This podcast takes the listener through the Spanish defeat of Moctezuma, his Mexica people and his Aztec allies in a richly sensual narrative.

In 1519 the Aztec Triple Alliance dominated the Valley of Mexico and beyond, encompassing an empire that stretched from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic, from the Northern deserts of Chihuahua to the jungles of Oaxaca in the south.
