What does it truly mean to believe? This central question sits at the very heart of the Book of James: our true beliefs aren’t revealed by the words we speak when things are easy, but by how we act and respond when life gets heavy.
Our attitudes and behaviors under pressure show what we are truly relying on. In this message, we walk through James to look at what happens when our faith is put under pressure. True faith doesn't mean pretending painful things are good—God never asks us to fake a smile through real trauma, grief, loss, or brokenness. Instead, scripture invites us to look beyond the trial to see the character, endurance, and hope God is building inside of us.
