USC experts have paused to consider how the continuing fight for racial and social justice takes a toll on the bodies and minds of Black Americans, and how joy and wellness are crucial for their strength and resilience.

This month Dr. Rostan interviews local Board-certified Dermatologists Dr. Amy McMicheal as they discuss some of the hair disorders common in African American women and some helpful hair care tips. She also speaks with one of her patients about their experience with CCCC, the treatments she did and how accepting and taking the next steps gave her healthier and stronger hair.
