I like asking myself questions. Hard questions. Uncomfortable questions, often rhetorical questions. Some of the biggest moves forward in my career have come after spending time deliberating these sorts of questions about my strengths, my weaknesses, my passions, my goals, and my ideal clients. Often, the clarity found in these soul-searching sessions actually helped me to better understand both myself and my business.
I’ve also posed these sorts of questions to my students, and they’ve had their fair share of “Eureka!” moments along the way, so I wanted to share some of these exercises in hopes that they may help you have some “Eureka!” moments of your own.
I’ve created this podcast to help you focus on these types of questions for yourself, with each session followed by a simple, actionable exercise that will allow you to apply these bits of self-awareness that you develop along the way.
My goal is to help you find clarity about your own strengths, weaknesses, goals, and passions, and to help you build deeper career satisfaction and more meaningful client relationships.
You’ll notice that each episode is formatted in a very similar way, and that’s intentional. These are meant to be more like guided meditations of sorts, rather than experienced passively. However, you’ll end each 12-15 minute session with increased clarity, one step closer to achieving your career goals.
If you’re just looking for easy answers, then this podcast is not for you. Honestly, you probably would’ve stopped listening already. But if you’re searching for a deeper understanding of WHY you do what you do, WHO you resonate with the most, and HOW you can wield that understanding to take more confident steps forward in your career - well, then I think you’re in the right place.
