Robert Militello Intro
Eric SuttonHello, welcome back to that's in the Bible. My name is Eric, glad you could join us for another episode of that's in the Bible. Today's topic God and Politics, part 2. And, if you recall, we did God and Politics a few episodes back, part 1. And that was with Brother Robert Militello, who is also with us again today. Brother Militello, how are you today?
Robert MilitelloThank God, I'm doing well and it's an important time for me to speak on this subject. Brother, I mean Donald Trump is going back to the White House.
Eric SuttonAmen, yes, he is Yep. And you know, one of the things I'll be glad the election cycle is over now for is the constant text messages I got. I almost uh could look at my phone and, quite frankly, I was tempted not to vote, just in spite of all these text messages. But of course I did vote anyway amen, amen.
Robert MilitelloI. I get them on my phone here, but that's expected, that's not unusual. We live in a day of constant interruptions, brother.
Eric SuttonConstant interruptions. That's exactly what it was. Well, I'm anxious to get you started. Let me play your intro and we'll let you go and let you get started, okay, all right, here you go.
IntroductionIt's now time for the Bible study brought to you by That'sInTheBiblecom. If you are able to, may we suggest that you get your King James Bible and follow along as Brother Robert Militello from Pensacola, Florida, brings us this study. And now here is Brother Robert Militello.
Robert MilitelloWell, amen. It's quite a day American history has been made. Donald Trump was elected the other night. He'll go back to the White House, god willing. January 20th will be the inauguration date. This has not happened except one time in American history, going back in the late 1800s. Grover Cleveland was also a New Yorker. He had served as mayor of Buffalo and quite a president. He was defeated and came back for a second term. And a very religious man, a very good president, in my opinion. He's on a thousand-hull of deal. They don't make them anymore, but Grover Cleveland was a Democrat and he's the only other. He's the first president ever to do that until Donald Trump the other night pulled off.
Robert MilitelloI'm not going to say it was a miracle A lot of people were not surprised by it but obviously one of the greatest comebacks in American political history. I know about politics. I followed it all my life and it's an extraordinary thing. God this morning, for the opportunity to talk to brothers and sisters in Christ and caution them. Caution them. We have an enemy who goeth about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour and his will. His strategy is to distract god's people from the business at hand and that's why I want to talk. That's what I want to talk about this morning. Don't underestimate the ability of the enemy to turn your eyes more now on donald trump and what he can do as opposed to Jesus Christ and the fact that, if you're saved, you must appear one day at the judgment seat of Christ and give an account. So the devil will be working overtime, now that Donald Trump is going back into the White House, to get Christians to put more and more hope in him, rather than our Savior Looking unto him, our Savior, the author and finisher of our faith. So I caution you and this is what this teaching is all about Turn first.
Robert MilitelloWe're going to look at a few scriptures Daniel, chapter 4. Daniel, chapter 4. Daniel, chapter 4, verse 17,. Very apropos to what is happening in our day Now. Nebuchadnezzar had pride. He was taken down from power and he was put back into power. Now think of that. It was taken down. Donald Trump was taken down in the election of 2020 and brought back in 2024.
Robert MilitelloNow it's an extraordinary thing. What has happened in American politics? It ran against two women and, on two occasions, stopped a woman from being placed as head of the United States. The Lord intervened. No doubt. He put Donald Trump in there from nowhere a political nobody to stop Hillary Clinton in 2016, as she thought she would get crowned, break the glass ceiling and become the first woman to sit in the White House. He stopped it. Then along comes Kamala Harris after Joe Biden goes off into the sunset, and again the Lord brings Donald Trump in to stop her from getting into the White House. If this is an obvious signal that the Lord manipulates and operates behind the scenes, I remember the Wizard of Oz, that man behind the curtains pulling all the levers and rods. He knows what he's doing and he's got a plan. And he brought back Donald Trump, in my opinion, for a certain idea and objective, and I'll discuss that in a little while.
Robert MilitelloBut first take caution here. Look at verse 17 in Daniel 4. It says bringing back Nebuchadnezzar. This matter is by the decree of the watchers and the demand, by the word of the holy ones, to the intent that the living may know that the Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men and giveth it to whomsoever he will Now remember.
Robert MilitelloGod put Pontius Pilate over his son, jesus Christ. He put a man in there who was able to admit three times. This man is not guilty, he's innocent, meaning Jesus Christ, and yet he was condemned. Yet he was condemned. So what do you say about these people that are put in power and give it to whomsoever he will, and what? Here's the last part of verse 17, and set it up over it, over what the kingdom of men, the basis of men, the basis of men, now might, as well as donald trump, looked upon that way by the Lord Jesus Christ. Well, you answer that you be the judge. Who does he put in power? Now, he's put good people in power.
Robert MilitelloAs far as many of our presidents, including Grover Cleveland whose father, by the way, was a Presbyterian minister, he was the only other man to do what Donald Trump did. He was the only other man to do what Donald Trump did, and he was quite you know. Go over Cleveland, you look them up and you see that one of his famous quotes was the success of a government by the people depends upon the morality, the justice and the honesty of the people. But think about that the success of a government by the people, a government, democracy, depends upon what the morality, the justice and the honesty of the people. So righteousness, righteousness, exalteth the nation, not your military, not your economy, not your intelligence network. Benjamin Netanyahu had to learn that and Israel, without their savior, was depending upon its strength in a secular way and it failed when Hamas came in and killed all those Jews last year. So our country's progress spiritually can only happen if people turn to God and practice righteousness and honesty.
Robert MilitelloI don't see that happening, you know, make America great again. In what way? Put more money in people's pockets. Amen, I'm not against that. Amen. Make us stronger around the world so that our enemies will respect us. Amen. That's fine.
Robert MilitelloBut I want you to think about this Donald Trump is good for America, in my opinion. I just voted for him the other morning for the third time. Okay, and I know him not personally, but I know a lot about him. Living in New York and working for the mayor's office and the tabloids always had stories about Donald Trump, I know a lot about him. We're actually a month apart. He came into this world in June 1946. I came a month later, july 1946.
Robert MilitelloSo I grew up knowing the things and very careful about putting your eyes on a man. You know what the scripture says about trusting in man. You're cursed. You're cursed If you make the flesh, the arm of the flesh, your strength. You're cursed Now in another way. Turn to the psalm. Turn to Psalm 14, 2 and 3.
Robert MilitelloI was saying how does the Lord see these men? How does he? Well, donald Trump, I said, is going to be good for America. I believe that, or I wouldn't have voted for him. He's going to be good for America. He's going to be very good for Israel. They love him over there. He has a plus 70 percent popularity rate in Israel. And Benjamin Netanyahu, I think Tuesday night, benjamin Netanyahu, aside from some Trump people and Trump's family, was the happiest man in the world and for many reasons, it was important for him to see Donald Trump back in action in the White House, and I'll touch on that in a little bit about, maybe, why the Lord put Donald Trump back. I believe Donald Trump was used by the Lords in a significant way in his first term regarding Israel, the status of Jerusalem and many things, but the work was incomplete, in my opinion, and something more has to be done, and that's why, in my opinion, donald Trump was put back into the White House. Now he's good for Israel, very good for Netanyahu. He's good for America.
Robert MilitelloBut my question is this, brothers and sisters, and those of you that might be outside of the faith. God help you. Is he good for the body of Christ? Is he? Think about it. Think about that. God is interested in feeding his people and leading his people away from the things of this world. Okay, his prayer is for his people. He said it in John 17,. I believe John 17, verse 9. I pray for them, meaning his disciples. I pray not for the world. God's not interested in world peace right now. Okay, he's interested in preparing his people to leave this world and appear at the judgment seat of Christ and give an account of their service to their Savior. He's about feeding his people. He said in verse 16 regarding us john 7, verse 16 they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Robert MilitelloChristians now putting their hope in donald trump or looking to him for answers and a better way, and that's human nature. You want a way of life and you're hoping this guy will be good for America and he will be for Christians in many respects. But spiritually, spiritually, I don't know. I don't know. If it draws God's people away from looking to Jesus Christ, then what If it draws God's people away from praying for the blessed hope. Titus 2.13,. Looking what? To Donald Trump? Or how is he going to make America great? Or looking for that blessed hope? Amen, that's what I'm looking for To leave this world. Why, as a Christian, I'm a pilgrim here. I'm a stranger. This is not my home. I'm passing through, doing whatever I can to edify and save souls. This is my role as a Christian. I'm not worried about a legacy.
Robert MilitelloDonald Trump is a builder. He's a builder following the likes of Herod, who was a great builder, caesar, hitler, who wanted to be an architect. He's got his name all over the place. Amen, he's been successful. God bless him. God bless him. I thank God for that. Now, because of his money, he's able to resist the corrosion process in politics, which is to buy you off, and that's good. So he'll be good for America. But for the body of Christ? Again, I don't know. But for the body of Christ, again, I don't know. He sat in a church with his parents for years, at a Presbyterian church that was named the Marble Collegiate Church of Manhattan. I know the church and the pastor there was Dr Norman Vincent Peale. He's dead. A long time he was the godfather of positive thinking. You look him up and he wrote all these books on the power of positive thinking and how God wants every one of his people to be successful.
Robert MilitelloDonald Trump is very success-oriented. He surrounds himself with billionaires and very successful people. He admires them. He puts them on a pedestal. Elon Musk now, and Dana White, the guy who founded that fighting enterprise, people who have a great record of success these are people Donald Trump surrounds himself with Amen.
Robert MilitelloI'm not saying that's wrong. I'm not saying that's wrong. I'm not saying that's wrong. But what about these people? Now, if you look at Psalm, what is it? Psalm 14. How does God see these people? Psalm 14 says in verses two and three in your King James Bible the Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and seek God. Seek God, brothers and sisters. Not necessarily success. He says in verse three they are all gone aside. They are all together, become filthy. There is none that doeth good. No, not one, wow, wow. So I don't get too excited over politics and politicians. Okay, I know now what the scripture says. Before God opened my eyes, converted me and showed me what he had to say, I thought, like everybody else. Well, he's good for America, or this one's no good.
Robert MilitelloWhen I went Tuesday morning to vote here in Escambia County I was, I guess, number three, online number four. I was there early in the morning, the polls open at seven. I got to talk to this fellow that was online. I said I was 60 years ago this morning, on November the 5th, 1964. I was 18. It was the first time I ever voted. I left my house early in the evening and voted at PS-199, a few blocks from my house. I voted for Senator Barry Goldwater of Arizona and his running mate William Miller from Lackawanna, new York. A lot of people don't remember any of these names. I do.
Robert MilitelloI followed politics since I'm a boy, since I was 14. I said this on another message the summer of 19,. What was it? 63? No, I'm sorry. 1960, august 60. I was 14 years old.
Robert MilitelloI was watching TV with my pop in the living room, a little black and white TV, and we were watching the Democratic Convention and Senator John F Kennedy had just one nomination a senator from Massachusetts. Senator John F Kennedy had just one nomination a senator from Massachusetts. And I remember my dad telling me son, that's your next president. I said how do you know, dad? He says he's going to win. Look at him. He speaks well, he's good looking, he's got a way about him and the women are going to love him in both. For me he's going to be president. But that was the beginning of my interest.
Robert MilitelloI voted every election after that. I think I might have missed one, but I've been around and these men say a lot of things and you'll always hear the same thing. This is the most consequential election in the history of the United States and America's, at a turning point. I listened to rhetoric for years and I can't tell you how wonderful it was getting converted, having the Holy Spirit open my eyes to the Word of God and drinking clean water and having all the mists and the fog of my brain start to fog of my brain, start to turn away, just evaporate and see things clearly and say thank God, thank God for his truth. So I'm looking at this election and I'm saying, yeah, it's important, it's going to be important for a lot of Christians, maybe a little too important and that's a danger. And that's what I wanted to talk about this morning. So that's God's opinion of these men.
Robert MilitelloThe Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and seek God. Is Donald Trump doing that? I don't know. People say he's saved. I haven't heard a clear witness from his lips about putting my faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. He's my savior, or I know where I'm going when I die. I've had people say that about him and hopefully it's true. But I know as a young man he sat under Dr Norman Vincent Peale and he was imbued with that success ethic. And Dr Norman Vincent Peale has a successor today, that guy with the batting knee all the time, joel Osteen. You go to his church and you basically see Dr Norman Vincent Peale.
Robert MilitelloPart two God wants you to be a success. He wants everybody to prosper. Amen. He's calling his children to you know he wants us to do well, materially as well as spiritually. Get all these guys norman vincent peel, joel osteen and probably almost 90 of them on so-called christian tv and radio. They're all gonna put out the same stuff. There's never going to be about the cross, self-denial or the judgment seat of Christ. No, it's never going to be. He must increase, I must decrease. No, they got it the other way around. I must increase, and while I increase, I'll increase the Lord too, in my life, and it's brothers and sisters. It's a grand deception which the devil would use now to turn away a lot of Christians from their duty.
Robert MilitelloDonald Trump wants to build a legacy. All these men that are successful want to build a legacy. They'll put their name on towers and buildings, and they all do that. That gives them the sense of well, I was here. The world needs to remember me. But what's the legacy of a Christian? Why have we been saved? It says we're seated in heavenly places, and why doesn't the Lord take us home at that point? He keeps us here. We build a different kind of legacy. We're kept here to build the body of Christ. That's our mission. That's why that's our legacy. What is done for Christ will be taken up to glory, nothing else. Your name on a building, or the fact that you voted for the guy who turned out to be a great president, or whatever. So what? So what? That's our legacy. Now you know, everyone loves a winner. That's human nature. Everyone loves a winner and, as I said, donald Trump performed a miraculous feat in American political history and if you look at it, people want to join up with a winner and identify a winner, because it's a lot more pleasant than being with a loser.
Robert MilitelloBut as far as the world looks at things, jesus Christ was a loser. Yeah, I'm sorry to say yes, as the world looks at him. I remember talking to a Jew and he said to me no, he wasn't the Messiah, he was a loser. He didn't bring in the kingdom. I says that's the way you see him? He says yeah, he was a good man as far as doing good or anything but success. Wise.
Robert MilitelloI says well, his followers spread his message around the gospel. How can you call it? How can you say he's not a success? Well, as far as secular success, he was a loser. We go to the cross. When we come to Jesus Christ, we go to the cross and we should go daily to the cross. Paul said I die daily.
Robert MilitelloWe're considered by the world losers, upon as people who turned away from being success-oriented or wanting to contribute in a great way to making a name for ourselves. We have retreated, like so many other weak people, and gathered around this book that is becoming less and less significant in our society, less and less important. In a way, we're looked upon as losers. But now, for many Christians in America, we're identifying, we're the winner. We have a winner here, see, and we're going to feel great about that.
Robert MilitelloBut, brothers and sisters, be careful. Be careful, because when that level of excitement rises and there's that anticipation things are going to get better or I'm headed towards good things, the Lord has a way of well, look what he did in Daniel 5 and Belshazzar's Feast, when they were all happy and excited and toasting one another with the very vessels that were taken from the temple in Jerusalem. It was that night that the hand came out of nowhere and started writing on the wall and it petrified those Babylonian nobles and the king. It petrified them. Their knees were shaking. The Lord has a way of striking at a time just when you're riding high. The night before the Titanic was to pull into New York Harbor, all seemed well, but then disaster struck. Disaster struck while the band played and the night turned into a living hell for many of them. God help those poor people. Turned into a living hell for many of them. God help those poor people. What it must have been like to jump into that freezing North Atlantic water after having lifted up their glass and toasting one another and making record time crossing the Atlantic from England to New York Harbor.
Robert MilitelloSo while everybody well, many in the body of Christ anyway and others are going to toast January 20th and say thank God for Donald Trump and he's going to save America and everything, be careful, be careful, the Lord. Well, he says in his word in an hour, when you think not, the Son of man cometh. So we don't know my eyes, and the reason I'm giving this teaching is to stay fixed on the author and finisher of our faith, the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, what did I say about Trump coming back? Part two of politics it's a crazy thing, but the Lord has a plan and it centers around Israel, and I want the brothers and sisters to think about this. Israel is the apple of his eye. The church age is a pause in God's plan for Israel and the Jews to run the world, and they will, with the Lord on his throne in Jerusalem and David serving under him. This is for a thousand years.
Robert MilitelloThis is where Hitler got his thousand year Reich. When he took power in Germany, he said the third Reich will exist for a thousand years. He got that from the book of Revelation. He thought he was bringing in the millennium for Germany to be the power of the world. By the way, for those of you who might not know why he called it the Third Reich, the First Reich was a Holy Roman Empire. That was back in the Middle Ages and the Second Reich was under Otto von Bismarck in the 1800s, the late 1800s, and that was run by the Kaiser, and that led to World War I. So Hitler came along and he pronounced himself as the boss of the Third Reich. Well, that ended in disaster. In fact, tomorrow I'm making this November 8th, but tomorrow, november 9th 1938, was Kristallnacht. In Germany, under Hitler, all the synagogues and Jewish-owned businesses were attacked in major cities and it was called the Night of Broken Glass, kristallnacht, and the Jews remember that. That is still alive and it was a horrible night. It shows what the world thinks of the Jews. When people take power, they seem to go after the Jews, and anti-Semitism and hating the Jews is in vogue in these last days.
Robert MilitelloNow Donald Trump is going to be a blessing for Israel. I believe the Lord put him in part two because of unfinished business. Unfinished business when he was put in and took office in 2017. I remember, in the campaign of 2016, one of his principal promises was that he would move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and he did and he did. He lived up to that. He honored his word. Although when he first took power in the spring of 2017, he did not do it. He had the opportunity to do it. I think I mentioned this on other broadcasts. I got on the phone at that time and I called my congressman I think it was newly elected Matt Gaetz and I called, I think, senator Rubio's office and I said you have to put pressure on this president to honor his promise. He promised to move the embassy and he seems to have backed away and he's going to lose votes and he might not carry Florida again, especially in this panhandle area where this is an important issue for Bible-believing Christians and others who love.
Robert MilitelloThe Jews Turned out later that year, in spite of all the world screaming, including the Pope and the King of Jordan making a special trip to the White House to talk Trump out of this, he said the United States embassy will be moved to Jerusalem. And boy, he won the hearts of the Jews at that point. Man, he was really Mr Wonderful. They call them Cyrus. Really, mr Wonderful. They call them Cyrus. If you look up in the Bible, cyrus was the friend of Israel, allowing the Jews to go back and build their temple, and he did other things for the Jews too. So they love him and they're happy he's back. Now he has to finish what he started. What he started was the so-called Abraham Accords, which is to lay a groundwork for peace in the Middle East between Israel and their Arab neighbors, including everyone in the region. His son-in-law, jared Kushner, who's a Jew, was working on that project and was going to announce or tell the American people how far along this thing was going, because it seemed to be headed towards success.
Robert MilitelloThen something happened in January in 24 years ago more than four years ago now the COVID thing broke out and that threw a monkey wrench into the whole political process and that deal with the Middle East and the so-called Abraham Accords had to be postponed and shelled and the attention of the president had to be turned towards this crisis and, unfortunately for Donald Trump, he made some crazy statements during that time. You know, inject yourself with bleach or it's no big deal. He lost the women vote. He was turned out of power, basically by the women, and we had sleepy Joe Biden put in there, who went to sleep for the next three and a half years and turned senile. That was a disaster for America in many ways, but the Lord pulled him out. And how close might he have been towards greasing the skids for Middle East peace, only God knows.
Robert MilitelloBut now he's going back. By the grace of God, unless something untoward happens, he's going back to finish the job and it's already begun. In a way. He's already told Prime Minister Netanyahu you've got a blank check to deal with your enemy, the enemy being Iran, persia. Israel has this problem with Iran. So why did God put Donald Trump back into office? To give Prime Minister Netanyahu and Israel some breathing room? They've got Iran down their neck. Iran is just committed to destroying Israel. They say that all the time. Death to America, death to Israel. Now Israel cannot live in peace with this nation committed to their destruction. So what is this blank check Now President-elect Donald Trump will give? Netanyahu will be permission to go ahead and do to Iran what must be done to secure some sort of peace in that area. Not the peace that the Antichrist will bring in. I don't believe Donald Trump is the Antichrist for one moment, but it will open the door to a larger, wider Mideast peace, and that's where the Antichrist will come in. But in the meantime, he'll give Netanyahu the green light. Kamala would never have done that and Biden certainly wasn't going to do it. So this is what you can prepare for.
Robert MilitelloHow do I know this From the Bible? What book precedes Job? The book of Esther? The book of Esther? Thank God for the King James Bible. Amen, because this is not in the Hebrew Bible. Now, what do you have in Job? You have a type of Israel in the Hebrew Bible. Now, what do you have in Job? You have a type of Israel 42 chapters, three and a half months, going through the great tribulation, which is Satan looking to destroy Israel and getting permission from God to really hurt Israel. Just like Satan got permission from God to work over Job, who was considered a righteous man and a good man, and the devil will get permission from God to work over Israel to the point where almost all the Jews will be killed. There'll just be a small remnant left, at least in Jerusalem. So what happens before that in our Bible? Where we are today?
Robert MilitelloIs this problem with Iran? Now I'm looking at it from the Jewish point of view, from a believer's point of view, you say what about America? I thank God for America. I thank God, I'm here and I want amen. God bless Donald Trump and I went to pray as Christians for those that God puts in authority over us, amen.
Robert MilitelloBut there's a much bigger picture here and it involves the apple of his eye and what Persia back in the Old Testament. What Persia was to the Jews here under Haman was a disaster. He wanted to destroy Israel and all the Jews in the provinces that were ruled by Persia. Haman winds up getting hung on the gallows that he built for Mordecai, esther's cousin. So the last principal threat that Israel faces in their history well, now, in our history, before the Great Tribulation comes from Iran, haman back in the Bible was a modern-day Ayatollah. Just like the modern-day Ayatollah is the successor to Haman, he wants to kill all the Jews. Now, biden and Harris weren't going to let that happen as far as Iran destroying Israel, but they prevented Israel from taking care of their enemies. Israel must have an opportunity to destroy Iran before they get destroyed.
Robert MilitelloI believe that's the reason Donald Trump won and is headed back to the White House. He has a job to do. He is going to be used by the Lord, like the Lord uses everybody in every nation, to accomplish God's purpose. And what is God's purpose? To spare Israel right now from this threat, because Iran is working on a nuclear weapon. They might have one already, god only knows.
Robert MilitelloNow, with Donald Trump as president, israel might get permission I think they will to use the American buster bombs, the bunker buster bombs, these bombs that can go way into the ground and explode. Bombs, these bombs that can go way into the ground and explode. And in fact, they had tested them not far from where I live, at Eglin Air Force Base, which is about 45 minutes from here in Okaloosa County. I remember a couple of years ago, with the local stations telling everybody that there would be a noise and they weren't to be concerned or get upset because there was some military testing going on at Eglin Air Force Base and that was the bunker buster bombs. So this is why Netanyahu woke up Wednesday morning. A very happy man, a very happy man, and I thank God, thank God. Israel needs help. They need to somehow eliminate this nation that is dedicated to destroying them, these Muslim fanatics.
Robert MilitelloDonald Trump has a mission. He's going back to the White House. You know people say did you expect his victory? Well, he escaped two assassination attempts, one, just a millimeter or so, a couple of centimeters from blowing his head off, would you say. God's hand was on him. Obviously, yes, obviously, he was being protected and preserved by the Lord, god Almighty, for a specific purpose.
Robert MilitelloAnd what does God use to accomplish his will? You think it's always got to be a super Christian. No, I showed you in Daniel. He chooses the basis of men. Donald Trump is in love with success, money, whatever. I know that. It's obvious. One looks upon his life. You see that. And who does God use? Well, if he has to, he'll use Balaam's donkey, a jackass, to speak to his people. He's not limited.
Robert MilitelloSo here comes Donald Trump. If it draws you away from the book, there's a problem. If it takes your eyes off of Jesus Christ, there's a problem If you stop praying for the Lord to come remember. View especially American society, which is wicked to the core. Wicked to the core. Is Donald Trump going to spare us in that way from judgment? No, we might have gotten a reprieve, like we did the first time when he beat Hillary Clinton. God is long-suffering. It doesn't mean his judgment won't come. America must be judged, because God is holy and God is just. America will be judged.
Robert MilitelloWhat might have happened now here is a little bit more of a delay, a little bit more of a postponement. You show up in court and you expect sentencing or something, and then the judge says no, we're rescheduling this on the calendar. So-and-so didn't show up, the witness didn't show up, we're going to reschedule it for a couple of months down the road and blah, blah, blah. This is what's happening here. The Lord is rescheduling America's judgment and giving us more time. And what is that time going to be used for? Well, if you're a Christian, you know what it should be used for. Draw closer to the Lord and try and win souls. That's our job here. That's why we're still here, not to fall in love with the world or the political system, or you know.
Robert MilitelloI just wonder how many of God's people are going to see through the subtlety of the enemy to take your eyes off of what really matters, what really matters to me. I know a lot about politics and I can tell you I've heard the same thing over and over and over again Nothing is going to change as far as America's spiritual direction. This country is hell-bent on permissiveness with sin, legalizing marijuana. We've got kids in school being told that you're not a female, you're really a male, or you're a male who wants to be a female. So they get permission to. The guy gets permission to go into the girl's bathroom or participate in women's sports and whatever. This is the spiritual direction of our country. It's going in the toilet. There's more child pornography today than it's horrible.
Robert MilitelloGod sees this. The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. America's not going to have its judgment canceled. It's postponed temporarily for the Lord to finish off the business that involves his nation, the apple of his eye. He never promised to save America.
Robert MilitelloAmerica's not in prophecy. Where is it anyway? I believe the rapture destroys America. The same day, lot and his daughters unfortunately not his wife left Sodom. That same day, fire and brimstone rained down from heaven. It probably signifies a nuclear attack. And Sodom is the way the United States has become in these last 20 or 30 years. So I don't see America there. I see Lot as a type of a last-age Christian, a believer who had no influence, lost his testimony, but because he belonged to the Lord and because his uncle Abraham was praying for him. God sent angels to rescue him. Amen, amen. God doesn't forget. God answers prayer.
Robert MilitelloA lot of Americans right now, a lot of American Christians, who are not living for the Lord, not doing right, their minds are not on spiritual things. God is long suffering, but there's going to be a surprise one day. There's going to be a surprise. They're going to be pulled out in a hurry because judgment is about to fall. But in the meantime, the Lord has to prepare the way for this Mideast comprehensive deal to take place, and that involves neutralizing Iran. And this is why I believe again, donald Trump has the opportunity now to give Netanyahu what Netanyahu wants.
Robert MilitelloNetanyahu himself will probably have to pay for this later on, because it was on his watch that the Hamas came in and killed all those Jews last October not this past October, but last year and he was known as Mr Security. Well, mr Security fell asleep at the switch because Israeli intelligence failed and everything that Israel was placing its hope on technology and its military and its spy system, especially the Mossad and the Shin Bet, to make Israel aware of what's going on they all failed. Why? Because the Bible says safety is of the Lord. Safety is of the Lord. I saw that in New York City and the towers going down. I don't care what precautions the NYPD took to smoke out the terrorists, even planting plainclothes, New York City detectives some who even knew Arabic into mosques to sit there and find out what they were talking about, what their plans were Still came. Destruction came. It came from a place they didn't know the skies two planes flying into the towers. New York City expected a terrorist attack, but not like that. So safety is of the Lord.
Robert MilitelloNetanyahu had to find that out the hard way. Is he saved or converted? I don't know. But Israel still has their eyes closed. They had that veil over their eyes. They still haven't found that their only safety is really the Lord. So until then, until God really deals with them, israel, secular Israel, which will pass into history soon, must deal with its arch enemy. It must take out Haman once again.
Robert MilitelloAnd that's why the church is in a transition period right now, waiting to go home, waiting to leave this world, like Queen Vashti, who did not want to attend the banquet that her husband, the king, had arranged and she was dismissed. She was exiled, sent out. The church will be dismissed shortly as it loses its saltiness and it will be replaced by a Jewish queen, just like Esther replaced Queen Vashti. So we're in a transition. Now we're waiting for the Lord to take us home. While we're waiting. Now we're waiting for the Lord to take us home. While we're waiting amen. Are we rejoicing over the fact that we were spared. We dodged another bullet in having Kamala Harris take over the White House. Yes, we were spared. This guy will go down in history. He spared America twice from, in my opinion, two nutty women from running this country. First one was Hillary and now Kamala.
Robert MilitelloAnd in comes Donald Trump, by the grace of God, and stops that. And that's God's way of you know, really telling America. I'm giving you more time. And what does the delay in judgment really amount to? Well, it's more grace. Your grace period has been extended. It's like getting a notice from the insurance company you haven't made a payment, so the next 30 days are a grace period. We're covering you, although you haven't paid on your policy. Many policies have that. They have a grace period and sometimes you can get an extension on that grace period, just like on a mortgage. You go to the bank and you say I'm sorry, I'm in trouble here. Things turned against me. I can't make a payment right now, so could you please extend the grace period? And they will. In many cases, they just want to get some money out of you rather than foreclose on you.
Robert MilitelloAmerica, with Donald Trump now going back to the White House, has had its grace period extended, but will the bill come and have to be paid eventually? Yes, it will. Why? Because God is holy and God is just and sin must be punished. And considering all the life that our blessed Lord has given America over the years, we are held to a high account. Oh my God, when I think of it. Oh Lord, thank you, you've been so good to this country. But the danger is much life. Much is required. I thank God for America, amen.
Robert MilitelloI'm here because my father was in the army in Europe in World War II and fighting, and met a German girl. They had an affair. She became pregnant at 16 years of age. Her name was Katharina Kroost. She fell in love with my dad. My dad got discharged, the war was over. He came back and told his parents in Brooklyn, new York, that I have a German girl pregnant there. She's going to have my baby. I'm going back for her and I'm bringing her to America. And that's what he did. And my mother carried me as a child in her arms on a plane, flew to LaGuardia, but my father picked her up and brought her to his home in Brooklyn and she didn't understand a word of English.
Robert MilitelloShe was a very courageous woman, leaving her mother and father and her two younger sisters in Germany to come to a country where the culture, everything was completely different. And well, I think back and I saw God's hand was on me. God was so good to me. My parents didn't have the Bible, I didn't grow up with the Bible, but they were really committed to teaching me what was right and wrong, and I thank God for that. And then, when the time came that the Lord opened my eyes, I was able, by the grace of God, to convince my mother and father that they needed the new birth or they'd never make it, they'd never see the Lord Religion, infant baptism wasn't enough. My mother, as a Lutheran, had told me she was baptized and she wasn't Catholic, and she felt she was good enough, and I had to explain that to her and get rid of some of that self-righteousness. And my father too. But my father always had this sense of knowing that God was with him. He said to me many times he said he felt the hand of God telling him do the right thing, don't leave that young girl in Germany by herself there, take her here. And he did, and I know how happy he was.
Robert MilitelloWhen I got ordained into the ministry oh, I'm so thankful. When I got ordained into the ministry, oh, I'm so thankful. My parents, grandparents, others, sisters I mean family members as many, oh, a couple of dozen, maybe more hands I was all saved by the grace of God because the Lord's hand was on me and I was able to convince them. The Bible is true, not the Catholic Church, not the traditions that you were raised with. They won't save you. In fact, if anything, they'll make you think you're okay, and that's not good. You're not okay, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We all need a payment that we cannot make ourselves. That payment was in blood, precious blood by the Lord Jesus Christ, and a Christian needs to remember that every day and remind yourself why you're here. Is it for the glory of America? No, no.
Robert MilitelloI thank God for America, but I had, as a Catholic, been prompted to pray to Mary and saints. And then, when God opened my eyes, I realized the gift is not greater than the giver. Mary is not greater than God, america is not greater than the word of God or my savior, god or my Savior. America is a gift and I thank God for America, but it's not to be placed above affection for my Savior, dedication, passion and zeal for my Savior. Why? Because I'm a pilgrim here, I'm just passing through, I'm on my way home, the way you are as a Christian. That's where I belong, that's my home, that's where I'm headed to. In the meantime, I'll do the best I can for my nation because I thank God for America.
Robert MilitelloMy father fought for America, killed people for America. So I thank God for America and I'll do the best I can, which means turn people to Jesus Christ and exhort his people and encourage his people to prepare to meet God. That's the best I can do as far as changing things in a significant way. No, the die is cast. The die is cast. We're under judgment. I can't reverse that. I can't reverse that. But I can tell Christians and warn them keep that book close to your heart. Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee. And don't let this attachment to Donald Trump or the political process steer you away from what really matters.

Robert MilitelloThe Lord deserves to be served with passion and zeal. So all these Christian ministers that got tied into the political process and exhorted their people to get out and vote, all of that that's wonderful, but now it's time to sit back and reorient themselves to why they're still here on earth to serve the Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
