Join us as we discuss with our teacher Ryan Brown the parable of the ten virgins. If you have been curious about why the Bible often compares our relationship with God to a marriage, today we will discuss how God shows his love and commitment to us through the covenant of Marriage. In Matthew 24 and 25, there are 5 main points that Jesus makes when he talks about the second coming of Christ: No one knows the time or hour, Keep watch, Be wise, Be prepared, and There will be a delay. In this parable, we are like the bridesmaids that are waiting for the bridegroom. We know he is going to come but we don't know when. We must therefore be prepared. Not only must we be prepared but we must be wise. We must not sacrifice our witness to save the foolish. We must not offend God to satisfy those who are offending the kingdom. In this parable, Jesus shows that Wisdom is directly synonymous with readiness. Are you ready?
