Peace is an Action Verb
We think of peace as an inner state of stillness, an indescribable quality that we all seek. But what if peace is actually comprised of action verbs? Join host Christine Boschen as she interviews everyday and not-so-everyday people about their "peace action verbs". A note from Christine: I started dreaming of this project in 2016. I became obsessed with the concept of peace verbs. They were coming into my mind one after another, and as they did, I carved them out of paper and put them up on a wall in our family home. My goals are to bring peace within reach by exploring the various peace action verbs at play in my guests' lives, and to inspire reflection in my listeners about their own peace action verbs.Christine is an intuitive channel, body-focused meditation teacher, facilitator, and communication coach. Peace is an Action Verb
Dalton Bradley
Episode Notes
Dalton Bradley's journey is a powerful exploration of peace as an action verb. Born with a disability and raised in a complex family environment, he has continuously worked to break down invisible boundaries. Key peace verbs like meditate, advocate, and develop awareness have guided his path, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and understanding. Through therapy, 12-step programs, and personal reflection, Dalton has learned to persist, play, and trust in his own journey. His transition from project management to counseling embodies the peace verb of transform, showing how personal healing can become a professional calling. He has dismantled internalized limitations and created spaces for authentic emotional expression, particularly challenging societal norms around masculinity. Looking forward, Dalton aims to continue his mission of peace-making through his counseling practice and potential podcast. His vision is to create platforms that allow men to express emotions, break down toxic masculinity, and understand their own complex identities. For Dalton, peace is not a static state, but an active, ongoing process of awareness, advocacy, and personal growth.
