In Episode 9, “Where Do I Find My People?”, we’re talking about something so many of us are quietly searching for: real community. Between sheep fiascos, struggling gardens, remote work, endless streaming, and lives lived more online than in person, it’s easy to feel disconnected — even when we technically have “our people.”

This episode explores the growing reality of what researchers are calling the “Anti-Social Century,” where Americans are spending more time at home and less time building face-to-face relationships than ever before. We unpack what true community actually means, why Scripture consistently calls us toward one another, and how isolation affects our spiritual and emotional health.

Together, we look at what the Bible says about carrying each other’s burdens, gathering together, sharpening one another, and living as one body in Christ. Most importantly, we talk about practical ways to stop waiting for community to happen and start building it ourselves — one invitation, one shared meal, one intentional step at a time.

Because imperfect community is still better than perfect isolation.
