The American Hanoverian Society, the Society was incorporated in 1978 to establish, maintain and operate a non-profit association of breeders, owners, and riders for the promotion and preservation of the warmblooded Hanoverian horse in North America. In addition to managing the Hanoverian studbook, the Society also manages the Rhineland studbook. The Hanoverian horse is one of the most important horse breeds in the world, with numerous champions in the Olympic disciplines of dressage, show jumping, and eventing.
