On this episode of the Trailblazing Nursing podcast, USF College of Nursing Dean Usha Menon, PhD, RN, FAAN, FSBM, reconnects with one of her friends and mentors, Dr. Victoria Champion, to discuss how the field of nursing research has evolved to emphasize evidence-based practices that lead to real-world implementation, and the importance of PhD applications in nursing to continue this work. 

Dr. Champion serves as the Associate Director of Community Outreach and Population Research at Indiana University Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center and has contributed decades of funded research that have improved the lives of thousands of cancer patients.

This episode marks the end of season 4 of Trailblazing Nursing. We look forward to returning in season 5 with more episodes, more nursing leaders, and more conversations to drive the profession forward!
