The topic of why Gen Z men under 30 have checked out of dating has been circulating, and the comment sections tell the full story of the problem. Men who are not even in the game arguing about whether the game is worth playing. This episode is a direct response to those comments, and a breakdown of what is actually going on with the generation of men who have decided to tap out before they even started.
First, the comment that says it is not a skill issue, it is a motivation issue and the juice is not worth the squeeze. King Dre addresses that head on. How would you know? If you have never been in it, you are not qualified to make that call. What you are actually doing is disdaining what you cannot have, a documented psychological defense mechanism where people tear down what they fail to attain. It is the sour grapes effect, and it has always existed. It just has a new audience and a new internet to spread on.
Then the episode gets into the real reasons, drawn from eight years of coaching men across every age, background, and walk of life. Peter Pan syndrome and the refusal to leave the nest, which kills drive, identity, and every attractive quality a man should be developing in his 20s. Pornography rewiring the brain for instant reward and removing the hunger to pursue real women. Fear of rejection being dressed up as philosophy and statistics. And an entire ecosystem of miserable content creators who have monetized bitterness, created a common enemy out of modern women, and given men a comfortable place to stay stuck.
The game has not gotten harder. The excuses have just gotten louder.
