Introducing Mary Kathryn Harrah or Mkay!
Mkay is a former UNC field hockey goalie and a National Champ! Mkay played field hockey for UNC all four years until she graduated in 2019. Her final season with UNC ended in a National Championship as well as an undefeated record! Mkay is still a Chapel Hill regular – now on staff at the UNC Study Center!
In this episode, Mkay looks back on her time at UNC. She shares the joys and struggles of being a student-athlete for four years. She also dives into the wonderful world of Christian ministries here at UNC. As an athlete, she was heavily involved with Athletes in Action and is still helping ministries on campus!
Mkay was one of the first people I met in North Carolina and it was so much fun hearing her story! Her faith is so genuine and authentic which made this so enjoyable. This episode has great advice for athletes but also for college students as a whole!
