#6: Scott Kitun - Design Thinking, Taking Risks, and Blazing New Trails
Aug 14, 2018 Season 1 Episode 6
Scott Kitun
Boundlessly energetic, Scott Kitun (follow him on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram) knows how to light a fire – and whether you find yourself agreeing with him or not, you will be challenged. The energy and passion he possesses – coupled with the design thinking framework he employs – is what has largely driven his success to date.

As CEO of Technori (follow them on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram), Scott has earned a reputation for helping tech start-ups find their way. Particularly through showcasing these start-ups on stage at one of Technori’s monthly live shows in venues across the country including Chicago, San Francisco, New York, and Detroit, among others. And by featuring tech founders on the Technori Podcast, which also airs on WGN Radio. There are multiple other ways Scott and Technori help the community, the most recent of which is by blazing a new path for how start-up investing is done, which we talk a lot about in this episode.

It’s hard to put a label on Scott, which is exactly where he likes to be. Business man, futurist, media entrepreneur, other? Yes, yes, yes and yes. In this episode we explore the journey thus far, how he discovered that his perceived “learning disability” was actually a thinking framework taught in the best schools in the country, and of course the tech world, tech investing and the like.

Enjoy!
