She joins us today to share her journey - how she came to work in in rural mixed practice,  what it is about her job that will keep her there for many many years to come, and why she is such a passionate advocate for the veterinary profession.

We touch on the barriers and benefits to working in a small rural town, and how community is such an important component to our ongoing  professional and personal development. As the WA AVA president elect, Katie highlights a number of important  initiatives currently being offered by the Australian Veterinary Association, along with the goals she is hoping to achieve during her term as president.
