Join us with our teacher Ryan Brown as we discuss the story of Zacchaeus. We don't often think about who Zacchaeus really was. You may actually be oversimplifying him because of the children's rhymes we were taught growing up... In fact, Zacchaeus was rich, well-known, yet despised by the Jewish community. He was the Chief Tax Collector of a heavily traveled trade city in Jesus' day. Today's we'll learn why it was so profound and so personally impactful when Jesus proclaimed: “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for I must stay at your house today."
