Pull the Chute podcast features Irma Neal, A former Deputy Mayor of Indianapolis and former Director of Human Services in two large urban jurisdictions.
She has over 30 years’ experience in managing human services programs in state and local government and corporate America. She possesses over 15 years’ experience as a private business owner, partner, and manager, offering training and consulting services to government agencies, educational institutions, associations and the private sector.
The eldest of a midwest family of 8, Irma got a crash course in how not to deal with money. From the lights being turned off to the piles of unpaid bills, to the cockroaches underfoot, she knew at ten years old that she must learn about money and how it works and it still drives her today to help others to learn the ropes. Paired with her background in child services, she led a team to invent an electronic childcare system called EBT.
Ms. Neal retired in October 2014 and immediately continued her education, becoming a Certified Financial Coach. An amazon best-selling author of the book “Leading in Chaos: Insights to Lead through the Storms”. Her passion is to make a positive difference in the lives of everyone she encounters.
