to do when I go to EBCOT is to see the American exhibit. You gotta go see the American and I always get teary-eyed. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02It's the same, it's the show that I've seen all the time, but I always get teary-eyed anyway.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Oh Merrick, oh Merrick. Yeah. So we also, uh, my brother-in-law and I, we uh is it my brother-in-law or my son-in-law? Son-in-law. We actually I shared wife's daughter's husband. Yes. I I got a I had a beer and we went to the uh England. Oh, you went to England, where there's a band concert area. You know, and we saw a a band, I don't remember their name, and it was a good show, and so we enjoyed that. And then we then we did the American exhibit, right? And then you got to tell me what the band name was. I think you're talking about who say it was so you've seen them the biggest rock show I have ever seen in my life.
SPEAKER_02You know, you're not a rock and roller, Jay, so I'm surprised you went.
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah, it was fun. Yeah, it was fun, yeah. And the band said, We can't believe we've been here four years in a row.
SPEAKER_02Wow. Yeah, they come every year. Now we are getting closer to the holiday season. Were they starting to decorate for the holidays while you came there?
SPEAKER_03No, we were still in the holiday of uh Halloween. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02We were still in the Halloween time frame.
SPEAKER_03Thank you for reminding me. I'll go back next week and we'll see the holiday.
SPEAKER_02I always used to love in Epcot this the Christmas stories where you went from country to country of how they celebrate the holiday.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_02I always thought that was fun.
SPEAKER_03Well, you should do a podcast on that.
SPEAKER_02I should do a podcast on it if I ever get back there again. So now tell me, you went to Epcot, you've seen uh the bands, you've seen your things. Did you eat there? What you know, what did you what did you eat?
SPEAKER_03Boy, that's a good question. I think we went back to the Geyser Grill.
SPEAKER_02So you went back.
SPEAKER_03Geyser Grill keeps coming up.
SPEAKER_02Oh you like that place.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. No, we didn't need an Epcot. That's that's a definite.
SPEAKER_02Okay. So that was like on I'm surprised you didn't need an Epcot because that my husband loves Germany.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02When we go, he loves to eat in Germany. It is a buffet style, but it is kind of like a beer garden type of thing where you sit at the table with other people, and it's a very friendly atmosphere.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. But I I got uh in England, I got a new beer.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, the name of the beer?
SPEAKER_03Harp. H-A-R-P.
SPEAKER_02HARP beer. And how did you like it? Was it a light beer? A dog?
SPEAKER_03Light beer? And I had two or three glasses.
SPEAKER_02My my. So are you sure you're an Epcot?
SPEAKER_03Yes, I'm sure I was in Epcot. Now there's a s we'll talk about that uh later.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03So um, so that was my day in uh what do you call it? Epcot. Epcot.
Hollywood Studios Choices And Lines
SPEAKER_02And then you went back to the lodge. Right. And then you had at the Geyser Grill.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02You did that.
SPEAKER_03Saturday. Now again, why did I have to end up running to find the family? I do not remember that.
SPEAKER_02Are you sure you were with them?
SPEAKER_03Yes. So Saturday uh we met up at the uh Mickey's Runaway Railroad.
SPEAKER_02That Mickey's Runaway Railroad, which is at Hollywood Studios.
SPEAKER_03Yes. Oh, say, I'm sorry, Saturday. We're going to the Hollywood Studios.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so you're at Hollywood Studios now.
SPEAKER_03And uh we looked at the Runaway Railroad line.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_03161 minutes. Whoa. Whoa.
SPEAKER_02That's over two hours.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_02Whoa, is right.
SPEAKER_03You know what?
SPEAKER_02You didn't get on that.
SPEAKER_03We didn't do that.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03Done it before, but didn't do it this time.
SPEAKER_02Have you seen have you been on it already?
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I have not seen it as yet. It used to be the movie ride. Right. Right.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. And I'm going, wait, wasn't uh didn't we just see Judy Garland's?
SPEAKER_02Right. Wasn't Judy Garland just sing? Was Gene Kelly doing singing in the rain?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I would miss that.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah. So but the outside is still there.
SPEAKER_02Oh, the it's still Groman's Chinese thing.
SPEAKER_03Okay. But I just saw a movie about uh Groman's in Los Angeles.
SPEAKER_02I've been there several times.
SPEAKER_03Have you?
SPEAKER_02In Los Angeles?
SPEAKER_03Tell me about it. Did you enjoy it?
SPEAKER_02I had fully.
SPEAKER_03Did you go in for a movie?
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_02I just did the footprints. Yeah. But I didn't try to steal John Wayne's like Lu Silball and good.
SPEAKER_03So when we get to uh Hollywood Studios, from there, we always go to Toy Story Land.
SPEAKER_02Okay. You know, I have not been on that ride.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Every time my husband and I have gone, we'd get on the line, we'd get all the way down, and then the line would break.
SPEAKER_03Oh no.
SPEAKER_02So I have yet to be on that ride.
SPEAKER_03You know, I always want to be, I always want to ride the slinky dog dash, the roller coaster.
SPEAKER_02The roller coaster.
SPEAKER_03My eyes are always on it, but the line is so long there to get on that as well.
SPEAKER_02So um what what that's like an old child roller coaster ride.
SPEAKER_03Right. Yeah. Right. It looks like a roller coaster that I could ride on.
SPEAKER_02So what did you do when you were at Hollywood Studios?
SPEAKER_03We went to the alien uh saucer, Lenin Falcon.
SPEAKER_02Oh Star Wars.
SPEAKER_03Star Wars, yeah. Big time. Big time.
SPEAKER_02Did you uh battle with the lightsabers?
SPEAKER_03No, no. One of my grandsons has got one though. Oh, does he? Yeah. That was one thing he got a couple of years, a couple of a year ago, I guess.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03So we we went on the uh Millennium Falcon smugglers run.
SPEAKER_02Ooh, that sounds oh yeah. Is that fair? Is it a roller coaster? What is it?
SPEAKER_03It's a well, it's a simulator.
SPEAKER_02A simulator.
SPEAKER_03But there's six people in it that you are on a mission.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_03You're and you're flying this, you're flying this vehicle, this millennium falcon vehicle. And I was the engineer. Oh. There's two pilots up front, right? Co-pilots and then engineers. And I was an engineer. And you had to push buttons. And I didn't quite understand it, but it was phenomenal. Yeah, it was phenomenal. I will admit it was phenomenal.
SPEAKER_02You like that ride?
SPEAKER_03It was phenomenal.
SPEAKER_02Attraction, as Disney likes to put it. They're not rides, they are attractive.
SPEAKER_03I think I would do it again. I think I would do it again. But the line, of course, there the line was about 59 minutes.
SPEAKER_02That's not too bad.
SPEAKER_03Not bad. Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes they always um.
SPEAKER_02But again, you were there on a Saturday.
SPEAKER_03Right. That was a Saturday. Yeah. Yeah. So I I might want to go back and do that again.
SPEAKER_02Right. Well, you have your annual passes.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Which is, you know, for people living in Oh, don't mention that.
SPEAKER_03I gotta renew it.
SPEAKER_02Oh, you gotta renew your pass.
SPEAKER_03Funny. At the end of the year, they want us to renew.
SPEAKER_02Uh that's what they do. Well, that's good. So you did all of that. Now, what about dinner that night?
SPEAKER_03Well, we ate at the uh commissary.
SPEAKER_02Oh, the commissary. That was on Hollywood Studio Prize.
SPEAKER_03Right, right. Right. So then everybody said, Well, let's do this, let's do that, let's do that. And me, I didn't want to do this. I didn't want to do this.
SPEAKER_02How many people were all together in YouTube?
SPEAKER_03Seven in the group.
SPEAKER_02Seven total?
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And usually when there's, you know, when there's more than five, everybody wants to go in different directions.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. So I decided I was gonna, I said I'm gonna go back to the room.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_03Go back. I really was thinking about going back to the grill, the bar.
SPEAKER_02Well, it's a nice, a nice view.
SPEAKER_03So I'm walking out of the Hollywood studios, right? And there's forms of transportation. There's the skyliner, right? There's the buses, and then there's the boats.
SPEAKER_01Right.
Boats, Skyliner, And Disney Transport Hacks
SPEAKER_03So I decided to take the freedom, freedom ship boats. And I decided, why don't I go to Epcot? Because actually, some of the kids were going to Epcot. I just decided, you know, why don't I kind of meet them there? But I'm going so I did it all on my own. I got on a boat. I got on the boat from Hollywood and the city. And the and the boat goes to the Swan and Dolphin, the Yacht and Beach Club, right? The boardwalk. And then ends up in Epcot.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_03It's a beautiful boat ride.
SPEAKER_02Oh, it's absolutely. And I know the boardwalk, and I know the Swan and Dolphin. Oh, yeah. And I know the beach club, and they are beautiful resorts.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And it went floating past all of those.
SPEAKER_03Well, they die you pick up passengers along the way. Drop off, pick up.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_03And so I get to Ebcot.
SPEAKER_02And I think it pulls in right around France, doesn't it?
SPEAKER_03England.
SPEAKER_02England.
SPEAKER_03Closer to England. France is across the bridge.
SPEAKER_02Across the water.
SPEAKER_03And so I'm going. This is where harp comes back in. So I'm going there. I'm I'm walking over to England and I'm looking at the line or as a line two blocks long to get a beer.
SPEAKER_02Really?
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Was the beer that popular or it was just that hot that day?
SPEAKER_03I don't know. There was it was that crowded. You know, compared to Friday, Saturday. I mean, Friday, I could just walk up basically two people and they're, you know. I mean, it was it wasn't worth it. So so I didn't want to.
SPEAKER_02So you didn't get it. Now you're now you're in Epcot. When did the rest of the gang meet up with you?
SPEAKER_03Well, we met up and um I walked and I walked and I walked. And then I walked back.
SPEAKER_02I walked some more.
SPEAKER_03I walked over to Japan. Oh, then he said, We're in Japan. So I'm walking towards that way. No, we're in England or America now. Okay, I'm walking no more. We're in Germany now.
SPEAKER_02So they're they're running ahead of you basically. They were ahead of me.
SPEAKER_03Didn't catch up with them. Finally, I caught up with them and made the decision. I said, I'm going back to the room.
SPEAKER_02Well, for people who don't know, when you're in the lands, when you're in the countries, it's a big circle around the lake. So if they're going ahead, world show showcase. The world showcage. And it's a big circle, and it is a hoof. It's a few miles around that lane.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I believe I put in 14, 14,000 steps that day. Yeah. Yeah. So uh so then I said, I'm going back to the room. Well, I looked at the boat line and it goes, gonna it's gonna take another 20 minutes or whatever.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_03So I said, why don't I take the Skyliner?
SPEAKER_02Oh, the Skyline. I've been dying to take that.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, the Skyliner. So you get on the Skyliner and it takes you to the transportation center. It's a it's a hub where you can go back to uh Caribbean Beach or you go to Hollywood Studios.
SPEAKER_02Did you have to change?
SPEAKER_03You have to change, yeah. So I I rode the Skyliner, got off, got up back to the Was there a lot of people that went on the Skyliner? Uh yes, there are a lot of people going on Skyliner.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_03Yes, yeah. When you learn to use that, it it's just phenomenal.
SPEAKER_02Right, because you're overlooking everything.
SPEAKER_03It goes above you go over the parking lot. Oh, yeah. So I got back to the Hollywood Studios. See? Going back to the Hollywood Studios. Right. My destination is the uh Wilderness Lawn. Okay. So I so I get on the Skyliner, right, transfer back, get on the Hollywood Studios, and get to the Hollywood Studios.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_03Then I take the bus.
SPEAKER_02Oh. The bus.
SPEAKER_03The bus. Which I'm amazed because I kind of poo-pooed the buses.
SPEAKER_02Well, I've been on the buses.
SPEAKER_03Huh?
SPEAKER_02They were okay.
SPEAKER_03They're okay. Yeah, I but it was comfortable. It was okay. Now, maybe I didn't get on, you know, sometimes actually my wife had ridden it the night before and she had to stand up all the way.
SPEAKER_02You know, yeah, because the buses can be crowded.
Lodge Downtime: Ping Pong And Geyser Grill
SPEAKER_03Right. Right. Transportation is an issue. So so, but I it was very comfortable. I got back to the uh lodge. Lodge. And let's see, what did I do? That was uh Friday. Oh Saturday. Saturday, Saturday. So then we ended up playing uh ping pong.
SPEAKER_02At the lodge. At the lodge.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03They have a ping pong table. Uh right.
SPEAKER_02They have a lot of things.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. And then what of course we ate at the geyser grill and bar.
SPEAKER_02But you were back at the geyser grill.
SPEAKER_03And there they had a shakud, what do you call it? Shakuda board? Chiccuterie. Chakuderie looked.
SPEAKER_02With the cheese and crackers.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it wasn't on it was on a bun, not a bun, but bread. Uh, you know, chakuterie on a bun or bread.
SPEAKER_02I've never seen that before, but hey.
SPEAKER_03Well, it was good. It was Disney. And so we ordered one and a half and uh well, I ordered one and a half, and she ordered one and a half.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so we had something to nibble on. Yeah. That was your dinner.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay. So now that leaves us to Sunday. That's your last day.
SPEAKER_03Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. Well, we didn't it was kind of cloudy. And so we weren't really going to go to a park. But what we did have was reservations for the brunch at the Whispering Canyon Cafe.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay. I know what that is.
SPEAKER_03You know, it's got a western flair. It's in the wilderness lodge.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_03And they they serve skillets and shenanigans.
SPEAKER_02Yes, they do serve shenanigans. Did anybody ask for ketchup?
SPEAKER_03No, that we did not ask for, but you know, when you want straws, they give you 30 of them.
SPEAKER_02Right. Same with the ketchup.
SPEAKER_03Yes. Oh, really? And the kids got to gallop around on the little hobby horse type thing, you know. And it was delicious.
SPEAKER_02It always makes it fun.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Even when they're even when you're at the restaurants, Disney mean.
SPEAKER_03We were having fun.
SPEAKER_02Well, that's fun. That's good. Now, that was your last day there. Did you leave early in the day and head back home?
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_02That's what we did.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_02Now, from what I understand from that last conversation, you guys are looking at doing a Disney cruise.
Upcoming Disney Cruise And Road Trips
SPEAKER_03Disney cruise coming up in December, yes.
SPEAKER_02Oh, December when?
SPEAKER_0319th.
SPEAKER_02December 19th.
SPEAKER_03I would say that would be a Christmas cruise, wouldn't you?
SPEAKER_02Absolutely. Disney's already decorating for the holidays. So that is definitely a Christmas cruise. And is it going to be a seven-day or no, just a three-day, three nights.
SPEAKER_03Three day three nights.
SPEAKER_02Just going to their island in pack technically. And you have not been on a Disney cruise.
SPEAKER_03Have not been on a Disney cruise.
SPEAKER_02But your wife has.
SPEAKER_03Yes. Yes. Yes.
SPEAKER_02Disney, Disney pulls out all the stops for those cruises. So how many people are going to be on that?
SPEAKER_03Seven.
SPEAKER_02There's going to be seven of you. Same seven group.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02They're Disniers.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I love it. I love it. Well, Jay, I know that you're also planning other little excursions around the United States, which is really good because Discovering America is absolutely fantastic. Particularly if you're driving now, it's better. Considering we're having some travel issues with air air modes.
SPEAKER_03Air modes, yeah. And by the way, uh, I am going to go to Chattanooga.
SPEAKER_02Chattanooga.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02For Thanksgiving.
SPEAKER_03Well, it's going to be a kind of a festive thing for my family. My sister from Illinois is coming to Chattanooga, and we're coming to Chattanooga from Florida.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03Which is basically halfway.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_03So it's a good place to meet.
SPEAKER_02So how long will it take you to drive to Chattanooga?
SPEAKER_03It's about a seven and a half, eight-hour drive. And it's the same for them.
SPEAKER_02Right. So cool. So it's midway between the two of you. So yeah. They'll do a little uh Thanksgiving party in advance.
SPEAKER_03And of course, we're gonna go stay at the Drury Inn.
SPEAKER_02You love the Drury.
SPEAKER_03Yep. Plug, plug, plug.
SPEAKER_02Right. Cheap shameless plug, the Drury Inn. But they are nice. They are nice hotels. I've been I've stayed at them as well. Well, Jay, thank you for joining me today. We'll be touching base again on all your trips.
SPEAKER_03It's my pleasure.
SPEAKER_02Thank you, thank you. And as I always say, dream big, reach for those stars. And if you only get to the moon, at least you made the trip. This is Z Michelson. Thanks for tuning in today.
SPEAKER_01If you're looking for great places to travel to, visit my website, zemichelsentravel.com, and Z is belt Z-E-E.
