Grief is a very personal journey, especially for couples grieving the loss of a child. Each person processes differently, each in their own way, and in their own time. In this week's episode, Ed Gould shares how he and his wife Lynn reacted and coped very differently after the sudden loss of their son Matthew; and how they found common ground on which to walk together along their path to healing. This interview was recorded just before the 10th "anniversary" of Matthew's passing.
Ed is very open about the cause of Matt's death, the last words he shared with his 22-year-old son, how he still talks to him every night, and the gratefulness he carries with him now, for the time they had together. And he has a message for other grieving fathers. You are not alone.
