6 - Inside The Overground with Boi Jeanius

In this episode, Sabby sits down with Chicago’s very own DJ Boi Jeanius. As a true leader and boundary pusher in the DJ Culture, he describes his path and frame of mind in the process of reaching this current space which he calls The OverGround. It is a platform as much as it is a mindset, designed to put the power back into artists who choose to believe in themselves, to “accept their dopeness” and build community.

This conversation isn’t meant for the closed minded. It is delivered by a creator, for the creators who can’t imagine their life in any other way because of how much the work impacts and influences their every day. Boi Jeanius serves as the awakened subconscious, telling you and every artist all the things they should hear, and maybe haven’t. We, as creators, can then choose what to do with these words.
