There is a point. Is there a point in all this? Let's find a point. The world is like a ride and an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it, you think it's real, because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills, and it's very brightly colored and it's very loud. And it's fun for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question it, is this real or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered and they come back to us and they say, hey, don't worry, don't be afraid ever. Because this is just a ride.

And we kill those people. Chuck them up. We have a lot invested in this ride. Chuck them up. Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account. And my family. This has to be real. It's just a ride.

But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that. You ever notice that? And let the demons run among? But it doesn't matter because it's just a ride. We can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. A choice right now. Between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your door, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world right now to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defense each year, and instead spend it feeding, clothing, and educating the poor of the world, which it would many times over, not one human being excluded, and we can explore space together. Both inner and outer. Forever.

Hello and welcome to another edition of the typical Confusion Podcast. I'm your host, Jim Holliday. Boy, things are gonna get crazy around here in the next couple of months. They're gonna be doing construction in my apartment. I have no idea when they're gonna do it. They haven't given me a date yet. It's been crazy. That's why I haven't put out a podcast in a while. I've been stressing over that. Plus, I've been talking with a young lady, and she's all the way across the country, and she says she wants to move here. Well, the first time she talked about it, she never did anything about it. I said, Well, you want a relationship with me? I said, the only way you're gonna get that is if you move here. So we've been talking, and I keep stressing to her that if this is what she wants, she has to move here. So now I'm waiting on her to get her social security straightened out. Once she does that, then she can move here. But she's gonna have to live in a hotel for a couple of months. She can't move in with me, not until I do the proper paperwork. And because I have to follow procedures here in this apartment building. Oh, I have, you know, all kinds of things happen to me in here. So it's just been crazy. I've lived here over 20 years. Seen a lot of people come, a lot of people go, a lot of people die. So I finally put my grocery order in for Monday, the 14th of April. That'll get delivered in the morning. The Phillies have evened the series with the St. Louis Cardinals by winning yesterday, Saturday. They lost on Friday night to nothing. So Zach Wheeler will be on the mound on Sunday. Next Sunday is Easter. Wow. My how time flies. So that's what's going on in my world. Today's the 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th. It'll be the 17th when the season ends. April 17th, 2025. The Flyers have a lot of things they need. They need a coach for one. They've got a lot of players to build around. They need a goaltender. They need to straighten out their whole goaltending situation. They had three this year, and that wasn't a solution. Boy, did they fall off a cliff and they finally axed John Tortorella? It was uh reported by Broads that he told Cam York that if he signed an extension, he would be buried on the bench, and I think that's what got him fired. So that's what's going on in Flyers Land. I've been keeping track and listening to Fire Flyers Daily with Jason Retitas. He's going through cancer treatments. His final treatment is or I think it was Friday. The final treatment that he went through. So hopefully he is cancer free. And um his birthday was actually March 31st. He turned 53. And he spent his birthday hooked up to machinery to get his uh medicine pumped into him, and he says it wipes him out. He slept for like 36 hours or something like that. Man, that is tough. I've been through a colonoscopy once, and I'm gonna have to go through it again. It's not fun because you have to empty out your body. You have to make sure you remain hydrated while doing it. So that's what's going on here. It was a disaster in St. Louis.

Louis Cardinals took two out of three from the Philadelphia Phillies. They beat them today, the 13th of April, 7-0. They've been sleepwalking through the past couple of games. This is the first time that the Phillies have lost a series in St. Louis since 2017. At the time of this taping, the Phillies are 9 6 and ranked second in the NL East. Compare that to the Braves, their record is 4 11 and they are ranked fifth in the NL East.
