BJ Mumford is the Founder and CEO of Play Practice Basketball, and owner of the Seacoast Hoops Lab facility in Portsmouth, NH. He has over 18 years of experience in basketball coaching and training, from toddlers to special needs, and even NBA All-stars.

He is known as a pioneer and thought leader in peaceful coaching, precision feedback, decision-training, and building "concrete confidence" in players "from the sneakers up". His team of 10 staff at Play Practice Basketball follow a rigorous system of the curriculum they have developed to specifically help 10-14-year-old basketball players become ready for high school level competition.
