Nobody Knows:

Roscoe, Roscoe, Roscoe, Roscoe, Roscoe, Roscoe, Roscoe, Roscoe, Roscoe, Roscoe.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Hey, hey, hey. Nobody. Yes, I'm right here.

Nobody Knows:

Yes, yes. You are right in front of me. You and your I soul. You. Um, Roscoe, we are pitching some stuff like baseball people. What? Well, wait,

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

what position am I playing? Or are we on the same team? Or are we like, uh, , what is, how many players are we talking about? What, what kind, what kind of game is

Nobody Knows:

this? I know absolutely nothing about baseball.. Why'd you pick this? Roscoe Sweatsuit: I'm guessing there are, I don't know. Baseball. You

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

don't know Baseball. You picked the one sport that neither of us knows about. Nobody Knows: I'm, I'm pretty Yeah. There's more than one pitcher on a, on a baseball team, on a same team. Are you serious? Right. Cause they have , , beginning pitchers and then like finisher pictures. Yeah, but what I'm asking, am I pitching you the ball or you pitching me the ball? Are we on the same team pitching the ball? We're on the same

Nobody Knows:

team. Why do you want it to be? Devices? Devices, device divided.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Divisive. Divisive. The

Nobody Knows:

words. Yeah. We're on the same team. We're

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

both pitching. Who are we pitching to? Uh, I guess we're pitching to you guys in the

Nobody Knows:

audience. This is also very true. Oh, hello guys. How are you feeling? We're

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

doing a Power Ranger pitch. Yeah, we're doing them, uh, the Mighty Morphin Google Power Rangers. Uh, not fucked that up. We're doing the, we're doing the Mighty Morphin. We're doing the . We're doing the Mighty Morphine Power Rangers.

Nobody Knows:

Yeah. So yeah. So then we're just doing, , put on um, mighty Morphin Power Rangers. And I think at least I think we've took different way, like a very different way than normally people take it. I think we pitched some really interesting shows, , based off our like childhood experience with

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

the Shell and stuff like that. Yeah. So, uh, tune in and see what it takes of the teenagers with attitude. Yeah, yeah., Nobody Knows: as always, you, , Roscoe Sweatsuit: if you have any ideas or

Nobody Knows:

stuff like that or maybe

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

ideas, suggestions,

Nobody Knows:

or pitch yourselves,, please put in the comments below and, , thanks for watching Roscoe. You know what time it is. It's more from time . Perfect. Did you clap? I guess. Yeah, I did clap. It's hilarious, but we can't tell what each other are clapping.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

The thing that's when we actually clap perfectly is that it's like, um, I wonder if it's, you know how if you, when you have certain audio waves, if you do them like, uh, simultaneously and one goes up and one goes down, they like cancel each other out. Yeah. I wonder if it's

Nobody Knows:

like that. Yeah. But you know, we we're, we're diving back in our childhoods, we are talking about them Rangers, the Mighty Rangers. They sometimes have bots that are robots. Uh, that's a dumb statement that are like animals. Sometimes they're, they're other animals, but they morph and they fight and they're the power rangers. I'm trying to think. Like, they're

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

usually either animals or they're like some random car or something like, or some kind of vehicle. Yeah. I'm trying to think. I can't think of like anything that goes away from that, that like genre. Oh, um,

Nobody Knows:

no. No, I don't think so. The only other thing that's the only other staple in, in mighty mores is Deb getting their athlete for the first half, and then they'll be like, yo, let's, let's figure this shit out. Let's actually use teamwork. And then it come back and beat this, the person's ass. Like, let's, let's draw big and still take the whooping.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

I think we need to call the Maor power and use what they really are. And that's a gang

Nobody Knows:

Fight back. Yeah, fight back. Yeah.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

They really just like, just gang, what I was about say they really just gang bang, but that's not the right word. What, what do you call it? They just like,

Nobody Knows:

Jump.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Jump. Yeah. They just jump their, their like villains. It's not, it's like a 5 0 1 fight. It's not really that fair. You know? I guess in this case it's a, it's a case of might versus. Yeah. But yeah,

Nobody Knows:

before, so obviously if you're listening to this, , we are gonna try to pitch some ideas for Power Rangers., but before we get into that, you know, we both have been Power Rangers fans, , when we were kids and, , stores somewhat nowadays. What do you think is the reason why we like Power Rangers or what, what is the draw of Power Rangers

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

in your opinion? Yeah, I think it's a good question because, you know, the whole, the big thing about Power Rangers is , , you have these group of kids or teenagers or whatever, and they are teenagers with attitudes, with attitude, and they all have, , these one, these things that they're good at and they combine together and they're strong enough to fight whatever sort of monster or like impossible beast, , has come to ruin the earth. And you know what, , I don't think I really care about any of that. I like it , when, when, , the, the team comes together and there's just, just this one guy that's like, some kid that just moved into town shows up and he just beats all their . I think it's the main reason why I like, like, like you think

Nobody Knows:

of what I think you're showing, what color, what color, power do you like the best to have, bro,

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

that's the one that I, bro, that was, I've always like, you know, ever since, um, I know you remember this, we, we've been friends since, , since like 1999, , uh, uh, I used to go out , with my grandpa and we used to go , , the movie store down the road. R i p, by the way, r i p, that fucking movie store, , wasn't even a Blockbusters, it was just a movie store. And we, I used to get the same four VHS versions of like the mighty morphine power that watch them over and over and over again like every day. And uh, yeah, man. I think that the idea of the thoughts of, um, teamwork are super cool., but really I just like watching people beat up, beat people up and turn into giant robots. If I had to be very honest with you, I could give a shit about the teamwork. Yeah, yeah. Oh, dude, I forgot, I forgot. We're not supposed to be cursing so much.

Nobody Knows:

Oh, well we're, we're, that's a, that's a long world and we're barely traveling in it, so let's see. Yeah. Um, I, I, I would have to agree. I would've to agree, like, I think like the most, um, at least when I think of like, um, the past, when I think about Power Rangers, them fighting is like the thing, right? Where it's like, yo Zo on, cool, all that other stuff, you know, there's friends or kids or whatever, but it's like, nah, man, they, they cop out and they go deal with that problem. Uh, I think, I think that's always like , the coolest part where it's like, oh, you know, they're coming together., and stuff like that. I think another interesting about Power Rangers was like, there's a social, like a lot of the episodes are just mainly dealing with , Hey, they're, it's not that. We can't beat the villains. It's literally that we have problems and once we get over our problems, we will win this fight. Like it's normally like, I'm mad about this one thing, so I'm struggling, or whatever. You know what I'm saying? It's like a lot of , the social problems within the group is the only reason they lose and a lot of times they lose. It's just like, yo, you guys should work as a team. It's like, nah, fuck

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

that. Yeah. It's really, it's really just like this whole Power Ranger shindig is just a just one giant group project. Yeah. And you know, the blue, sometimes the blue ranger has to carry the whole team because the, the yellow ranger doesn't wanna do anything. They don't wanna contribute and

Nobody Knows:

they, there's like a literally a whole like arc. There's always , this common arc that happens where it is like a new kid comes in and he is like, yo, I'm just way better than a red ranger. I don't understand why anyone listens to the Red Ranger. Right. This is, this, is this been so much of things that they done it on multiple, like multiple series where it's like there's this kid comes in, he is like, yeah, you know, the Red Ranger kind of fucking sucks. I

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

have a badass. Yo, do you remember the um, uh, power Ranger Ninja Storm when they did that, that, that concept like three times at least? Yeah. And like you had one with, the guy that was the nerd that turned out to be like , the legendary hero or whatever. But then you have the other guys, the red and the blue ones, the Beatles who just showed up and just beat it out of the, like the whole cast. Yeah. Yeah. I don't, yeah, man, it just that, that's my favorite arc. I, I think I watched the show primarily just to get to those arcs. Yeah, I think

Nobody Knows:

the action in the Power Ranger was a super heavy draw as it makes sense cuz we were younger kids and stuff like, , I think it had some , good nuggets with the social, like teamwork kind of aspect. And I think , at least the last nugget is like, being special, right?, like the kids there were just kind of special and kind of outcasts., but they still got chosen by Zoan pretty much, which always was cool or whatever that concept is strong enough to even , that launched like a whole bunch of other series. Pretty much spin off of Power Rangers. Like, bro, you remember bible band, bro?

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Let's start talking about bible band, bro. That was, that was the, that was the show for a little bit.. Yeah. What a bible. What a bible man had a mega sword. That's the only thing that was missing, bro. They had the budget

Nobody Knows:

for that. Yeah. Quick silent Bible man. Bible man was just a smash up on so many pop culture things. It was literally like yo power, just with light savers to God.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Yeah. And Batman. Yeah,. , Nobody Knows: but yeah, I was just concept and , , their plot structure. Say what you like, even if you hate it or love it, it works cuz it's been playing for longer than I've been alive. Pretty much. And we're not even counting the, uh, the Japanese super Centi series that it's based off of. By the way, dude, , have I ever told you about the original, , mighty Morin Power Rangers Superin series? No, not really, bro. It's so much darker than the, uh, than the fricking , American version. First off, , reader Repulse is like a Satan worshiper and she freaking, like, not like the first episode she crashes her building, her like castle into like two giant buildings. And also the Power Rangers, like they're not teenagers with attitudes. It's, there's like this wizard that just has been keeping these children underneath, , his castle for years specifically to unleash, to stop, the, uh, her name's not Rita Repulse, but it's like, , I think it's like Bandura or something. But he just, it's the idea if he just keeps these teenagers in his basement, which is , just kind of weird. It's like, wake up guys. It's hard to fight evil. Nobody Knows: I do whatever you say. Yeah. Just let me outta the basement.

Nobody Knows:

No, the basement's good for you. This is how you become, this is you wanna become a power ranger date. You,

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

I just wanna see my family. Your family's dead. You've been dying forever over 10,000 years. Da. Nobody Knows: Uh, but yeah, so that's the things that make, , power Rangers interesting and good. It's like

Nobody Knows:

action, the relationship stuff. And then the structure and plot is, has been tried and true for years and years and works. Particularly good with a younger audience, but you know, just look at all the spinoff and kicks off comic book series that , people like of the Power Rangers. Right? Like, you know, , you, it's really easy to take the Power Rangers into a way darker spear. Really? Cuz I had a hard time. Like, , I think it's like not, I think, I think I, I got it, I got it. Power Rangers, when you're a kid you're just like, man, interesting. Action thing or whatever. But when you grow over, you just kind of like look at the more of the logistics of it and you're like, this is, this, this is might be more complicated than just punching someone in the face. Yeah. You know, jumping someone

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Yeah. Cuz these are, these are child soldiers essentially. Yeah., who are, who are like set out to kill these sentient life forms usually. Yeah.

Nobody Knows:

Senti and life forms that just another Senti Lifeboard told 'em to do. Right? Yeah.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

and, and they have bodies, but this one doesn't., , Nobody Knows: but yeah, so we Mine's a little bit more fuzzy than yours. I believe so, yeah. We both, have these ideas to pitch for our Power Rangers and we just wanna like, you know, pitch it and see what other people think and, kind of record and document like our ideas and go that stuff. And , like our other pizzas, we're just having fun, just trying stuff out. Don't get too butt hurt about it if you're, , but if you like it, you know, the like it and all that other stuff, you know, I just realized what, I don't have a title for mine. Oh, she actually give, I should gimme the title.

Nobody Knows:

Yeah. Good that you're going first. Uh, time to think of a title. Why? See,

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

I hate what you do this, where you're like, where like, you know what? I haven't thought of a whole lot of my idea. And then it's like you proceed to go through seamlessly for 30 minutes about your idea and then you're, you put me like, Roscoe's got this under. He's, he's, he's got this purely on, on, on board. Nobody, my brain is, is just super, super adhd. It is very impossible for me to keep on tap task. So matter how hard I have this under control. I don't have this under control working with sinners in the hand of the angry God and that God is my brain. Uh, but yeah, I guess I'll, I'll give us a tentative title. Um, everything dies.? No, that's uh, hold on. I'm gonna spit. I must spit like five titles. You can pick, you can pick the best one. How about that? All right. Right. Apocalypse. Um, Don't get in the robot. No, let's call it, no, I'll just go with that. Don't get in the robot. The story is called Don't Get in the Robot. And, um, my inspiration behind the story was I was trying to find ways to make Power Rangers a little bit more darker. I wanted to play off like, I don't know, this sort of like moral, like a moral relativist approach. And I, I kind of just wanted to make it really weird and I thought, what was the, the best way to make this weird is to make this as like horrifyingly as possible. And then I was thinking about the monsters and, , I don't know, I just thought like, you know, the monsters are very like, almost like a fake kaulu, klu lovecraft sort of, uh, like the costume design seems like it takes a lot of that inspiration. So I thought like, oh man, it'd be really cool to make a love crafty power Ranger story. I don't think that's something that's, if you

Nobody Knows:

were, uh, Have you had to like, describe the cover of this, like D V D or , a comic book? How would you describe it? Would it be that picture you created before?

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Uh, it would probably be something along those lines. I think it would, I think I would probably focus maybe on , the characters, , like the five kids who get drafted into this like cosmic war and, um, just how afraid and unprepared they are. And I kind of want them in like , the cockpit of the robot and for , reasons which are gonna become very obvious that there is something like obviously wrong with this thing that they're in, that they're piloting., I just want whatever it is, I want there to be a sense of unease when the reader picks up the

Nobody Knows:

book. I know you said you wanted to say don't get in the robot , but I, think the better thing for this would be get the robot.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

No, definitely don't get the, don't get the robot Shinji. Get

Nobody Knows:

the robot Shinji. Oh,

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

get in the, oh. Oh. Yeah. That's the other thing of me. Just, I have to make everything, I have a theory. I think we're gonna make the episode of this, that every anime is just a retelling of neon genesis. Even Gillian and I stand behind it because that is my religion. Yeah.

Nobody Knows:

Well of choice. Yeah. Let, let's get, yeah, we're gonna have a random talk on that. And I, bet the Internet's gonna just super agree with you. Don't, don't push back at all.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

It's partly a joke, but also I'm partly just very serious about it.. Uh, yeah. So the story's called Don't Get in the Robot. It's, , about these five kids who, , you know, just kind of like how Power Rangers takes off, get drafted into this inter cosmic war by this guy named a Brus. And a Brus isn't a giant head in Aase. What is he in a va? A container. A tube. Yeah. He's not a giant. Facing a tube. He's a, really shifty kind of like, no, he's, I, the word I would use is, he's hard to look at in the sense that he's hard to really get a grasp of what he looks like., he's, I was about to describe myself, like he's bald, , he's bald, kind of pasty and gray, kind of sickly looking., , he sits on this giant, like this giant throne that's way too big for him, but he casts a shadow that's way, that seems to be way bigger than his actual size. And these kids that get drafted, they're, just kind of regular high school kids. There's, , lion, he's sort of like, um, the leader. He's just kind of, I, I don't know. He just kind of like a kid that doesn't fit in. He just think of Rocky from the original power injuries. He's kind of like, yeah, he can fight a little bit. He's not, he's kind of got leadership qualities, but not really., there's Cassidy, James, Carter, and Troy. I don't know if I'm gonna go too much into their plot lines, but all of them have kind of, these really, , sketchy home, home life. They are very disconnected, very, they're very much like a real sort of, um, teenager, like kind. What it's really like being a teenager, you know, you have family issues. You have, , a really hard time relating with people like your, your hormones get in the way of the, like, having decent relationships with the people you care about., they're all kind of have their own sort of fucked up situations that they're going through. Like, uh, Lionel is, Lionel has like a very like, difficult relationship , with his dad or, uh, his dad and his mom., but yeah, they get recruited by this, by a baris to fight. I don't even know what to call them. They're, I, I was gonna call them angels, but then I'm definitely ripping off, uh, even Gillian, I just call them emissaries. So I have to go, basically, I have to pause this and rewind and talk about the, uh, cosmology of this universe because this, it's not completely, it's not, uh, a love craft story in the sense that it's, uh, ripping all, like, it's just takes place in the love craft world. It's just a lot of it is sort of based loosely on, , love crafty and cosmic horror. And, uh, how he, how a braus tells this story is that, , a bras is sort of like this. Um, he is this kind of dark creator of the world. Like he created the. And, , if you're familiar with like, uh, man, this is really getting to gul. If you're familiar with, um, familiar with narcissism, an old, an old, uh, Christianity and antiquity, there's like a concept of like a dimmi urge, which is like this sort of like, um, I don't know, secondary creature that created the, that created the universe or whatever. And it's not, he's not necessarily good and that's why the world is imperfect. So you have this guy named, he creates the earth and the earth is kind of just like this one singular planet. And when you look out in the stars, you know, of course when you look up in real, the real world, you see these, um, little white pebbles in the sky. And you know, we're told these are giant flaming balls of fire. They're billions and billions of light years away. But, um, this is, this is flat earth baby. No, this is not flat, but it's essentially the flat, flat earth kind of theory., where our world is encased by this. Um, it's almost like a prison. Field that is surrounding the planet. And the stars are kind of these emissaries that are watching down there. There are holes in this, , barrier that it's keeping, , a braus sealed inside of, , our planet. And, you know, outside where you see the light is just like these holes where, you know, you have these,, emissaries that are watching down on us, making sure that a bra doesn't come up there and, try to escape. In this world, the emissaries are kind of like they live in this platonic world. A lot of these things that are like, that exist in this magic system are I just loosely call metaphors the emissaries. And like a lot of the things in here, you can't, people, regular people can't see. Um, because they're metaphors, , they, they, they existed this world of forms. Like they, they were the idea of things., and so when a brus when, when a brus asked. The kids to fight in this, , fight in this war against the emissaries. They were like, yo, um, you're asking me to fight these giant, these things sound ginormous. Um, so I like, I don't know how you expect this to fight these because, uh, I, that that just seems like a bad idea. He's like, oh man, don't worry. I have this giant robot thing that you can fight these, uh, things with and, uh, you should be, uh, good. I think, you know, as long as you just use your head right and work together as a team, I think you'll be fine. And so he shows them this giant robot and it kind of just looks like the original mighty Morphine Power Rangers, but it's kind of like, it's a little off. It's powered by steam in a weird way., it's very hot and it just looks kind of off in a, in a, in a strange way. And, uh, they get in the robot and there, there's something that's really definitely noticeably off when they get inside this thing. Yeah. So yeah, he's like, get the robot dudes and they all get the robot and they go off and they, they go off into town, , in the city that they live in, and they're like, yeah, let's go fight this monster. And, , a thing about like the, the monsters that they fight is that they are like, first off, this machine is, uh, probably about the size, at least twice the size is the largest building in Chicago. And the things that they're fighting are like four times the size of them. Okay. And, I like, it's hard to, you know, obviously they're like, they are, um, love crafty things, so they're very hard to describe. Let's just, just the magic tulu and, you know, they have to fight those kinds of things with their, within their robot. And , when they're in this like side their, like , their giant robot, I feel like I should have a name for the robot, but I don't. Um Mm. It feels very weird. First off, you know, you call me non ly and geometry the robot looks weird. Oh, it moves in a way that, see, that doesn't, it moves almost like in a way that like a fourth dimensional object works. Mm-hmm., like, if you've ever seen like a four dimensional cube, it kind like, when it moves, it kind of appears and disappears. Okay. Okay. Um, and in some ways, and you should call,

Nobody Knows:

uh, and super side note, you should call the RO rocks off.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Okay. Yeah. Let's call, let's call it off., when there, it's off. It moves weird. Yes. Nobody, there are colors that nobody knows that nobody could see. Yes. All they nobody knows could see, could see these colors.

Nobody Knows:

Yes. They're bi colors, no one can have,

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

they're specifically your colors. And, , being in there kind is really strange, , because when you're inside, This off your, , consciousness melds with the other people. And it's not in like a way that's like, um, oh, like you took a bunch of shrooms. Like, oh man, you know, I feel like in one with everyone, it's very, it's a very invasive feeling. You feel like you're inside a person, inside a person, inside another person. It's, , yeah. It just, it feels wrong. And you know that there, the thing about being in that, um, or at least how a bra explains it, is that when you're in this robot and you're like, consciousness combines, it allows you to experience life in metaphor., nobody, you are able to, um, kind of see these, these, uh, ms series that are threatening your, the, , the world because normal people can't see them, and they really can't see the robot either. All they, they can see the destruction that it caused. They're like, oh my gosh, these buildings are like falling apart. And things are catchy on fire, but to them, because it's the world of metaphor, they're like, oh, there's a storm destroying this town. We have to go, , find shelter. That, that, that's what they see. They see like their brains try to come up with a story to explain. They, the unnatural

Nobody Knows:

phenomenon. Oh, it's like they, uh, they, their brains are trying to connect the leap. Right? And it's, yes. Does it come off as, like, does Everett come off as like super desperate? Desperate or like Yeah. Coping. Yeah, kind.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Yeah. Like coping, like, uh, there's obviously like people want to fein like, it's almost like a very willful ignorance, but their brain is doing that. It's not them. It's on a very subconscious level. The best way I can explain it, if you've ever watched, um, if you've ever read the Percy Jackson series, is a concept of the mist where, you know, whenever the, like Percy Jackson is fighting a monster, he's interacting with something paranormal the people around them. See, just random stuff because there's this, um, I don't know what they call the mist is like this thing that bars people from seeing into that particular world. That's the best way I could see it. But it's like literally the things that they're looking at are so horrifying that they have to clump with another story to, , explain what's going on. And so they're, they're able to fight these monsters and there's about like maybe six or seven of these things that come down and try to, , stop a braus from not, not setting loose. We don't, we don't find out this labor, but they're trying, they're trying to get to this, um, what he calls like the grand terminal. And that's like, so that's the command center. Their command center's in like, kind of is in the center of the earth basically. And their job is to stop them or hold them off until the end of the. because by the end of the summer there's, there's like they, if the, I was about to say the Angels, I'm, this is definitely a d just to see if a Gil to rip off. Yeah. When they reach the central terminal by the, um, by the summer solstice. Now we're ripping off Avatar, um, the end of the World War. When did we, we'll, what did we get?

Nobody Knows:

The blood bending? Roscoe Sweatsuit: Yeah. Well, we'll get there soon. Just, just watch. And so, they fight the six or seven different monster beast things, and they've kind of, they've gotten to the point where it's like, you know, the, so summer Solt is almost here. We have to just, we have to fight this eighth ary, but it's gonna be like the hardest one ever and we have to be able to fight this. And , there's a whole bunch of stuff I'm going over, like people having to deal with the catastrophe of, what's going on. Like people's like, um, a lot of, some of the characters parents die, like get caught up. This fight, they either get smushed to death by like the giant foot or like just various casualties of what, you know, all the things that can go wrong in a giant, , mecca robot fight. And these people have to carry on this knowing that they are the problem, that they were the thing that, that caused this. And they're asking the question of, , is it really worth it if I'm having to make all these sacrifice and all the people around me are dying, or, , losing their lives or livelihoods? One of the peop one of the characters, uh, Carter goes insane from, uh, just the trauma and, you know, he, um, his, like, his, his, his, uh, him, his mom and his sister died, um, during one of the fight. And, um, before, before the eighth ary, before you continue, I had two questions. One was like, um, would these like relations, so like, you know, we talked about Power Rangers, about like the relationships between the characters being like very close knit and I'm guessing like what you're describing, like these characters probably don't even like really see each other after this, right? Like they do their thing and then, I don't know, if you're describing, if it fuels how the word you're describing it, they probably kind of avoid each other too, right? Like, so they, yeah, like, you know, at least with Power Rangers, like you could, like, like one of the things they did with, I was like, oh, you share your problems and we will like help, fix your problems together. But it feels like in this one it's like, no, not only is this actively giving me more problems, but I'm actively have to handle it on my own even more.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Yeah. It's their teamwork is, Forced. And there are times where they have to, they do have to come together outside of being summoned by this, , by this being. But it's very much like a really, really awkward family reunion. Like nobody wants to be there. Uh, and they are connecting the sense that, you know, they've all experienced this very traumatic thing. So there is a bond there, but it's very, very strange. And , it's a very tense situation because there's situations like, um, there's one episode where,, Carter, or well, not Carter. Yeah, Carter and Lionel and Cassie. This is kind of what start, what causes, uh, Carter to break down. They, they're in the middle, middle of the fight and they have to choose where they wanna fight. That, that's a part of, uh, power Rangers that I don't feel is discussed. Like, you know, you will have to fight in these, like really low, these small confines in the city. And there's part of it like, Hey, if you, if you fight in this area, this area is gonna be jacked up. So you kind of need to be more aware of like where you're fighting., like it would be good if you could lead this monster to some, like desert in the middle of nowhere. But if that isn't the case, how are you gonna deal with this? Or how are you gonna deal with the casualty? And the group ha kind of has to vote in the spur of the moment where to go. And Carter or Lionel, the leader, makes the choice that they're gonna fight in this area where Carter lives. And as a result, Carter, um, Carter's parents and his sister die. Mm-hmm.. Nobody Knows: Um, okay. And the second thing was like, I I, this is not like more of a question, it's more just a statement. Like it feels a little bit of shade of uh, uh, Boku. I believe it's the series. Oh yeah. I forgot that one. That was also definitely a rip off. It's definitely rip off that one too.

Nobody Knows:

Hey, hey. Yo know Power Rangers a rip off of a whole bunch of other stuff. So we could just, we could just go roll it. I mean, we're not even

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

gonna talk like, man, if we really wanna talk about this. Power Rangers is a ripoff of, uh, the Japanese version version of Spider-Man. Look that up. I'm dead serious. I'm not even joking, bro. Power Rangers is literally a ripoff of, of Spiderman. Yeah, but sorry, that's neither here. Nor was that the end of your question? Yeah. Was that

Nobody Knows:

a question? Yeah, that was, that was just the statement, but Yeah. Yeah, go ahead. Yeah, you're good.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Yeah. Uh, yeah, so, you know, they get down to the final, the final angel, the final, uh, the final msa, CG Hey, at least I didn't have any, there's no, there's no dad, major dad problems in the story. So I've, I would say that I've, I've steered clear of a lot of the tropes of, of, uh, even gillion. But yeah, so they're gonna fight this final emissary and, , they somehow learn that a BRS isn't, Like he's not some kind of good being. He's not even really some kind of like medium level, like ind I'm indifferent to you being, he's just straight up like cosmically evil., he created our world, but he created our world to be the opposite of this like platonic world of the forums that the MS series exist and where everything is a perfect idea of what it is. He wanted to create a world that is just pure evil. And, , when he created humans, humans were his biggest failure because they are both perfect. Uh, close to perfect, but , not perfect. So he's like, um, you know what, I really messed up with this. Like the emissaries tried to intervene. And, , that is kind, that is a big reason why the world is such like, it's a reason why duality exists. Duality doesn't exist anywhere in this universe other than, , our, our world. So he is like, man, I really messed up. I really wanna just wanna start like, uh, set the slate clean and start over again. But he's confined to this area and he can't, he can't leave. So he is trying to buy his time., he's been biting his time for millions and millions of years to break out. And, , that time to break out just so happens to be the summer solstice. And when he breaks out, he's gonna destroy the world too. But he's gonna make everything way, way worse. And when the, uh, I, I don't even know what to call them, the power Rangers or whatever they're called with the, when the, the power Rangers figure out about this, they're like, , they realize like, Hey, you know, we can't let you do this. Like, we're gonna stop you., we're gonna fight both you and the, um, I don't know, and the like, theary and we're gonna make this world free from like both of your, your control. And it's just gonna be a free world where like, you know, everyone can live and try to find the happiness that they choose. And by this time I, I think I've, I've didn't say this, they've defeated , , the eighth angel when they discovered this somehow through the, like, the fight with the, I mean, I said eighth Angel, the eighth, they, they defeated the eighth adversary and somehow through the, like this fight with the eighth adversary, they've realized ABRs plan.

Nobody Knows:

When I'm editing this video, I'm just gonna throw angels at it all the time. Every time you say up, he's gonna throw on

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

those angels. Yeah. Oh man. I forgot to, I think you, um, Aus is a standin for, uh, the near la te character and, and, , , love craft and fiction. I just wanna put that in there. Okay. Just for anyone who's, who's curious. Uh, okay. Yeah. ABRs has somewhat been slowly resurrected. He arises from his, the Grand Central terminal, , as like this kind of, uh, just giant, more large figure of him. Just kind of imagine like I anew sort of character, uh, Uh, at the end of the Power Ranger movie. Oh, yeah. So, yeah. You know, they said like, you know, we're gonna, we're gonna stop you., we're gonna make this world where everyone can live in and be free, like, free from either the Emissary or a br. And they're like ready to, like, they're charging 'em, they're ready to fight. And all of a sudden you just see,, Cassidy, , her body, like just one part of her arm just disappears. And she starts screaming. And then we start to see what this thing is, because it's a metaphor, but it's a bras is a metaphor. This is an entity that is, , pure chaos. And we start to see that this ship is this like gross slimy, you, I'm gonna use this word, I'm gonna use this word. Nobody. It's moist. Oh no. This ship. Oh no. It's moist in all sorts of unimaginable colors that only nobody knows can see. Oh God.

Nobody Knows:

I have shot myself in my old hell.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

and there are like eyes everywhere and, and amorphous teeth everywhere. That's in case , , , this ship. And it's everywhere, including like the liquid that surrounds these, the pods that the, uh, power ranger soda characters are in. And that's what we realized that this whole uhor is made out of, uh, shaath, which is another, , thing in love, crafty and fiction where it's like this, , I don't even know how it describe it. It's just this like sentient blob thing that eats people. I does it eat, I'm not sure if it eats people or not, but it's got teeth. So I'm assuming that it eats people. It's got teeth in a bunch of eyes and it eats people and it's used to like protect, , I forget where they're called the, they called the ancient ones, like the early ones or something. Some sort of like prehuman, , like klu, like civilization of, of people. Or entities and yeah, so it's just this giant thi like, slime thing. And it, at the end of the story, it, it devours everyone and, and, and a practice is released upon the earth and, and reeks upon his, his, uh, world of darkness. And that's the end. Very happy, very

Nobody Knows:

happy. No, no sadness at all, man. Yeah. Yeah. I, I, we've talked about this before, but like, I, I dig the story., I think one of the, , the things that would like super would be super cool, , especially if it was like a comic book or whatever is like having like, uh, , , like you could mess around with images a lot, right? Where it's like, you know, like maybe making the suits very like clean and like, uh, like very, like, I don't know, imaginatively, like when you think of like idealistic superhero, kind of like, when I think of like, uh, when Gohan, um, Mr. Seman, Superman or whatever, like that. Like where it's like these costumes are over the top and supposed to be good and stuff like that, but like, , a thin veil between this utter horrifying reality.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Oh, do, do, I just remember this is also a rip The show's also rip off of what, but Donka Magic. I forgot about that one too. Oh

Nobody Knows:

yeah. Do you wanna be a magical girl? Hey man, be a magical girl. Yeah, you'd be totally fine. Nothing, nothing to worry about at all,

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

but yeah. Yeah, I think you, I think you kind of hit upon it like there's like this, um, shal, I don't, not, there's like this sort of like shining armor, like shal wrist, , like childlike idea , that this appis character is trying to sell these kids on, or like these teenagers on. And, and actuality it's, it's not that at all kind of how, , I forget what the, the cat thing tries to sell, uh, Medo Magic on like the, the magical girl, like sort of costumes and stuff. Mm. Um,

Nobody Knows:

my question was gonna be like, if you had to choose, like if you had the power to choose whatever medium this was gonna be in, what medium do you think this , was gonna work best on? I, I'm thinking probably comic book or anime, but I'm biased cause I like comic books at anime, and manga. Roscoe Sweatsuit: Yeah. I think if I had to pick, I think I would definitely, I want it to be, I think it's perfect for a comic book series, especially a very, very short comic book series. I think I wouldn't see this series longer than like, maybe six chapters, but like big chapters probably, I'd say maybe like a three volume, like Tonle Bond series maybe. But in color. Okay. Yeah. I'm trying to think if there's any more questions. Yeah. I, I liked your story. I think it's thing, and I think, I think it, I like, like you were saying earlier, like I think it's a way that people haven't took power injuries, but I think it really works because Yeah. I think, I think it leans into like a lot of power Rangers is just like an innately, blatantly believing in something. Right? You like, you know, the kids believe in Jordan on Right. They believe in their teamworks or whatever, but this kind of like retroactively destroys all

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

that. Yeah. The, they believe that they have no choice, that they have to, , pilot this robot so they can save humanity and hopefully save the people that they care about. Yeah. For the greater. For the greater good. Maybe that's the thing. They try to believe in the greater good.

Nobody Knows:

Oh, oh, oh. I remember. Other thing, , you know there's the class warping time. What is the thing that these teenagers with attitudes say when they're getting there? It's robot. It's just sadness. Sadness.. It's

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

I don't even know what they'd say. It's, uh, man, fuck. I guess we gotta do this shit

Nobody Knows:

again.. Roscoe Sweatsuit: Cause I don't like, go back in this, this robot. And so do they just get it's um, in boon? What happens is they just get summoned. Like, it's kinda like, Hey, you gotta, you got it's time. Yeah. So put the work, which, which one of you kids is gonna die today? Yeah. Boo. That team was kind of fucked up. Where? Like chilling. Nothing's happening. Oh shit. It's time for choices.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Yeah, I think there should be some kind of catchphrase maybe. Like I think they, if I'm, if I'm going through like a full satire sort of story, I think they have to have some kind of thing. I don't know, it's so hard to beat Morphin time. Like what do we get? Like, especially in like the next three seconds, like, what is it? It's uh, it's changing season. I, I don't know,

Nobody Knows:

changing season bit. Um, yeah. Right, right. Cool. But yeah, I like your story. Is there anything you would like to add or, , thing like, I, I think it's solid, the story. I think, I think it's complete., obviously there's probably stuff you can do and like, you know, going into more the details for probably flush out a lot of the things you wanna say in the story, but , for a pitch, I think it's a pretty complete pitch in my opinion., I don't immediately think of , stuff to like, add on to it, in my opinion.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Yeah. I think I just, part of the work is gonna be really figuring out who these characters are and like, Understanding the, like the back stories and stuff like that. I think I have a decent amount of the world building stretched out., and there's a beginning, there's somewhat of a middle, and there's definitely an end. So I think in terms of that, it's like, it's , it's pretty strong coming out the gate.

Nobody Knows:

Yeah. Oh, you know, don't get in robot. I messed that up. All right. Um, I guess, I guess I, I'm next, like I say that like there's someone

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

else here. Uh, yeah. Cuz next up is you. Nobody, nobody before you do this. Nobody. I swear to God, I swear if you're like, if you say that, oh you know, I haven't given this much thought. This is very rough and you proceed to give, to do the same shit again. I will, I will travel to wherever you are, . We both know how many hours away that is by plane. And I will. I, I don't know. I don't know what I'll do, but I'll do something. I got you. Uh, I'll, I'll come up with what I'm gonna do on the plane ride.

Nobody Knows:

you marking it down? Oh, I'm talking to plan. Uh, yeah. So, yeah. Um, yeah, I, I would pitch my, my, I'll start pitching to my story. I guess I'll start off where, where we start off and I'll think about like the title, the cover story. The cover of, like the

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

cover. If I had to think of one,

Nobody Knows:

I would probably tie with this The Useless Power Ranger. That would probably be the title I would go with. It would be like, useless Power Ranger. And if I had to think of the cover, , I would think of like a, uh, you know, the Power Ranger helmets, like on a shelf maybe, or maybe like small figurines of the Power Rangers or whatever, you know, the red and blue or whatever. And then like below that, the shelf is like a drawing of like It's like a sketch of a power ranger, but it's like a weird mix of a Power Ranger and, , year one Batman, where it's like, it seems to have a whole bunch of gadgets and a whole bunch of other stuff on it., that's not really traditionally a part of the Power Rangers things, if that makes sense. Yeah. So, , that's would probably be discovered and the title would be,, useless, the Useless Power Ranger., so I guess like, to give a little bit, like before we start popping the story, like, , one of the things about the Power Rangers that I found very interesting was like, , how should I say this? So I guess, I guess what I'm trying to say, I think what makes the Power Rangers interesting is like how they are this team that there's a whole bunch of cool stuff together, but like with, with a lot of like real life teams, I feel like there's linchpins. That keeps things working,, and working smoothly. Like, you know, everyone loves to go see a concert of their favorite artists, but no one cares about the technicians that work like eight hours to try to get everything for the concert working. Right, right., if they didn't do their jobs, the experience of the whole concert would go down. Like people wouldn't like it as much, but they are definitely not the focal point of the whole concert. Right. And I think, yeah, my, my classically, like, what I've been doing with pretty much all my pitches is focusing on someone else, then main characters and that's when , my thing leans on. So like, you see five Power Rangers, people, , in their suits or whatever, and their suits are like, not like the original Power Ranger suits. If you think of 'em, they're like not as like cohesive. They seem like if someone decided to like, Keep some of the theme of the pie Rangers or whatever, and then , made their own suits, , and, made it more personal to them. So you see all four or five of these people and they are fucked up., , , they have cuts and bruises and , they're like, one of them has their like arm and this like makeshift sling and they are like kind of in like this, hiding spot behind this dumpster and they're kind of talking to each other and they're like, , there is no way to stop this dude. Like, he is impossible., he's, he knows all our moves. He knows how to beat us and stuff like that. And it's, it's sort of this conversation but sort of an argument where it's they are kind of blaming each other for like not being good enough. So it's like, oh, you know, if you could have just moved this thing, I could have had this shot to take this person out or whatever. and, , all in the background we're kind of hearing like this, like this, like general destruction in mayhem happening. While, like these power Rangers are moving through the city, like people are actively like breaking into stores and stuff like that, and they're, they, the power rangers just are too hurt or just don't care at this time and stuff like that. Like, there's this, this essence of like, chaos happening and the , these power Rangers are like talking to each other and arguing , the red Ranger kind of speaks up, ands like, so it's like, stop it. This is not gonna help anything. We, we need AAW in Wayne. And they kind of like, kind of look at each other and he is like, yo, like, like Wayne, Wayne Johnson. He's like, yeah, like he was the one that helped us beat him the first time or , help with that whole situation the first time. He's the one that's gonna have to help us with this time. And they're like, okay. And it kind of like flash paddles into a, uh, like these power rangers breaking into this person's home. Kind of like they knock and stuff, but they, they kind of break into this person's home. And in the house they find two things. They find like this first like riddle thing, and it takes some a very quick, like it wasn't, it was like, it's not a super difficult riddle, but like they, they, uh, they figured out , what's this riddle's like leading to, it's like leading to this location near the docks and it's like abandoned, um , warehouse, but like it's kind of scratched out. Like it's kind of like in a weird way, like scratched out, like it seemed like someone placed this here, then someone else came and scratched out all the stuff that was like, important for it or whatever. And, and then they found this, this orb, right? And as soon as they see the orb, they're like, They generally know what this is thing they thing. It's like something that's like, kind of like known in their read verse where it's like a, this is like a recording device that records total moments, right? So it gives like the user, like it, the way this works is like, , you have an access code, , and what you call, you enter the action code and then it shows you the total picture of like what was happening in this space. So it includes jump cuts too. So the big thing's easy r b, right? So like, it, it, it's like this edited, it's like this hyper edited, um, immersive video, if that makes sense. And they're looking at this thing and they realized like the way the code for this one is just literally all four or five of these people touching the ball at the same time. So like, whoever put this here meant this video for them and it can only be watched when they're all watching it together. This is when we get kind of into the lore, we have to talk about the lo and stuff about, , , the world or whatever. So, , in this world, the Power Rangers was, was kind of started by more of like a, not by like an, an alien entity or anything, like coming down to tell 'em what to do. It was just kind of like these kids were like at a party and um, something like Black Goo kind of exploded and it gave a whole bunch of people powers., kind of, if you are a fan of the original Static Shocks, um, not the original, but like , , the TV four kids, static Socks I used to come on, on morning tv. Like that kind of origin where it's like everyone's just having a good time and then something happened. And this ew gave people powers in this, party based on Bang Babies. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, and They all got these powers and they sped up and pretty much, um, the way this kind of worked out was like all these people discovered their powers and, um, started to do like, uh, good or bad things. Like some people tried to start being here or some people were actively being villains or whatever, but like these group of four people wanted to be heroes, but they kind of sucked at it like they were really bad, um, at being heroes. And the, the reason that they became the Power Rangers or the, the reason that the Power Rangers for was because of this guy named Wayne. And Wayne was a kid that was at this party too, but wasn't like, didn't get any of these powers or anything like that, but he saw like these guys have powers and they could really change the. And so pretty much what this dude effectively did was became their sort on. And this guy is , not like an older person. This guy is like the same age as these guys and this is all happening in like, you know, high school and stuff like that, right? So he kind of pretty much like effectively becomes their sword on and he teaches them, Hey, this is how we should probably work. He gives 'em these, like these, um, their power Ranger outfits. And another thing about Wayne is , he's really into the details. So like he was actively developing stuff to make the Power Rangers better. So like, , in this world, the Power Rangers, , powers aren't all the same., there's like all slightly difference in certain similar ways. Like someone's like slightly more elemental, someone's just like, oh, I'm really strong, or I'm fast, or whatever. And, um, like Wayne would develop things to make these guys better or like, , be able to use their power more effectively. And the long and short of it is like Wayne and this, their Power Rangers became super effective. They first were just like hometown, kind of like superhero, neighborhood superhero, and then eventually started hitting bigger and bigger threats. And , like people love them, but for the most part, no one, by the most part, no one knows who Wayne is. He's like the guy behind the mass or behind the curtain that's helping them. These, heroes do what they do, but as time progressed, these heroes start getting, let's say like more noticed and like more, more opportunities cut to them. And the, the gist of what happens is that like, , a lot of these, the superheroes, , these, a lot of these power rangers become, um, like government sponsored and they pretty much leave Wayne in the dust, right? Like they're still technically quote unquote friends with Wayne, but , they are like being backed by the military. Now they get like military, great heart, um, thing. Some of them are backed by like just billionaire at Fevers and they like have their own scientists. So like all the work that Wayne used to do kind of got like, um, like put on a backend because they had these other people that are paying them and also giving them even more like cooler gadgets and stuff like that. And Wayne was really trying to , keep the group together and said like, Hey, you know, you guys should work as a team. You know, you, you guys are, are getting more powerful and stuff like that. Um, and sorry, this is a, a quick side note I probably want to put at the beginning is the way this goo works in this world is like the longer you have your powers or the longer you're using your powers, the stronger you get. So it's like, it's like a muscle, but imagine if a muscle kit had like an unlimited amount of like, um, growth. Like there's no upper limit like genetics or anything to stop you from having the muscle become stronger. So very sand like in a way very what of super San like, oh

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

yeah. The, it's only as, it's only as strong as like, I guess I'm thinking like, when you say that, I'm starting to think like, like Chronicle. Mm-hmm., like it's only it goes as far as you choose not to be a dick. Yeah.

Nobody Knows:

As they use their powers, they immediately get stronger and stronger and stronger. And so pretty much like, uh, at least the way I think I describe it to you is like this team that used to be like a real team and call, like, um, where's their Power Rangers becomes the Justice League, right? Where it's like, these guys are so powerful, they kind of just handle their stuff by themself and they maybe come together at some point to handle even bigger problems, but like they're, they're all powerful enough to just handle stuff on their own, so they're not really a team anymore. So this, this all happens and pretty much the short of it is Wayne gets shunned out. Like the Power Rangers might visit them maybe once a year or so, or one of them, or two of them. But like they're, he's kind of like left in the dust and all the work and stuff he did., Gets no credit for it. No one talks about him. Everyone kind of forgot 'em. Um, and like, um, this story kind of takes place between, , power Rangers when they get their power all the way up till, their 20 fives, 20 sevens or whatever. So like for a good three or four years now, the Power Rangers are like, there's pretty much superheroes and , Wayne has been this like person in the dust, , and kind of like, uh, a forgotten leg, a memory of this, of the group or the beginning of the group that's just like trying to live a normal life. And that's like his, that's like the backstory of the Power Rangers and, oh, oh,

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

we'll move on. Hold on. I, I just, I just, I just realized, I just made the connection, uh, Wayne. And then you talked about in your first cover, like you had him like Batman. So he's like Bruce Wayne. Yeah, yeah,

Nobody Knows:

yeah.. So, uh, but unfortunately less cool. But yeah. So this, he doesn't have the power of money on his side. Yes. He's just a regular dude that got left behind. And I think that's another thing, right? Like he got left behind the way where the Power Rangers didn't help him get wealthy either. He's just a normal dude that kind of helped make something great that no one cares, , cares that he helped with., they, these, these power rangers are, uh, pretty like, well off and witched now. They definitely don't have to worry about any, , financial things anymore, but they didn't cut Wayne into any of that, um, which would, like most people would be bitter about, but Layton doesn't, is not bitter about it, but it's still like a thing. You know what I'm trying to say? They didn't help this dude at all. They just , they used him and forgot him for real, pretty much. This, you get all this, like this flashback of this, the power interest pass and stuff like that. And then it forces back to this, like this moment when they're all about to touch this orb and they all do it. It cuts to, , the warehouse that was like written on this, like paperwork that was like scratched out or whatever. And it is, uh, it's Wayne tied to this chair. Um, and he's like slowly waking up and he is like, what's going on? Uh, and this person comes, steps out the shadow and , he's like, Wayne, it's been a long time your motherfucker. And , this dude is this, , this villain that the, the power engineer, the power know, um, is, um, I'm gonna, uh, what's a, I'm trying to think of a name for AB now. Uh, what's a good villain name for someone that uses gravity?

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Uh, Uh,

Nobody Knows:

Newton. Newton. So, yeah, Newton, so he goes by Newton and this dude is, is talking a whole bunch of, pretty much, right? He's like, this dude is like, yo, yo, you thought you trapped me in this thing and you, you, you guys are dumb. And he is like, I can't win until I get the Power Rangers here. So I could beat their out for what they did to me. And like, you know, he's saying a whole bunch of stuff that probably doesn't connect to the reader right now, but you, you pretty much find out that Newton was a, a henchman. I guess you could say he was a henchman to the big evil boss. So if you think of like Lady Raposa, if you think of the second in command for Lady Raposa, this would, this dude would be at or whatever., and his story is pretty much. Um, he worked for this like big evil villain for a long time that fought against the Power Rangers, and he was kind of this formula that's like this, this four that calmly pumps up against the Power Rangers. And he was pretty strong. And he was also like, he was also another kid that showed up in the, uh, the like what was at the party too. So his powers are based on the same things that these Power Rangers powers are based off of. And pretty much he was like tooken in by this big evils person's like ideals. And he followed them. And, , the gist of it, this, this big evil villain person, um, this like Lady Raposa person really treated him like, like he would, they would always say like, his ideas were bad, even though they were probably pretty good., they were like, he would like actively do most of the work while like Lady Raposa or like this, this, this big evil bad person did absolutely nothing as they, he got his ex beat pretty much by the Power Rangers. Cut, cut to fuck that fight back. Uh, um, and pretty much he decides to like, uh, he has this like coming of like age moment or coming this turning point moment. He switches sides. He joins the Power Rangers to help him , beat the, the big evil bad person for the last final time. So he switched his sides to help him. But like the way that the Red Ranger has told this story was Newton betrayed the Power Rangers at the last moment. Like the big evil dude convinced him to stay on his side the last, at the last moment. And the Power Rangers had to force him into this, like McGuffin with the big evil bad guy. And the McGuffin thing that they forced him into was a lot like the, uh, the Phantom Zone. Yeah. Pretty much like a lot like with the Phantom Zone, where it's like you're not dead, but you're not alive really. It's just a pretty much. Ex existential terror and, and, and, and existence, um, in this, in this like world or whatever. Um, so he got,

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

I, I just imagine, I just imagined the dmv. Yeah. He's like, we passed you to the DMV forever.

Nobody Knows:

No. Fuck no. I just wanted to get my license.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

your number will never get called ever.

Nobody Knows:

Yeah. So yeah. So he, he, he got banished into this, like this, the same zone that this big evil gad bad guy, um, because he betrayed the Power Ranger as a lot moment. That's what the power, the Red Ranger says at least. And, you know, the Red Rangers version of the story kind of stuck because, you know, he's the red rag. People believe what he says.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

This, this, this just reminds me of like, uh, when cops plant drugs.

Nobody Knows:

Yeah, yeah. He is totally fine. Yeah, he's totally right. Whatever. Right? So yeah. This, this building is here and he's talking to, he's talking to Wayne. And Newton's like talking, Newton's talking a lot of shit. Cause like, um, like the other Power Rangers, since he has been, since time has passed and he has been practicing his power, his power has been getting a lot stronger. So like the, the Newton, he, they knew like maybe , four or five years ago is legitimately strong now. Like he's, he's, he's, uh, he's way more stronger. And I guess like, if I had to put it into the scales, like the Power Rangers are now, so if you think of the Power Rangers being more like the Justice League and like you think of , you know, the Red Rangers probably like Superman, the Blue Ranger is probably like Aquaman or something like that. I would say this, this Newton character has become Thanos and , in like a really strong way where it's like, bro, this dude's power is just ridiculous at this point., in a way, like, uh, maybe, maybe not that strong. Let me actually hold back. How would I put it? Not Thanos level. What's a good, like mid villain?

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Uh, not dark side. Uh, not green. Goling. Ooh. Oh, ooh. What about like, um, like the Cree? Yeah,

Nobody Knows:

maybe. Yeah. That, that would work. Like, I would say like the Cree or maybe like, um, uh, Dr. Doom? Yeah, like Dr. Doom, Dr. Doom decree. Oh,

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

what about Magni? Oh,

Nobody Knows:

there you go. Yes. That's a perfect one, like magnet where it's like, bro, you don't want to just , he's not like the world ending threat, but he's definitely a guy. You just don't want to just like go hands with, just generally Right. All by yourself. He might

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

not fuck up the world, but he'll definitely fuck up your

Nobody Knows:

Yeah. Pretty much. Pretty much. Right. So he's at like this level and he's like talking to Wayne and he is like, yo, Wayne, I, I can't wait until these power Rangers come here. And when they come here I'm gonna fuck their day, and then I'm gonna kill you, and then I'm gonna go do the evil shit that I meant, I was meant to do. And like, Wayne's like sitting there and he is like listening to this and he is like, bro, they are not gonna come. And like, and dude's like, yo, what? He was like, bro, these guys are not gonna come and save me. I, I like, I, I know you've, you know, you know, you might think I'm lying or shit, but like these guys. Don't remember me. Like they, they don't give a fuck about me, honestly. Like, Newton's like, no man. Like you guys were best friends. You guys used to hang out. You guys hang out all the time. There's no way they're not gonna come save you. This is like, this is a nice little ploy to make you think that they don't care about you. And he's like, bro, it's been four years and I would've probably seen one of these people like maybe once, right in, in like, like four or five years, maybe once or twice. And like, this dude dudes kind of like befuddled in a way where he is like, uh, really like you, you, you were like the, the guy, like you were the guy that they would go to and you would you help them like defeat me like a couple times. And you like, they use your interventions and shit. Like, what? What do you mean they're not gonna help you? And he is like, bro, like everything's changed. And um, kind of Wayne kind of tells them like kind of what happened where , hey, they got stronger, they got sponsored and they kind of like left them in the box. This dude is this Newton dude's like, No way. And he gives it a couple days. So it's like been like seven days since like the, the first, , like this, like he's been first kidnapped and no one has come. Newton's like, like, uh, like it's like every day like trying to be like, okay, I'm ready. I'm gonna show him out. Like I'm, he's, he has this, this whole like, this whole like speech ready and stuff like that. And like every time Wayne's like kind of telling him like, Hey, that's what's not gonna happen bro. Like, you might as well just let me go cuz they do not give a fuck about me. And he's like, no, I left, I left like clues in their house, I've, I've like destroyed part of their neighborhood. Like they're, they're definitely going to figure out that I have you and they're gonna come and, and like rescue you or whatever. Right. But Wayne is right, and like for the, at least for the first like seven days or something, no one comes or whatever. So this becomes more of a conversation between Wayne and um, Newton and. Um, I guess before this conversation happens, um, the orb kind of shuts off for a little bit., because the way this orb works is like as soon as someone takes off their hand, the video stops. It like stops until like that hand's put back on there. And, , once they figure it out, like, this whole time relax and stuff like that, the, the power rangers kind of immediately start getting into a scuffle, being like, yo, what the fuck happens? How, how did no one check up on this dude? Like, he's our, he was our friend, he is our friend, and all this other stuff, and they become in this like, little argument about this thing. Oh, and if it hasn't been clear, Newton is the problem that they're dealing with right now. Newton is the one that's currently fucking them up, , at this point or whatever, and they're like trying to kind of figure out like, how long has this been? It's always, it's always at least seven days ago, but like, It might be more, it's, it's weird that they have this like conversation where it's like, how could we let like a friend like this, like that was like kind of integral to our beginnings and our business just end up in a situation like this and knowing us, like none of us like knowing what's going on or whatever. And they just kind of blame each other. But they, uh, they kind of all calm down and they, , they like, uh, try to like focus on like, Hey, either way we still have to find Wayne, cuz Wayne's our best shot to beat Newton., let's figure, let's finish the video and then we can like, figure out how to save, save Wayne. And then we can stop, we can stop Newton and then everything will go good. And like, this is a, this is a mistake that we can rectify, right? Like, we know we shouldn't, like, like we, we should have forgot. We shouldn't have forgot our friends. Right. That's why they kind of clu on order. So yeah, , the rest of the like comic or or video that these, these guys are watching is. Conversations that like Newton, and Wayne are having, and a lot of the conversations are kind of like, Hey, , didn't you have a relationship with the pink Ranger? And like, Wayne's like, yeah, we used to be used to have a relationship in high school, but like that all shit that all that changed and stuff like that. And like Newton is like just pretty much like trying to talk about like each ranger and how like their relationship kind of falled off and like Wayne kind of reliving it where it's like, yeah, I used to have this relationship with Blue Rangers. Like we used to be really good friends, but as soon as he got sponsored by this building there, things changed. He tried to come in, I tried to like, help him out with stuff. He would refuse my stuff. And , I guess , I guess if we had to say the next few chapters are just him when kind of telling Newton or we calling these stories of like, how each one of these relationships has broken and don't really exist anymore., because of time, money, , greed or like, something happened. Right. And Newton's, they're, they're kind of like bonding in a way, like Newton and, and Wayne's kind of bonding in a way, cuz like Wayne has this pass of being like, underappreciated and Newton has the same pass, but just on like a villain side and a what or whatever. And like, you know, they talk about the Red Ranger too, and he is like, yo, you know, the Red Ranger is kind of an asshole, right? And he is like, yeah, the Red Rangers kind an asshole. And like, it's uh, it's like they talk about like, you know, how the Red Ranger has screwed, um, like Wayne tells him like how the Red Ranger screwed him over., pretty much like there's a chance that Wayne was gonna get a be like dragged across, like dragged along with the rest of the team. But the Ren Ranger kind of like, , cut that opportunity away from , Wayne. The way he, said, the way, the reason he said he did it was because, , he didn't want a normal, , friend that's just a regular human being to get hurt or whatever. But the way it came off was just more of like jealousy and envy. Like, he just didn't want this person to have this opportunity or whatever. And then Newton tells his story about like, what he thinks about the Red Ranger and his story is like, yo, the red Ranger kicked me into the, that, that, that phantom zone, right? Like, like I didn't portray anyone, like I was, I was really thinking about being a part of the cards, but for some reason this dude was just like, no, once a building, always a building. And like Spartan kicked him into this like, uh, this McGuffin at, right at the end as everything was like, um, happening. And like it was only him and the red Ranger in the room by himself, like at the time no one else knew. So that is like a lot of like the conversations that's happening as, as these conversations are happening, . Wayne is kind of doing stuff with Newton Newton's trying to get Wayne to tell him more about the Power Rangers, and Wayne is, uh, doing so, but he's not trying to like, give Newton all the information that he needs to pretty much destroy the Power Rangers or destroy the, I guess, the Justice League at this moment. Right. And, and it's obvious that Wayne knows how to do this. Um, like he knows a lot about the, the Rangers and their powers and how it works. And, um, Newton's been pretty much as this, this, this, you, as this goes on, this is like probably like two months in of this kidnapping or whatever. And, um, he's been testing like the response times of, of the Rangers. Like he's been like looking at like how they handle other villas and stuff like that. And he's like starting to plot and we're, we're kind of like running the bend of like wings, uh, usefulness, pretty much like, pretty much like, it's pretty obvious, like the Power Rangers aren't going to notice him, um, or like go to his house and find this thing or whatever. Or at least like that original Bri that like, , Newton planted or whatever. So he, he's like kind of being like, Hey, I'm gonna go destroy the Power Rangers, but like, why don't you become a villain? Like, why don't you join my side? Right? Like, obviously these guys don't give a fuck about you and they don't give a shit about you, and you are underappreciated, but now you can, like, this is your chance to show 'em. You can show 'em like the, the, the massive mistake they made. And he's like, and I know, you know how to, uh, to uh, to, to beat 'em. Because like, just from my conversations with you, you seem like a. That has been thinking about like, ways to kill these people. Like you've, you like, like, like you might have not been like actively thinking about it, but like, I think there's like a part of your mind, there's a part of your mind that you were, like, you were thinking like, you know, ways that you would kill these people if you had to think about it. And like, it kind of like this kind of flashed back to, to light. So Wayne, in like more of his private, uh, moments and like Wayne, it's not like a real, uh, like if you think of like the Batman's Doom protocol, , which is like the protocol that, , Batman's quote unquote uses to like destroy or enable, um, each one of the Justice League members, if he had it to. It's not that it's, it's that, but like, if it was like a sketch though, like it's like the beginnings of that, right? It's like, it's , like Wayne wasn't like fully committed of making this thing, but he definitely had like the ideas to do it. And he, and like he has this like you see of like start this sketchbook of like how he would've beat each one of the power Rangers if he had it to like, in his current state. And I think this is like the same sketchbook that suit is from the beginning, the title card of this like, uh, the series or whatever, right? And, uh, so they like, they're having this conversation and it gets heated and like, like, yo, just join my side. Like, I will, like, you could prove to him like you're strong. And like they, they were wet, their incision. Wayne like, kind of like comes to head and Wayne's kind of like saying, like he says, pretty much says like, Hey, I, I know these guys are assholes. Like, there's no ways around these guys, but like, I really believed in them. Like I really believed in the power. Like I believed in what they stood for. I believed their thing. And yes, they're not perfect now, but , like at least some of their values are the same or whatever. And I want, even though I know they're not going to come save me, like, and I wish, like I, I still wish they would. And I still believe in like that type of power interest, like the power interest that come together to stop like bad people and stop bad things from happening to like normal people like me. And I, like, I, I can't go against that. Like I can't, I, I like, I, I really dislike these people in a certain way and like I'm really bitter to some of them. But like, I still believe in the idea of the Power Rangers in a way. Pretty much, man. Like it's, it's amazing how the most useless power Rangers was like the most effective. And, and then that, and then, and that's like the last thing he says to this dude and like puts his hand on his shoulder and then he crushes his heart, , using his gravity powers. Oh, I forgot to tell. Yeah. Newton has gravity powers, so I have to make that clear. Um, and that's the where, uh, Wayne dies. And, um, as his video's ending, um, pretty much says like, uh, you see Newton kind of open up this book, um, that this sketchbook that, uh, Wayne was starting to make or whatever, and he kind of says like, well, I'm ready to kill the Power Rangers. I hope you guys are ready. And then that's where the video ends. And throughout this whole time, this video's happening, like, there's short breaks where like the Power Rangers are kind of discussing, I say discussion, but they're pretty much just arguing about like, who f whose fault this was.. , and they obviously get really upset when like, um, they figure out that like the Red Rangers kind of screwed over Wayne outta his opportunity and also kicked this person that was pretty much a good guy was turning into a good guy into the pit, making him into this incredible power problem. Now, you know what I'm trying to say? Mm-hmm. and like, that's like the end of the story from my, my perspective for, uh, at least that's all I thought about. Um, the Power Rangers kind of like, , I guess if it was the last panel or the last page or whatever would be just like the Power Rangers like hearing, like pretty much Wayne still believed in them even though they were kind of completely all shook to 'em and they're just kind of being like, like kind of saying like, fuck, I don't know what to do., and they're just sitting around this table with this, uh, this orb not really arguing anymore. Just kind of like letting everything sink in.. Okay.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

My question is, what, what genre do you think this is gonna be in? Or what medium would you put this in? Geez.

Nobody Knows:

I feel like it could be, I feel like it could be a comic book that's like maybe one or two issues, a semi one shot. I don't think it has enough like to be like a TV show or an anime or anything like that. Um, maybe a movie if you have someone, um, that's that's, that's good at like conveying the short story or whatever. But like, yeah, I think it would probably work as like a, um, one or two at max three, uh, issue series. I, I don't have any thoughts about continuing it, but I think that's where, like the story ends.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Would you ever, uh, watch this show as, , as a TV show, like an, uh, as like a DC Comics animate series? Uh,

Nobody Knows:

I, I would, I think. I think it just doesn't have a, I think at least the, the part that I'm focused on could only last for maybe like, I can, I think it can last two episodes. If you just do it generally, if you like dive into like why each one of the Power Rangers has like separated from this person, you could probably push maybe like three or four more episodes out of that. Um, and then if you, I guess like if you, I guess you can make a full series, like if you, if you focus on the, the Power Rangers, like at their current state when they're, their Justice league, the bad thing that happens or whatever, that's the first episode. And like them finding this orb, that's the first episode. The second episode is Deb talking about the orb. You get the initial stuff and then the next like four, three episodes is about how each one of the Power Rangers has pretty much forsaken Wayne and in the last. Uh, two episodes is like the conclusions of like, um, do they win or do they lose? Um, or so, or you could just end it there, make it a short series, like a short Netflix series, like 10 episodes or so. I mean, less than 10, probably like seven.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

How do you think, uh, Newton comes out of the, like, what do you think he learns at the end of the story?

Nobody Knows:

I think, I don't know. I guess like, I guess if you, if you, if you side with Newton, I think it's just like this, this idea of like, you know, people will use you. Like, uh, it's, I think at least when I think of the story, I think of like, uh, the quote where it's like, uh, if you don't build your dreams, people will use you to build theirs. Um, kind of like feeling where it's like, this dude spent a lot of time building like his big evil person's dreams or whatever, and then he kind of just focuses on his goals and. Now he's living his dreams. Um, I guess if he wins, he lives his dreams, but I don't know if he wins or not. Um, I leave that kind of ambiguous, ambiguous, but like, I think like Wayne and Newton are like a kind of products of these things where it's like they worked really, really hard to like put someone else on like a, a pedestal, but probably not a pedestal. That's the word. He worked really, really hard on someone else's dream. And it's, it really sucks when that same person like screws you over. Um, I, I, I know we had like a conversation about this or whatever, and I'm not saying like this is the same vein of like the people I'm gonna say now, but , I think of , like when artists. have this , like, oh yeah, you're my producer. Tilt the ed guy, you're gonna be my producer forever. You're gonna help me with my mixes forever. And they're like, this is when they were like underground or very like, like small time. And then they become big time. And that producer, uh, that has helped 'em make like these incredible works at the beginning gets, gets pretty much axed and no one thinks about that producer anymore.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Yeah. You don't need a lot of reason to come up with the incredible true story of, of, uh, of this

Nobody Knows:

Yeah. If, if you get the, if you know, you know, you get the reference, you get the records if you know, you know. Um, but yeah, so , I think it's like that and like, obviously this one's like a way more extreme version of. Uh, but yeah, I think that's like what Newton comes off where it's like this like idea of like being used, um, is, or, or being like, um, um, a part of this, a system that doesn't really care about him. And I think that's what, like the main thing he's trying to convince Wayne, where it's like, we, we are the same and this is why you should be on my side. And I think Wayne agrees, but like, I think Wayne agrees with like, I think the difference between him and Wayne is like saying like, just because like I volunteered for something doesn't mean like I should be mad with the results of volunteering. Like, I guess it's like the very, like the same sense of like, you know, you should do good things because there you want to do good things, not because there's like rewards and good things attached to doing the good

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

thing. Hmm. At the end of the story, do you see, uh, what the Power Rangers reactions are to. Being exactly what, what Newton said they were just to having them having sold, not sold the, um, the other guy out, but like they did not care enough about him to take notice of whether or not his life was in danger.

Nobody Knows:

Um, yeah, I think they, I think you do. I think this is like, I think the more and more, like, especially with this argument, I think you, it's important to get like this power Rangers reaction too. Cause like for them, this video maybe be like an hour long, but like this, this thing has like, you know, been taking this thing like, uh, Wayne was a hos for at least like three months, um, by Newton. Um, and I think, I think like the very last reaction, which is like the last, uh, the ending of the story is like, uh, them kind of just in shock. Like I think they just don't know what quite to feel. I think they definitely feel guilty. because like, this could have been handled in a, like, if they just remembered their friend, this, this would've been, this wouldn't have been a non-issue. But I think, um, especially like each one of the Power Rangers are like feeling either very bad or sad in a very specific way because the way they ended their relationship with, with Wayne and like, you know, a lot of the, a lot of the way that they frame it, I think this is gonna be like a common theme. If I had to, like, if I had more time to write this thing or whatever, a common thing I would say is like, a lot of the way that the Rangers frame this, like the relationship is like, we're still friends. I'm just gonna be like, busy. Like we're, we're just friends in a different way. Like, we're still cool with stuff like that. But like, I think Wayne Solid or like had the reality of like, they're never gonna talk to me again. And he, he was kind of right., they were saying they was gonna have this cool relationship, but I like when this thing started to happen, Wayne realized that like, nah, they're never going to talk to him again. And he was right. Hmm. Yeah, man, I

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

think that, I think that's

Nobody Knows:

a cool episode. Yeah. So that's, uh, that's, uh, the useless Ranger.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Sounds good, man. I can't, I'm gonna find, I'm gonna find you. Nobody. What, what? Find Cause you did. You did. You did it again. I did. I I'm like, oh

Nobody Knows:

man. I didn't say it. I didn't say it that time, I don't think. Yeah, you did in the beginning. Look it up. Wait back the tape. I got receipts. I got receipts. Um, well, um, if you somehow listen to our pitch, you know, uh, let us know what you think. Um, what would you do with the Power Rangers? Do you like our pitches of the Power Rangers? Why do you like the Power Rangers and is the comic book of Power Rangers good?

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

I would think it is. I'd, I'd say check

Nobody Knows:

it out. Yeah. Uh, do you have any more questions or things before we end up Ed, uh, Roscoe? Nope. Okay. All right. Um, yeah, so, um, if you made free this thing, thank you so much for listening. Um, definitely put in your, your, your thoughts or your ideas and comments or, you know, tell us ways that we can maybe do this better or do it worse, whatever, whichever way you feel your cosmic, uh, compass is pointed today. And Yeah. Um, you know, if, uh, if you like the stuff like it, um, if you don't, don't anything you wanna say roco. Hmm.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

Is there anything I wanna say? Uh, you know, keep it pushing. Everything is neon. Judas, Gillian, uh, sorry, I

Nobody Knows:

guess, but you apologize for

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

I don't know. Everything. Okay.

Nobody Knows:

Well, We, me, me and Roco. If

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

you made it to the end of this video,

Nobody Knows:

I'm sorry. Me and Rosco give us, give you our deepest, sorry. Um, we don't know what we did, but we definitely gotta best on something sued. It's an early apology video.

Roscoe Sweatsuit:

What we did was unconscionable. It was not cool. And I just, we just wanna, we just want to apologize to all of our fans, not all the people that we wronged. Um, fuck those people, specifically our fans. Cuz we need money. We need money. People give us money, may not like it, but at least we're honest. Just kidding. Um,

Nobody Knows:

all right, cool. Right? Um, yeah. Thanks for watching you guys. Um, and take it easy. Take it easy. Base beast.
