Dr. Kenta Nakamura joins us on this week's episode to discuss the history of stem cell research and how he plans to help lead it into the future.   His educational foundation in stem cell biology has intersected with an interventional clinical focus at UW Medicine to now lead a new clinical trial with human vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) to induce therapeutic angiogenesis (revascularization).
