This is Sam and Karine, and we are Two Onc Docs! We both graduated from our Heme/Onc fellowships in 2021 and became board certified in both Hematology and Oncology. Our mission with Two Onc Docs is to create short board review episodes that you can listen to on your drive to work, while you make your morning coffee, or between pages on call. This week’s episode will be focusing on an ASCO 2026 Plenary abstract, SARC 041. SARC041 is the first positive phase 3 randomized controlled trial of a CDK4/6 inhibitor in advanced dedifferentiated liposarcoma (DDLPS), demonstrating that abemaciclib significantly improves progression-free survival compared to placebo.
